I enjoyed. The atmosphere was jolly and the service friendly and efficient. A great city centre location and the venue has the appearance of a French brasserie. The uniforms were not entirely as one might expect in France and some of the menu items were not entirely in keeping - Gin and Tonic, Port or Cafe Anericain - but on the whole good value for money and the experience.

Generous sized starters. We had the chicken liver pate and calamari. Next was the tuna Niçoise salad and cassoulet. The salad was a bit disappointing for the price, more salad ingredients would have been better. The cassoulet was tasty and a good portion size but the Toulouse sausage tasted and looked like Matheson smoked garlic sausage. The cassoulet sauce was more tomatoey than I have ever had before, I am used to a white bean sauce. The wine was lovely and we had a cheese board and an old fashioned French digestif at the end. They were both yummy. Total bill including a tip was £100, we shared a bottle of red Corbières. Overall the staff were lovely, atmosphere was nice, very clean restaurant and enjoyable food. I would go back.

We had a really nice experience at Cote Glasgow, and we will go back when in Glasgow again. We went before going to the Theatre. We arrived on time and were warmly greeted, and taken to be seated and were given a choice of 2 tables to sit at. Our server was Kieran, who was professional and had a good sense of humour and was attentive. In fact all the staff were very nice, attentive & professional. The restraunt had a nice ambiance and atmosphere. All the food we had over the 3 courses was very nice. The time between ordering and each course being served, was almost perfectly timed. We had Calemari & Crab Maison for starters. Both were excellent. We had a Fouggasse bread with the starters which was really nice , but could have been a little crisper for our taste and it was a lot bigger than we expected. Fish Parmentier & 10oz Ribeye for Mains with sides of French Beans & Potato Gratin. The mains were very nice. We finished off with Creme Caramel and Praline Crepe. Creme Caramel was enjoyed, but I found the Crepe to be far too sweet for my taste. My only criticism would be about the Optional Gratuity, that was not optional. When we arrived we were told it was payment by card only, which was fine. We enjoyed everything with the meal and our time in Cote, so we wanted to leave a 15% tip, but when I asked if we could add that on to the bill, I was told it was not necessary as there was a 12.5% optional gratuity added already to the bill. It can't be optional if it's already added without being asked. We did not notice this on the bill, as we thought it was good value, and we were prepared to add 15% on top of the bill total for the excellent food and service. If it is optional as it states, then please ask the patrons before adding it to the bill, otherwise it's not optional. having said that the staff thoroughly deserve it. but others who maybe are on a budget might not appreciate it, as there is no mention of it anywhere on the website nor on the menu that I could see. The only place I found it, was on the bottom of the receipt stating the website and service charge. If i had known or been informed, I would have happily asked for it to have the gratuity changed to 20%, but that should be our option. Can't wait to go back.

Good ambience. Food was generally good, loved the mains (steak) and desert (chocolate fondant), but the appetizer was okayish (mushroom pate). Also, the service was a bit slow and staff forgot a couple things, probably because it was a bit crowded. Billing was also a bit difficult, they kept going back and forth because some drinks weren't added.

I personally love the place. Good atmosphere and people who go there are pleasant. Food quality is pretty good, especially for Glasgow standards. Only downside for me is a few members of the staff who I don’t find fitting. But overall I am satisfied with my visits all the time. Do not recommend beef tartare, it’s lacking in flavor and serving. Love vote for quick lunch.

ordered a takeaway arrived on time the fish pakora was stinking and chewy like rubber they defo used frozen fish and defrosted it in microwave. the batter on pakora was all hard as rock and chewy would defo not recommend any of the mixx platter starter. I thought things could not get any better the lamb rogan josh was full of bones and meet very chewy i dont think it was lamb more likely to be mutton meat. The fried rice is cheap long grain rice not basmati and was under cooked . i wish i could write a good review for this place but the food is not worth the asking price This place needs a chef that can cook i would avoid this place at all costs .this is a honest review one of the worst places to eat in glasgow .

avoid at all costs better of buying a frozen curry from Iceland . food went straight to big even the dogs would not eat this which was surprising .. The starter was like rubber and the chicken looked was undercooked . the meal it self was a total waste of money. Give this place a miss plenty of better and cheaper places in glasgow, mother india chicken tikka massala free delivery £8. 50 this place £13.99 and £3.50 delivery. there food is not fit for human consumption. AVOID AT ALL COST YOU WILL BE DISSAPOINTED AND WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO THESE COW BOYS TRY THE REAL INDIANS TEY DHABBA MOTHER INDIA RISHIES ALL CHEAPER AND MUCH BETTER FOOD

Nice place for a relaxed breakfast. My daughter was delighted with the kid's French toast with fruit. I enjoyed the French version of their cooked breakfast. Great coffee. Very friendly service. The kids activity pack with a French language twist was fun.

We popped in here for a brunch before heading home to Edinburgh and we were soo glad we did! First off the waitress who greeted us was fantastic, very friendly and made us feel at home! The latté and the kiwi ginger juice we ordered were both exceptional. I ordered the French breakfast with a side of rosti and it was delicious, the boudin noir was a stand out and the scrambled eggs cooked to perfection. We would love to say we will be back but we found out they are closing soon! So sad but we will be checking out your Edinburgh spot!

Friendly, attentive staff and the food is always what you'd expect: honest-to-goodness, value for money fare, reminiscent of French Brasseries as they used to be. Do try the warm Roquefort salad.....superb.

Normally one of my favourite places for lunch. But after today I very much doubt we will return.. Waitress was lovely. But everything else was very under parr. Such a shame.

First time, ordered French Onion Soup and then Steak for main. Super tasty, the soup wasn't particularly easy to eat with the cheese but I got there! The steak was superb, better than expected and along the lines of some more expensive places not far from them. Overall, recommended.

We chose to dine here after going to the Côte in Woking last month. The restaurant was full which was surprising for early January, but I expect this is due to the excellent quality of the food. For starters we had calamari and a charcuterie board. Both were extremely tasty, although the charcuterie was a little on the chilled side and should really have been room temperature. The mains were steak frites and chicken in a creamy tarragon sauce with dauphinois potatoes. Again both tasted delicious, and the garlic butter on the steak had the most amazing flavour. We ordered a side of tomatoes garnished with basil and a balsamic vinaigrette- so much flavour! Finally came the desserts: creme caramel and ice cream with a hot chocolate sauce. They were amazing! The bill came to £68 and that included two cokes and a large bottle of Perrier. Overall a highly recommended restaurant in Glasgow.

I usually have a really great meal at Côte Brasserie and come here cause the gluten free options are fantastic. However, this time round the service was quite poor. Myself and my friend ordered the poulet grillé, however both received the Breton chicken. When I raised this and said we had received the wrong order, a small pot of mushroom sauce was sent to our table which we had to share between two plates. We did receive a lot of apologies and had one main meal deducted from our bill. It wasn't the experience I usually have at Côte Brasserie and hopefully it was just a once off, as it is one of my favourite restaurants usually.

Excellent lunch although their take on Gazpacho was rather odd. Strangely spiced and hot. Too much chilli perhaps? Anyway we quite enjoyed it. I followed it with fresh haddock in bacon with interesting garnishes. Beautifully cooked fish. We lingered over our wine but there was no pressure in seeing us off the premises. Overall very enjoyable.

During the day the place is an excellent lunch spot, delicious food and excellent menu! The dinner service is just as good - good selection of fine French meals. We loved all our food and drinks but couldn't finish the portions as they were quite generous! We took the leftovers home and weren't made feel awkward about it, which was excellent. I have gone back a few times for lunch since, yet still haven't had the chance to go for breakfast

Trying this place for first time, was going to Mother India but came here after reading reviews. And I am glad we did. We ordered pre-theatre menu(one vegetarian and one chicken) Food was delicious. Mashrooms were creamy and pita bread was soft.Chicken pakoras were nice and crispy, like home made. Main course was no nonsense good food. Naan was warm and soft. Our server Sangeeta was very nice and friendly. She recommended us to try Gajar ka Halwa , a new dessert they are introducing in the menu. It was presented beautifully with vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries. It was the most yummy Halwa i had in a while. 😍 Owner and staff very nice and made the whole experience really rememberable. Loved it and will be back !!

Am not usually a fan of curries (some places make it too spicy) but this place came highly recommended. We easily got parking just outside As it was past 6pm. We had booked in advance and staff were accommodating to us changing our time. The place was clean and staff welcomed us straight away. The place was busy but our table was clean and ready to be seated. We went with recommended curries with adjustments to spice levels for me and family. The chicken pakora starter was well presented and taste was on point (not your typical reheated soggy batter) They have us enough Popadoms and complimentary sauces. The curries were nice and exactly how we asked. The owner (didn’t initially know he was the owner) came over to say hi. He was humble and helpful and reassured us that if we are not happy then we can change any of our dishes. Thankfully we ate everything.
