The food was delicious. But our waitress Anusha was absolutely amazing, so helpful, attentive and on the ball. I thought she was wasted there and guess what she is doing Her masters in Artificial intelligence

There are few places that capture the authentic essence of Indian cuisine as seamlessly as Akbar. The menu was really good and generous. We ordered a couple of things but I like Chicken Biryani, Masala and butter chicken. Also, the service from its akbar was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a gastronomic adventure.

Akbar's is known to be the best in Glasgow I wasn't satisfied with this statement It being December it was busy with Christmas parties maybe a bit too busy I was seated at the back of the restaurant My order was Fish pakora very good Lamb chops very good Chicken tikka very good Lamb karahi a bit undercooked Chicken karahi good Hakeem wasn't the right colour a bit yellow should be more brown however taste was good. With handful of nans The problem was the slow service which made the food go cold. And with the Christmas parties there a load of noise and the restaurant was full.

As a self proclaimed indian cuisine expert, I can't help but validate the dining experience I had at Akbar's. I went with a lot of my friends so I got to taste different kinds of dishes. All of them had exquisite taste. The restaurant was spacious and had a classy ambience. 10/10 will go again

Suitable for larger companies, groups of friends or family alike. The atmosphere is made for sharing and conversations. Some meals are amazing. Especially the common Indian dishes we eat in the west. It is a lovely place for Indian food. There is always room even for larger companies. But I recommend calling in advance. Quick service and consistently tasty. I have been here 30+ times and will definitely keep going.

This is hands-down the best Indian place I’ve ever eaten at, and let me tell you, I’ve eaten at quite a few (including in India^^). At first I was a bit sceptical because it seemed slightly pricy, but the portions are HUGE, making the prices not only reasonable, but cheap for what it is! Everything is fresh, tastes amazing, and the staff is very friendly as well. 10/10 would recommend! :)

It's a vibrant place, but the thumping music is really terrible. It's not at all relaxing and nor does it encourage food enjoying. However, the food itself is blinking amazing. So I've been back. And I'll go back again. And the staff are fab. Did I mention that the food is fab? It is. Just kill that cruddy music and it's 5 stars from me.

I Had A Delicious lunch With my Wife and Friend. We was Order seekh kebab and Charsi Lamb Karahi. That was Serve With the Naan. The Taste Was Really Good. Service is Really Appreciable.

Worst butter chicken ever; I've always had butter chicken and also know what an original one tastes like so I'd give there's 1/10 because it was basically tikka chicken spiced cubed that got mixed with some butter and sugar instead of making the proper butter chicken or makhni sauce - this was more of a mac n cheese sauce with chicken tikka mixed with it 😅 just see how yellow the sauce was. Waitress told me it's because its Pakistani not Indian?? So if ur Pakistani and that's how u have it - itsnup to you- but definitely wouldn't recommend it. Lamp chop starters were acceptable though. Meat korma also was mac n cheese lol yellow in colour with some meat inside- I've never had yellow makhnies before and having lots of Pakistani friends I'm nt sure its not because theyr a Pakistani resturant rather than Indian!? Highly recommended authentic Pakistani restaurant !! The food is awesome and prices are decent and reasonable!! The waiter and waitress are very friendly. This is a most have restaurant in Glasgow!!

It's just amazing for any south Asian person specifically Indian/ Pakistani who are just hit by hunger. So, as far as food (cuisine) it's the best across Glasgow because it's rich spices the delicious taste burst in the mouth. Also, wide range of foods to order , ambience is also okay. But price is slightly higher in the side and the location is Easily reachable by any means of transportation. Enjoy the appetite 🥣🍗🫓

Family naan is absolutely the show stopper. Everything tasted really good. Very nice place to dine with family.

Food is amazing. Great portions and quality is on point. A little more expensive than other similar places but makes up for it in quality.

Went here to have food with friends. Starter was good. Had to return the main dish as the chicken was like raw and curry had no taste at all. Ordered the huge family nan to eat with it. Bit pricy as compared to other decent restaurants .
