Very friendly service! Thanks to all the staff who worked on 5 June. My friend and I ordered two starters, one sider and two mains. It was £23.70 per person. We were very satisfied with our meal. My favourite was Mushrooms Al Forno! I've never had such delicious mushrooms ...... highly recommended GARLIC & CHEESE CHIPS also very delicious Pasta section: KING PRAWN & CRAYFISH FRILLY TAGLIATELLth the taste was very salty ...... and the crayfish inside tasted fishy. Not recommended BEEF BRISKET PAPPARDELLE: also quite salty

I loved it. The decor is simple, functional and contemporary. On arrival they gave us a small complimentary lemonade made that day. The food was very good. I had a Christmas 3 course festive menu for £20 and the quantity and quality served made it real value. The staff were very friendly and whilst we went early, by the time we left it was very busy. Clearly popular. Would definitely return.

The must try Mushroom Al Forno starter and later on indulge for authentic pizza and pasta. The Italian pizza at this restaurant is absolutely delicious! The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, and the toppings are flavorful and authentic. The Pollo Della Casa is equally impressive, with tender chicken pieces and a rich, creamy sauce. A must-try for Italian food enthusiasts!

We had a lovely dinner at this location during our trip to Glasgow. Place is absolutely stunning. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the food was exceptional! Lovely selection of Italian goodness. Dishes had so much flavour and it is a lot of value for money.

The lime and berries juice is very nice they serve it as small shot at the beginning. We ordered risotto and meatballs pasta. Really their food is so good. The place is beautiful sunny and has a good view in the center of the city. The staff were nice. I’d love to visit again.

Vegetarian pizza was delicious. Fast and friendly service. Location right next to the bus station was great for a quick meal between our trips.

Spent an enjoyable afternoon here, food is well prepared and tasty. Well worth a visit.

All Covid measures were adhered to, staff were so friendly and of course the food was delicious, all freshly prepared.

We had the lunch 2 courses £10 odds, far too much food would have been better with smaller portions unless you're a greedy one lol

First time here and it did not let me down. I thought it was going to be the typical branch restaurant with normal-towards-low quality of food but it was completely the opposite. Every single course that I had was amazing. The dough of my pizza was thin and crispy, perfect. Desserts... AMAZING! Leave some space to try them. Service was good as well. Highly recommended!

My wife and I have been here many times and we have never came away disappointed. The food is fabulous and the service is always very helpful and friendly. On our last visit, the young waiter that looked after us was exceptional. I wish I could remember his name as he deserves all the recognition he should rightly be getting. One of the best we have had in ANY restaurant. Absolutely first class We will returning here anytime we are in Glasgow and are in the mood for Italian food. Loved it.

Came in for a late lunch, food was kinda below average, carbonara was slightly on the bland and dry side. My partner ordered a bolognese but it was also bland and tasteless. Well, we cant really complain for a £9.90 2 course meal. We also ordered a calamari which was nice though, lightly battered and done right.

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch at this location. Staff was very friendly and the inside of the restaurant looks nice. Food looked very good and was very tasty. Very happy with this place ;-)

We ordered two pasta dishes and a calzone from this restaurant on 21/01/2021. The calzone was OK, however the pasta was horrible - no flavor, stale, small portions, seafood tasted dodgy. The packaging was very snazzy with their own logo and fancy paper, in the end that’s what the customer pay for as well. ASK Italian? I don’t think anybody speaks Italian there. Don’t recommend.

Literally the worst pasta I’ve ever had. Me and my wife both came in as we heard it was awesome here. We both ordered tomato based pasta. Both pastas came out with little to no sauce and zero flavour. We asked for extra sauce which did nothing to help. Flavour was seriously lacking. The chef should really taste before he puts food out. Our sever was an absolute sweetheart though. Overall bummer.

Great meal here tonight. All COVID compliant. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Clearly making the most of this difficult situation they find themselves in. The food was good as usual. A relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Well done.

Another high street chain Italian restaurant. We can't move for them these days. Pizza is a decent size, side salads are tiny. You know the deal with these places, reasonable quality, reasonable prices and agency staff taking your order. Not bad if you're just looking for a no nonsense bite to eat.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great lemonade, but the risotto was tasteless. There was supposed to be asparagus in the risotto (that's why I ordered this dish) but no asparagus, and the waitresses didn't even say anything about being sorry that they were out. Never again. The first picture is what the dish was supposed to be.

First time at Ask. The meal was lovely. Staff very helpful. Decorations were terrific. Look forward to next time.

Busy restaurant, in fact we couldn't get in on walk up first night we tried. Back another time, the high ceilings made it hard to stay warm when the door opened, and it opened often. Service was by a very pleasant waitress who was busy, perceptive and efficient. The food offering is extensive but we felt the quality didn't quite meet the expectations we had, which was a shame as wanted to really enjoy ourselves. The room was full with people of all age groups, many out for Christmas fare in their finery. 3 Stars seems harsh but we just didn't get that 4 star feeling, sorry to say.

Originally, I had a table booked, yet on arrival, no table was available, and I had to wait. Drinks and food were ordered, yet the food arrived first, 10 minutes later, followed the drinks. My food was hard, cold, and tasteless. Nobody bothered to come over and check in on us, and we waited with dirty plates in front of us for half an hour. I am extremely disappointed in the food and the service as I was so excited as I love the Aberdeen and Edinburgh branches. The only saving grace was the flat white cocktail.

Had a lovely meal here whilst away on business. I always seek an 'Ask'. Having coeliac sometimes poses difficulties when eating out at times but I know that I'm more than safe eating here. The way they treat people with specific dietary requirements is wonderful and the dish choices are great!

I was a tad wary after reading some negative reviews, however I'm so glad I chose to ignore them. My partner and I both had different 3 course meals, and all tasted delicious. And the service was 1st class, not slow in the slightest, even though the restaurant was packed. All the waitresses were very friendly, and there's a nice atmosphere. Will definitely return.

Overpriced and long wait times. We had booked a table in advance and still waited 15 minutes before a member of staff came over to greet us and show us to our table. And this was with the restaurant not even half full… You can see there’s a recurring theme in the reviews of the service being extremely slow. And whilst I understand the cost of everything is rising, £20+ for a mediocre pizza and a soft drink is pushing it.

Starter was delicious, service was extremely slow, waited 40mins between starter and mains. Main meal was luke warm and had to leave halfway through as I was going to a show. Wouldn't go back.

Great service, unfortunately disappointing food. If you must go there, please don't order Margherita pizza. Cheap dough, minimum amount of tomato sauce, not fresh (probably shredded) mozzarella, and dried herbs on top.. no single fresh basil leaf srsly. I'm sure Italians would feel insulted if they tried the pizza. Staff was great though, bless you.

Food was excellent restaurant interior was nice. However service was dreadful after being seated waited what felt like an eternity to be served. After receiving our mains we were not checked on and quite frankly felt forgotten about we would’ve purchased more drinks however no server came near us until we were well finished both our meals. Overall tasty food but poor service.

Visited here today on my own after an appointment in Glasgow and was made to feel so welcome immediately. Dining alone can sometimes be daunting but the team here made it not only a painless experience but an enjoyable one. I had some work to do and they were not intrusive but the service was attentive and prompt. Every single one of them was friendly and knowledgeable and the food was spot on but in particular Neil who took the time to talk to me was an absolute delight. Will definitely visit again next time I’m in this neck of the woods.

The place overall is nice, the staff is helpfull and caring, however I was not satisfied with the pizza or antipasto I took. They were not as good as I expected. I am not saying that this place is not nice or good, I'm just saying that if you're looking for an italian place to eat I think this place does not do justice to it.

Wide selection of food from pizza to pasta, as you'd expect. Food was presented well and very tasty. I would have liked if the pizza was a little bigger. Service was good and prompt. I don't like having to do it myself on the phone though, that's just personal preference but I feel it took away from the occasion and atmosphere.

Everything was delightful! The pasta is fresh and you have a wide selection of tasty flavors. The presentation of the dishes is just lovely! Plus the restaurant decor is adorable

They don't accept cash , gawd knows why , some old folk haven't got mobile phones and don't know what a QR code is, you need to start accepting cash again like you did before pre COVID ( that's the only reason l can think of that your not accepting cash.

Food was nice but we prefer family owned genuine Italian non chain restaurants. Reasonable prices and good portions. The staff here make the experience great. Attentive, friendly and service with a smile. I would definitely eat here again.

Good experience with ASK Italian. We both got pizza as a main and had shared a bruschetta to start with. All very satisfactory and as expected. I.e. no greater experience, but a nice meal. The staff was also very friendly and helpful when the online ordering didn't work for us. Note though that a lot of the pizzas gad chicken as the main meat ingredient, which is not that common on Italian pizzas, but perhaps this is a Scottish preference. Would recommend as a decent meal.

Food was excellent, we both had pizza which was both large enough to fill you up yet did not feel heavy on the stomach. Ingredients all tasted very fresh. Big shout out to the staff who were all incredibly nice and VERY hard working. The place combines a nice bright open environment, not too noisy and some good little corners to sit and watch the world go by.

Couldn't fault this place. Even though it was so busy the waiter did an excellent job and the food was very good.

The service was good but the food less than average. A thin and dry pizza garlic bread and the pasta carbonara, although tasty, soon cooled and became stodgy. Wouldn't use a chain as a rule but weather dictated it's closeness. Wouldn't recommend or return.

Tasty food but very slow service. Even when you tell the staff several days ahead the precise time you're going to a concert at the venue opposite them, it still took them half an hour to serve one course. One couple near us had to take most of their meal to their event in doggy bags because of the terrible service.

The Olive Garden of the UK. Pretty bland and unappealing fare, though the quality of the good is fine. Not a ton of vegan options. What made this visit exceptional was the staff. They were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Great award winning food. Lots of little tasty freebies. Prompt friendly service. Clean and open atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Strawberry Gin is amazing. Lots of fabulous traditional Italian dishes to choose from. I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again. Gelato here is the real deal.

We popped into Ask Italian for a light lunch. On arrival we were shown to a window seat which was great for people watching, supplied with menus and a short of very lemony delicious lemonade. The waitress came back a few moments later to take our order. As we wanted a light lunch we asked for one pizza but split between the two of us. After a short period our pizza was served already split and on two separate boards. We selected a mushroom pizza and it had a nice light base and had plenty of topping. It was an ideal amount for the two of us, tasted great and supplied very quickly. I would recommend Ask Italian.
