Visited Halloumi at the weekend and shared a variety of dishes. We had spanikopita, loaded fries with halloumi, halloumi gyros special, feta tempura and chicken souvlaki. Personally, the feta would have been nicer in smaller chunks as it was very overpowering flavour wise at that size. The spanokopita was lovely but the dishes with fries (loaded and gyros) were totally over salted. My partner said his chicken was perfect. The cocktails were delicious and the service was super.

Fantastic, buzzing place. Nice interior, a lot of attention to detail. Candles, plants, Greek themes (obviously). Delicious food. Try 7 meze plated and all looked very appetising, tasted deliciously, good portions. Food freshly cooked. Hot, fragrant food. Good value for money. Nice crowd. Very attentive manager and professional bunch of staff members. Fantastic experience. Will be back

My family and I popped in for a lunch today to celebrate my mums birthday and it didn’t disappoint. The staff worked really hard today despite the challenges of the day, and we left a £15 tip to thank them, and to to help show some appreciation for how they handled the day. I’ll definitely be going back, we’re a notoriously a fussy family with exploring new foods, so it was lovely to eat so many new things we enjoyed. Manager was such a lovely man and we wish the staff the best

Went here for my 30th birthday tonight with my parents! was fantastic, food was great, portions aren't very big but the quality is very good! had a great time! and they gave me a complimentary shot for my birthday! <3

The place is very nice, have a Santorini vibe, the service very polite, the hummus was very good, the pita bread too, the grilled Halloumi was missing the smoky flavor (of a grilled cheese) and the Gyro Chicken was regular the taste was not strong the chicken missed flavor. The price was great 25£ with tip.

Lovely Greek authentic food and great values for money on the set meals and good size portions too, highly recommend that you book this in advance.

The best restaurant EVER! We seriously had tears in our eyes when we tasted the food. We'd never ate such delicious meals! Just go for it, as soon as you can! (And book a table in advance because the restaurant is really popular)

We visited the restaurant and ordered many Greek dishes that were good and delicious and a great way, the staff is nice and friendly, thank to the Greek chef for welcoming us.

I visited with a couple of people and had a good effort on getting through most of the menu. I personally thought it was all pretty good particularly the octopus; however, the hummus was pretty bland and I never really understand the undressed leaves on a slate to decorate the halloumi!

Excellent food, beautiful interior and great service. The food was ready fast. The only complaint is that the table surface was sticky, even the napkins were stick to the table because of stickiness. We tried chips with Halloumi, Lamb Moussaka which were both good and Lamb chops, the lamb chops was one of the best chops I’ve ever had.

Lovely high quality Greek food from a very broad menu. We were a group of 6 celebrating a birthday. Service was very friendly from very polite and attentive staff. Wasn't cheap and the wine was a bit over priced. We were in on a Sunday afternoon in January, so it wasn't busy, bit quiet, no great atmosphere. All good though. Really enjoyed it and will definitely go back.

What a wonderful dining experience at Halloumi Glasgow! Food was absolutely delicious. Tha mezze presentation allowed us to try a number of dishes and we very much enjoyed them all. The Greek salad was easily shareable and delicious. The lamb moussaka was amazing! . The spices were perfect and the lamb and eggplant delicious. We shared a bottle of wine but the cocktails on other tables certainly looked inviting! Dessert , the GALAKTOBOUREKO recommended by the waiter was especially delicious! All in all a wonderful experience which we highly recommend!

Great food. Love the Gyros! Went here with my husband on a busy Friday night and they were still able to get us a seat no problem. The staff were very friendly and gave us advice on drinks they would recommend. Only negative would be the music was a bit to loud and it was hard to have a conversation.

Came here last night for a late Friday dinner. Booked and got there about 9pm. The atmosphere was buzzing and the host was Lovley, she cleared our table and sat us down after a short wait. We had our drinks and food orders taken, the food cam super fast right after we got our drinks which were Hendricks and tonic/vodka coke. First the beetroot dip with pita, and chicken gyros. Then the moussaka and halloumi pomegranate salad. All were absolutely perfect in taste and a perfect amount of food. We followed the meal with 2 espresso’s and the bill only came to about £40 + tip which is incredible value considering we left full and happy with how we were treated. Can’t wait to come back and try some more dishes - thank you to the host and the rest of the team there.

Amazing experience. The place checks off everything you want from a great night out with amazing food. The service was absolutely great, the people are so friendly. And not that USA fake friendliness, genuinely cool people where you just want to grab a drink with. On top of that, the food is absolutely great. The dishes diverse, and on point. And all of this reasonably priced. Will definitely go again!

OMG! This was the best Greek food I've ever had. Even better they serve until later in the evening which was perfect for a hot summer night. Friendly and competent service, fun and funky place decor-wise. Family run. There are not enough words for how much we liked the food. 2 small plates per person was plenty for us, add one for the table if you're extra hungry, you can always order more!

Amazing food, great atmosphere and staff and fantastic

Me and my girlfriend had booked a table as when we walked past a month prior and it looked lovely inside.We sat down and looked at the menu, the prices where stupidly expensive and the drinks where over priced. A pint of pepsi was about £3. The waitress came over and told us its best to get 3 dishes as the sizes where a small, and she want lying. Me and my girlfriend are college students so we aren't the most financially stable. We ended up ordering 2 dishes each and a 1 drink each. The food tasted awful and the hallomi was not cooked correctly. Our total was £30 for 4 tiny dishes. The second i got home i VOMITED everything back up and the morning after so did my girlfriend. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I have been coming to Glasgow for three years due to work and this is by far THE BEST PLACE I HAVE EVER EATEN AT. Gyros was tasty. Halloumi fries were to die for and the Greek salad was classic. Decor was great and the staff were so attentive. Definitely a must

Got a delivery. The chicken was pink and the 19 quid bottle of wine arrived opened! Poured it down the drain. What a waste of money.

The food was good, with the chicken souvlaki and spanakopita particularly tasty. The feta tempura, loaded fries and halloumi gyros were all nice but not quite at the same level for what you're paying. The cocktails were a highlight, order plenty! The atmosphere in the restaurant was good and the staff lovely. The table we booked had a 1hr30 turnaround which is usually ok but the dishes came out staggered and we only finished with 10 minutes left on the table as a result so didn't really have any time for coffee or dessert and felt a little rushed as a result. Overall decent meal but feel there are better options available in Glasgow.

I'll keep this short and sweet 😋 this restaurant is Banging 💥 💥. Whether it's a couple or a group of diner's (and I've done both ) this is the place to go . Truly wonderful in every way. This place is buzzin 🤪, the food is proper next level , the staff are in to it , the owner is often present but is part of the team and has no apparent impact on the function of the restaurant that I've noticed. If its not broken dont fix it....but be there to fluff the pillows if needed. A true find of satisfaction for patrons , employees and the stability that whether you work here or eat here or own here, everyone will have a smile on thier face. If you want to smile go to Halloumi 😁

Had heard mixed reviews from friends but really loved the menu so decided to go. The food is excellent, got a table which was a little cramped but the service was excellent. Lots of options to choose from, opted for 3 dishes each but the gyros was an overstep, was too greedy :-) Everything else was great, the deep fried feta with mango chilli (I think I've got that right) was immense, everything else was delicious. Great and very attentive service and very good value. Would probably prefer some other beers to choose from but the cocktails were excellent. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

First and foremost the food is amazing. Pleasantly suprised to find it is a tapas restaurant, allowing us to try all different Greek dishes which we loved. Giving it 3 stars due to it being to loud as if being in a bar, requiring my group to shout at times. Asked for it to be turned down but told no as the owner likes it that way when it is busy. When it got quieter I asked again but the manager said staff are unable to alter the sound levels or will get in trouble. A very ridiculous way to run a great restaurant that is so popular! Highly recommend for 2 people but disappointed with the trip for 6 of us.

Been to Greece many a time and by far, this is the best Greek experience outside of Greece! Food is delicious and the staff are amazing 👏 10 out of 10! The moussaka and the swordfish, sublime. You need to eat here 😋 x

Food was really good. They recommend 3 dishes per person as they are small, however I found the chicken gyro to be enough for me and very tasty. The Halloumi fries are amazing. Chicken souvlaki was a bit dry and could use more seasoning.

One of the best places I’ve been to eat in a very long time. Freshly cooked tapas to die for served by a real Greek god of a man - top tasting dishes were Crispy Calamari, Feta Tempura, King Prawns and gorgeous dips topped off with ouzo to drink. Don’t miss out… you MUST try this restaurant for contemporary Greek eating and vibe.

Fabulous stylish, food is on the mark, excellent value and service. Was let down on much anticipated visit by overly loud tribal music which was invasive and inhibited conversation. Sort that and it would be 5 stars.

Super quick service. A light supper of a couple of gyros and some prawn and octopus sides. All tasted fresh and delicious. A bargain for under thirty quid. Very much recommended.

We had a lovely afternoon here. Food, service and staff all first class. We will return with friends and family.

The food was good but the staff totally forgot one of the dishes we ordered. 3 waitresses asked us the dame question - if we were finished and could take away our plates - and each of them went to check for our last dish ... friendly but so unorganised. The restaurant was also far too noisy to be able to enjoy our meal. Acoustic panels are highly recommended here. On winter days, don't sit near the front door! Too much cold air comes in with every customer.

Incredibly fast service. The food is amazing - arrives hot, fresh and good sharing sized portions which will not leave you hungry! Always a warm and buzzing atmosphere when I've been in, even on weekday nights.

Really nice little place for lunch, highly recommend ordering off of the express lunch menu. All of the meze dishes we ordered arrived at our table as soon as they were ready and freshly cooked when we ordered them. Would definitely come back again

I had been meaning to visit for some time and wasn't disappointed. We popped in for a late lunch / early dinner before going to the cinema. The menu comprises small plates that can be shared. They recommend three dishes per person but five between two people was plenty for us. Everything was freshly prepared to order and well presented. Staff are very helpful and friendly. I had the cocktail of the day and spotted them taking photos of it before serving because I was the first one to order it! (It was yummy!)

Classy, lovely mix of dishes served in tapas style..not a failure amongst the six we chose..finished off with a wonderful Greek style rice pudding. Marvellous.

Worst greek salad ever eaten. Greek salad should be bigger, with more feta cheese, tomatoes and less indigestible onions and pepperoni. In other Greek restaurants, the same salad is a main and deliciuos dish at the same prize.
