Great atmosphere. Fantastic service from both the casino staff and restaurant staff. Well decorated and perfectly laid out seats, cushions, the lot. Food was top notch for the price. Highly recommend eating there even if you're not in there for playing games. :) lovely outdoor balcony to just chill and look out onto the quayside. :))

Stopped in here during a work trip in Glasgow. Second time at a Casino so don't have a lot of references. First impressions were pretty good, friendly reception staff who signed me up. The table staff were helpful in teaching me how to play the games and how things worked. Went here a couple times before heading home.

Went for dinner. Service was good, food was so so. Looked nice

Fantastic night enjoyed the poker and the guys ran the game well. Although they were the only two running the game still had a smile on their face with some good banter. Hope all goes well for the future and will most certainly be back well done to all the staff. The new tables are brill too.

My wife and I had a great Saturday night experience, food was excellent quality and amazing value, service was quick too. No membership required, just ID, however I did join as it gave discounts on food drink and gambling! Had a few lucky spins on the roulette to end a great night, we'll definitely go back.

As regular visitors to the Alea,I have to say its Glasgows best casino,and biggest,plenty tables and machines to play,just remember to set yourself a cash limit,its very easy to get carried away.

Great casino good staff jack was awesome but no alcohol free beer options and bottles of coke are tiny 200ml sort it out alea poor show

Had a lovely Christmas dinner with my family on the 23rd Dec. Food was excellent as was the price.our waiter was attentive and courteous .This may just end up being my new regular go to. The best place for fresh air after dinner and with a gorgeous view. Also the roulette and black jack dealers had fab personalities. We were booked for 5pm and it was quiet. But all staff made eye contact and a hi and a smile. Well done staff. We left with a full tummy and empty pockets.

As a group we have been enjoying coming here at Christmas for 5 years now and we have never had any compliments. This year however seemed lacking. The DJ and music weren't the best and people on the dance floor with their drinks spilling all over the floor, resulting in someone falling were a massive put off. The place lacked an atmosphere this year. A few of my friends said their drink (morgans) wasn't very good either. I still rate the alea highly as none of this has been an issue before. We still had a good time despite the problems. The meal was delicious as usual and the price is fantastic.

No class. A beautiful setting, nice interior cant fault that. Friendly staff. But horrendous atmosphere, gone are the days of casinos being a classy affair, full of young neds in trainers and track tops causing havoc. The toilets were like a scene from the starwars bar. Not a friendly atmosphere, almost felt like it could kick off any minute. I much prefer the riverboat casino. Food was terrible too, very overpriced. Been, done it, wont be back.

We had a great night. We won the prize but we were waiting for the cabaret to come on cos we had chosen the cabaret night with the 3 course meal.

Poor quality mirrors in the guys toilet and the lighting doesn't help matters....'The mirror man....'

Really nice restaurant, not what I expected at all Pre theatre menu is amazing value for money The food is top restaurant standard Service is also very good We had the haggis bon bons + goats cheese to start. The goats cheese was baked to perfection. So light For mains we had the pork fillet and roast chicken breast The broth with the chicken was outstanding There is also a fantastic view of the River Clyde Definitely a hidden gem

Staff were super friendly and accommodating. I had a lot of equipment to take in and out and they genuinely couldn't have been more helpful. Credit where credit is due. Keep up the exemplary customer service guys!

Good place for a night out, the food in the restaurant was excellent, well priced and nice views over the Clyde. Plenty of seating around for having a drink , if you join your membership card also gets you a discount on certain food and drinks, so worth signing up.

Nice cocktails, decent guts on the blackjack and roulette tables, kinda got a bit played by the croupier at the poker table cause he told me it was £2 to play then as soon as play started I was told I needed to put down another 2 or forfeit before I'd even seen my hand. Not sure if that's right but if it's £4 in I would be happy to pay that I'd rather just be told up front. Anyway I left the casino £10 up and happily tipsy so it's all good.

Had an Xmas night out there, which had a buffet rather than a sit down meal and actually preferred it that way, food was good, night was great fun, would certainly do it again as well worth the money

Great place to visit and enjoy the food at the restaurant . Staff are very friendly and have try at playing at the casion tables with very friendly staff to show you if your never plays at the Casino.

The receptionist at the desk was so rude and so annoying when I asked them to have a drink and they said ‘’not tonight!’’ I would have understood being left out after an ID check(even if I am 27), instead we got bumped away from premises with no reason. I would have really enjoyed some time in a warm environment more than being bumped back on the streets during the storm

There seems to be a theme around the doormen/bouncers , i can say that we had the same experience , my mate had 4 bottles of beer and i had 6 , he won around £600 and then we were asked to leave with the excuse that my friend was drunk....after 4 beers...really!!! we were pretty shocked to be treated this way , the actual casino is very nice as is the location etc but the games on the fobt machines are pretty poor , i have not heard of any of them....shame about the doormens poor judgement but as i said it has been mentioned many times b4 in other reviews...i doubt i would return...

We had a great night tonight.. popped in after a gig at the OVO.. had amazing food at 12pm cheap drinks, lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be back next time we're in Glasgow

We were told the al -cart menu was 50% off the price so we decided to order the sirlion steaks and when mine came it was tough I felt I was chewing for ages and I thought it would have just melted in the mouth. I did not eat it all my husband finished it. And all the gaming machine had changed and when we played 3 card brag it had went up in price now it cost 13.00 to play you only get 3 games for 40.00 pounds. Then I went to play on the roulette table and the carpet was a mess I was sticking to it where lots of drink has been spill then into the bargan on one spin the ball hovered between 18/29 but it registered 18 the man who was playing the machine got payed out but the table didn't which I felt was not right. As the players didn't get paid out. So if it would have landed on 18 as it registered I would have won 17 chips.

I have dined here on 4 occasions over the last 2 months and can say my experience on each occasion has been very pleasant The staff are delightful polite and service was great. The food was well presented and delicious. The view down the river especially at night is lovely. Nice to see Glasgow glitter. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Barred for winning money poor management there's more casinos better than this place in Glasgow avoid when u have a decent win your membership is revoked

THE BEST DEAL IN GLASGOW! Made a long-overdue return to the Waterfront (Alea Casino) with friends. This has to be the best deal in Glasgow, if not Scotland! Four people get 2xcourses each with two bottles of wine to share for the princely sum of 37 POUNDS! The service is first class and friendly, the food is excellent and the view over the Clyde and the Squinty Bridge is amazing. Highly recommended (even without a deal).

Very relaxed, club-like atmosphere with DJ playing house music. Great and reasonably priced cocktail menu. For the gambling, I highly recommend 3-card poker which is very sociable. Not cheap though!

The staff were spot on. The wine and the food was delicious although my sirloin steak was full of fat the staff Mo was very kind and took it away and I took fish instead. We were offered an on the house drink but we never took it as we had a bottle of wine to share. We would definitely go back and tell our friends and family about it.

There was a guy behind the bar on Friday 6th, like he said 37 years old, beard kinda long hair. BUT this dude made my night, he was funny, great, interactive, and told him I served my bar £1000 worth of venom's, I had the worst night ever and he made my night 100 times better, just by his banter. So fluid and lovely, I would come back there if he was working. He gave that extra care, I don't think anyone else did, and he was genuine. Which was refreshing to see . Defo will come back.
