Went to Black Sheep Bistro last night for my friend's hen party. They outdid themselves, the food was amazing. Simple food but made just that bit better than anywhere else. Oh & the dessert platters ... huge & so good! Thank you to all the staff who made it a special night.

First time in the Black sheep bistro and won't be the last food was amazing also surprised how busy it was on a Tuesday night I had the crab cakes to start with and they were very nice the wife had prawn cocktail also very nice both were big portions then on to the mains steak pie with mash potatoes and veg again very big portion the wife had haggis neeps & tatties and you guessed it big portion both were delicious we both had a timeout before the sweet a trio of desserts which were very indulgent I would highly recommend this little place

Disappointing, both the food and the service could have been better. Beef olives were pale and the gravy a bit thin, huge pile of mash and some very soft carrots, fish n chips seemed nice enough if unremarkable and desert was the highlight. Service was bland and patchy.

Been here several times and each time I forget how good the food is. If you like good Scottish tastes and fresh flavourful food this is a must. The staff are always attentive and polite, I cannot give this restaurant enough praise for how good it is

Always amazing food, best service and great value for money. The best Cullen Scink in town.! Be prepared for generous portions.
