Was a total waste of money food was depressing I will never visit again . Nice girl though who served us that is why they got a star otherwise they would get a big fat 0 like the microwaved food they served us and the attitude the I assume head waiter gave us also totally unexceptible paid 60 quid to sit there to eat this so called lasagne as you will see in my pic was served like regurgitated muck

Great value. We needed a table at 19:00 on a Saturday night in order to catch a 20:15 train. The manager managed to squeeze us in. The decor is opulent: inlaid marble panels, gobs of hardwood, statues and a wall mural. The staff were efficient, friendly and doting. The food was tasty and appropriately priced. Many of the customers hugged the owner as they left. Apparently, the restaurant has a loyal local following.

Friendly staff, great food, fair prices and the kids pizza making on a Sunday is great fun.

Overpriced and tried to increase the bill by over £20

I booked a table for 6 30 saturday the 18 january .my husband & i were there on time the person who greeted us at the door was unsure of our reservation and we were kept standing at the door over ten minutes we could see a table for 2 was empty and didnt have a reserve sign on it .after we were seated it took a further ten minutes to ask us if we wanted a drink .it was my 1st time in your restuarant and will defininetly be our last

Sarti is just not what it was. Wrong ingredients in dishes, service not what is was, just not a good outing.

Authentic Italian food in the heart of the city. Definitely worth a visit as one of Glasgow's top Italian restaurants.

Food was excellent. Took a while to be acknowledged when entering. Staff just looked but never spoke. Reasonably priced.

First visit to this restaurant and it was from a recommendation. I don't really see anything special about this restaurant, the food was ok, but not outstanding. The service was accepted but that's all. On a return visit to Glasgow would I bother with eating there again, no, there are far nicer places to eat with better atmosphere.

I was lucky to get a table since I hadn't booked in advance but the manager managed to fit us in. All of the food was delicious, the focaccia + cheese went really well with a little balsamic. Tried the tiramisu for dessert and it was the perfect end to the meal.

AVOID.. OVERRATED.. Had a booking for 7.30 last night. Took a while to acknowledge we were there. No table available for us. Were told to stand a bar until one came available. We were given a half glass of prosecco while we waited. 10 min later our table was ready. Food came really quickly must have been sitting in a pot ready to go.. Definitely not made from scratch.. Service poor never came to ask if we wanted more drinks. Had to go to the bar to get the bill as nonone was coming to us... Could've easily walked away without paying. Now I remember why I hadn't been in few years. Will not be back and would definitely not recommend this restaurant. Don't waste your money

The service was terrible, I had to ask for a drink twice. I had to ask for food at least 3 times. I asked for the bill twice and eventually went to the bar to pay my bill. Never again.

  • 4/5 Peter T. 4 years ago on Google
Excellent Italian restaurant with extensive menu. Service was great while not being pushy. Only reason that this visit did not attract 5 stars was the way they packed the all the tables in to one area which felt very cramped. Will definitely visit again.

(Translated by Google) Very disappointing. The carbonara tasted only of garlic and was sticky, the parmigiana was submerged with gravy and the ingredients didn't know much. Prices also quite high. Not even the treatment received by the staff was much. I won't go back (Original) Molto deludente.

Love this place! Eaten at their bath St venue before but this is a more striking venue. Same friendly service. I asked for a pizza topping but with gluten free pasta - no bother.
