Very classy surroundings so the perfect place if you have a special occasion coming up. The menu is huge so plenty of options, and every dish we tried was great. Also to say, the cocktails were amazing. I'd come back just to go to the bar! Dessert was actually a bit of a let down for the price (12 quid each), everything is just drowned in chocolate or caramel sauce without really tasting of much else tbh.... So I'd recommend skip dessert and get another one of the excellent cocktails instead!

The food was exquisite, without a doubt the best Pad Thai in Glasgow. The service was as good as the food, they were extremely fast, friendly and attentive, they knew we were celebrating an anniversary and went the extra mile bringing us details.

Went for my daughters 16th Birthday meal as she has been with her friends and wanted us to go. Possibly one of the worst experiences we have had foe a while . Inattentive service. Ordered a mocktail which I managed to finish with a 2 socks from the straw as it was just pure crushed ice after that. Meals ordered fast enough. Starters super small and pretty poor. Main courses better butter the Pad Thai noodles were super oily. Rice was asked for feom 2 different waiters and cane several minutes after the curries came.... We could literally see the waiters having arguments next to the lifts. Not one person came by to ask for drinks or if we needed anything else. Luckily it seemed to be the norm as other tables around us were obviously having same issue. Personally I will not be back. For the price point in this place service has to be much better. Poor food can be forgiven but service standards aren't acceptable.

What a venue! From the moment you walk into the grand entrance reception for the restaurant you are greeted with a friendly, welcoming face. As for the food, it tasted as good as it was presented. The taste of the starter I had set the bar for the rest of the meal. Absolutely outstanding food, service and venue. Definitely will go back.

Was my first Thai experience. Was very delicious. Went with a middle of the road spice. Very good chicken rice. Definitely get the fried egg on top. Had the chocolate bombe for dessert. That is a must. The only down side was waiting a while to get the check after the meal.

We had lunch there. The food was excellent and the service too. I would give a 5* however, we ended up waiting 15 minutes for the bill and pay it. The restaurant was almost empty and plenty of staff members who were chatting and only few of them were really working.

Three people ordered a total of five courses for £72. Overall, I thought this Thai food was average. (Maybe I gave it too much expectation before I get there) Chao Platter, which charges by the number of people, is £10.50 per person. We ordered for two. A total of five snacks. The taste was average and didn't feel delicious. Chicken Tom Yur. The chicken seemed to be chicken breast and the texture was dry. The flavor of the Tom Yum soup was not strong and I didn't even think it was as good as my Thai friend's at the apartment. Sous Vide Beef @anang Curry, I really don't recommend this dish. It's too bad. I ordered the curry, but the dish tasted like Tom Yum Kung. The beef looked like it had been cooked for a long time and the texture was hard and very hard to chew. K Prawn Pineacple Fried Rice, very bland in flavor. Not recommended, not good. Crispy Pork Belly Thai, finally a tasty dish!!! Very tasty pork. The taste is similar to the Chinese braised pork. The vegetables in this dish are also very good, the only thing that I am not satisfied with is that the portion is too small. All in all, I don't think the taste, portion size and price of their dishes match each other. The price deserves better taste and more portions. In addition, due to my carelessness, I did not realize that I had paid an extra pound for "optional charity" when I paid. The waiter didn't remind the customer of this either. I am not happy about this, I am willing to do charity, but only if I am aware of it.

The food here is phenomenal. The sharing platter is a must try as was the chocolate bombe. So much to taste and all the flavours were beautifully complimentary. Even the prawn crackers were supreme. Everything was well seasoned, fresh and delicious. The gin cocktails were extremely good and complimented the food. I'd say everything we had was slightly spicy, but also zesty and sweet. I was extremely pleased with the presentation, cleanliness and service. It wasn't the cheapest meal I've ever had, but it was also worth the money. The portions were the perfect size for three courses. The atmosphere was upscale casual, and the building is stunning. Shout out to our server Ruby, she gave excellent recommendations and was an professional brand ambassador. We will eat here again.

Got vouchers for Christmas last year and finally went. Good selection of food and reasonable prices. We got the sharing platter as a starter and it was delicious. Got the specials for our mains a bit disappointed that you had to order rice or noodles separately

The food is very tasty and the menu has a really good selection. The seafood udon noodles were delicious, but with 19£ quite pricy. That being said, the food is very expensive generally and the portion sizes aren’t big, but you do get a fine dining experience. The service is excellent and the building/atmosphere speaks for itself, so it’s definitely a special occasion kind of restaurant.

Lovely place and interior decorations were amazing. Food was good but had an issue with two dishes that was not as described on the menu. Price was too high for the small portion size.

This was my first time here. The food was great, the atmosphere was relaxed, all the staff were nice. Will be visiting again. We went for the 3 coarse lunch menu. With a couple of add on's prawn crackers and 2 egg fried rice to accompany our main dishes and 2 large wines we paid £84 for 2 people.

Lovely setting located near Nelson Mandela place. Long time waiting to be checked in. One of our group had made their way upstairs after a bit of a wait only to be told to go back down stairs. Drinks order was incomplete. Food was good. Had fishcakes, and seafood curry. Banana fritter was under par, lacking taste. Banana was like mush, and unsure what it had been cooked beside but I would suggest cross contamination. Others in the party had a vegetarian option, which there are plenty of. Overall felt service let the place down, bit rushed. Understandably restaurant was busy which is a good sign but understaffed.

The ambiance is amazing Food is average but when you compare with price it’s not great value! Staff I can safely say did not once smile during the 2 hours we were there.

Fantastic experience here! The food is full of flavour, presented beautifully! Cannot fault one thing about it. Drinks were reasonable. The staff were beyond polite and helpful. They helped with a birthday cake surprise which went down without a hitch! Will definitely be back!

It's a nice, cosy place to dine in with a lovely ambience. Food was good in taste as well, although we would have loved to have it served hot/warm. The main issue was the service as the place seemed quite understaffed to serve all customers, so it took long to see someone to attend us as well as get us what we wanted - a few times forgetting to get us what we wanted. Not sure if it was just that day or it's like that in general.

Went there for a private dining experience which was absolutely a pleasure. The staff were really friendly and met the needs of all requirements. The food was slightly bland and was too sweet for my liking however everything else was top notch. The duck tamarind is probably the best thing on the menu!

We visited on a busy Monday night and had to come back an hour later as restaurant was fully booked which is always a good sign. Both food and service were spot on. The restaurant is really smart, would like to try the 2 seats on the balcony above the restaurant next time if possible.

Service was perfect and food was delicious! It was my husband's 30th and they gave him a cheesecake with happy birthday on it. Lovely personal touch. We will return and recommend to everyone! Thank you! Watermelon cooler is also a cocktail I would recommend.

Good food quality and friendly service. It have 30% discounts until the end of January (need to reserve online) With discounts is really good deal for the food. My favorite food are Pad Thai and Green curry.

Friendly front of house and good cocktails ? building is also lovely with good decor. However, food was below average for the price point and service was slow though, in fairness, also friendly. Food request in online booking was not registered by the kitchen. Acceptable experience for the 50% Jan sales but if paying full price, certainly would not recommend.

Lovely dining experience. The staff are a delight to deal with. They are polite and knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend this restaurant if you like this type of food. PS Check the menu out before you visit too make sure this type of food is for you.

We went here on Saturday 1st August at 15:15 as we were supposed to be getting married and wanted to take our mind off of it not going ahead as we wanted. We wanted to try somewhere new and we couldn’t have picked anywhere better, from how welcoming the 2 girls at reception were and putting us at ease with the new procedures to the service inside the restaurant were top notch. The food and drink were amazing also and I’d go as far as to say that the honey and ginger buck is the best drink I’ve ever had. On the website feedback I mentioned Ryan as his was the face and name I could remember but all the staff we dealt with on our visit were great and a credit to the restaurant.

Had a lovely meal at Chaophraya Glasgow. We were able to sit outside on a beautiful day and the atmosphere was really comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food and cocktails were delicious! With the current restrictions in place, Chaophraya definitely made us feel safe, with a QR code to scan for the menu and tables separated at a safe distance from one another.

Food was pretty reasonable but was very expensive. The wine, which cost nearly £40, was very disappointing for the price.

A very up market atmosphere, with a very modern Thai menu. I had fish cakes to start, and then the Jungle Curry with coconut rice as a main. Both were very good, the Jungle Curry was particularly fragrant in a way I've not experienced before. Service was very polite and fast. I think some of the waiting staff were in training the night I went, as they didn't appear to know which table was which. This is probably the right place to have a special night out for a couple, but not really for solo dining not really catering for families. I didn't see any disabled access to the restaurant, and I would think the tables are too tightly packed to allow a wheelchair to navigate anyway... I might be wrong though. Toilets were unusually positioned 2 floors from the restaurant, and we're tiny.

WOW! The best meal I’ve had in Glasgow. By some way, could not fault any part of the experience, food was exquisite, service amazing, venue incredible... January deal, all food 50% off, starters, main and drinks for 2 for £30! Chaophraya Platter to start, Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Tom-Yum Soup for mains. Unbelievable value, will be recommending to friends and will be back ASAP!!! Edit:- have returned twice since this review, somehow each time it’s got even better!!! Maybe the best food I’ve had in the UK ??

Visited on New year's as it was amongst the few open restaurants. Very posh atmosphere, amazing food, great service and overall good value for money. Portions were well sized. 2 mains w/sides, a salad and a soup were more than enough for 2 people. Definitely coming back!

I had lunch here a month ago. The food was fabulous and the setting really special. The chocolate bomb desert was amazing ( I highly recommend it!). The staff were very pleasant and attentive during a busy Saturday. I'm looking forward to dining there again soon for a birthday celebration. Wishing you and your staff well during this difficult time.
