Food was terrific, had the Korean Fried Chicken with fried rice. Great portion sizes, we were in for lunch so stuck to a small. Great atmosphere, noise level was perfect. The hanging umbrellas are a really cool feature, as are the Korean movie posters. Would highly recommend. Staff were also great.

incredible place, the staff are really kind and helpful and it's straight down from the premier inn in buchanan galleries. i definitely recommend coming here! the interior is very modern and has posters of korean movies on the wall. the food tastes like its homemade!! will definitely be back!

Delicious food with generous portions, great atmosphere and friendly staff! For me who craves Korean food, I have to say that everything here was excellent! Quality price ratio was also great so I would definitely recommend a visit if you're looking for a casual place where you can enjoy good food at a good price!

Nice Korean cuisine with great service. I believe they can do some more Korean Fired Chicken in different flavours in future.

I ordered kimchi soup and potato pancakes. The flavor of kimchi soup was ok but package was terrible. I wanted to complain at Uber eats but didn’t. Potato pancakes was more than not good. We expected real potato pancakes but it was normal flour pancakes. (Dec2020) + I visited here in person. 순두부찌개 밥포함 아니네요…

Always a pleasure to go to this branch of Bibimbap! The staff are always friendly and helpful. I have a peanut allergy and the serve went to a lot of effort to check things for me. Everyone was so wonderful! My boyfriend is Korean, and he also rated todays food and experience at Bibimbap 5 stars~

Recommended. Friendly staff. A little bit sweet compare to traditional Korean food. But it might suit the local preference of Scottish people.

Some people I know rave about it. I wasn't a fan of their Korean fried chicken - if memory serves it was on the bone and fried with skin on it - two things I personally dislike....sadly the only thing on the menu I might have eaten. Still if you're big into Korean food it seems relatively popular....I personally much prefer Silla in the west end for Korean food, new Korean fried chicken dishes might well change that opinion though. (Should add I can usually find Korean food I like in the northeast of China near the Korean border...but I am a fussy sort so my experience might not be representative!)

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Portion sizes were good. We generally enjoyed the food but I personally found the fried chicken very greasy. I would stick to the Bi bim bap or a rice bowl in future. I might head back and give them another try.

The restaurant that introduced me to Korean cuisine. Easily one of the best places to eat in Glasgow. We've been there more than two-figure-number of times and we are still not bored of the food! The chefs are sheer brilliant, staff are extremely congenial and I have personally developed a passion for its amazing ambience. If you haven't eaten there, what are you still waiting for !!??

Arrived at about 12:30,and only waited for a few minutes. Tried a few popular dishes, kimchi soup with tofu, kimchi pancake, fried chicken and hot stone pot rice. All of them are delicious. Kimchi pancake is my favorite, try it!!!

Tasty food with a fairly authentic flavour. Bi bim bap served in hot enough dish but meat and egg already cooked(!??!).

Chanced upon this Korean food outlet for lunch and it was 💯 in taste, authenticity, ambience and service! We had a sundunmujigae (tofu kimchi stew) and eel rice bowl and we gobbled it down as it was so yummy. Would definitely return again to try the other items on the menu!🤗

Best Korean food I've had outside of Korea. The small Korean fried chicken is more than enough for 2 people if you're getting other dishes.

Had a great time at Bibimbap, the ambient music is really great and the food is to die for. The jeyuk bokkeum deobap was perfectly spicy and the grapefruit soju to wash it down with was a nice touch. Probably one of the best Korean restaurants I've ever eaten in

Highly recommend the Sundubu-Jjigae!!! Tteokbokki was great but the sauce for the Korean fried chicken was disappointing. We also had pork belly Gimbap which was okay. Staff were super lovely.

Love this place. Foods was extremely delicious. A hour waited for the table was worth it. Booked advance. Staffs were friendly. Quite a small restaurant with a lovely warm atmosphere.

We had Kimchi bokk-eumbab- Kimchi & pork fried rice topped with a fried egg , Korean fried chicken (medium) with fried rice. Drinks-Soju (original) Small KFC would have been enough for us. Tried orginal soju for first time- didn't like it much. Probably will try one of the flavoured soju next time. Food was overall okay.

From the second you walk through the door there is the most amazing smell! The food was incredible, so good! The staff were super busy as the place was full but very attentive and helpful. Gem of a place.

Honestly, I've been to a few new restaurants this year that I've really enjoyed, but Bibimbap blows them all away! The staff are absolutely lovely, the food made me wish I had an extra stomach so I could eat twice as much (indeed we took leftovers home for lunch the next day!). My husband had bibimbap which was very nice, but nearly mugged me for my bulgogi!!! All the kids (aside from the vegetarian) loved the KFC (Korean Fried Chicken)!!! Can also confirm soju is eminently drinkable, but surprisingly potent! We even bought a yellow umbrella so my daughter and her girlfriend could re-enact K-Drama scenes! Such a good night!

The food was tasty. Love the tteboki (?) and the noodles were decent. Service was very good as my friend & I were in rush to go an appointment so we ate one dish and took out the other to eat on train.

I highly recommend this vibrant and stylish Korean restaurant. The kaleidoscopic umbrellas suspended from the ceiling add whimsical charm to a small but immersive restaurant. Enjoy some of the best Korean barbecue in Scotland here, all served in a modern and classy environment that mixes Korean fantastical cuteness with effortless bohemian chic. I was recommended this place by a friend, and now I recommend it to y'all!

NICE ✨ awesome vibe and delicious food 💫 right in the middle of Glasgow city centre (very close to Glasgow Central). Food portions are okayish but they are all really really yummm 😋. P.S. Chicken cheese bulgogi was my favourite and kind of my comfort food ✨ so... highly recommended 💕

Awesome korean restaurant with really tasty, authentic dishes. Would recommend the japchae (glass noodle dish), bibimbap (gotta have the bibimbap at bibimbap), and seafood pancake. Very good prices for the quality of food. 10 out of 10 would recommend

The food used to be better but still in a good standard. However the service quality is really bad.. Staff doesn’t care customers and they keep chatting behind the bar.. I’m not sure whether they overwork or just ignorant but the quality of service should be better.. Besides, Korean chicken used to be much better please make sure to use good quality chicken because all i got was the skin of the chicken :(

DO NOT USE- Food delayed once via just eat app. Waited but late again with no update from restaurant so I called myself. Got a new delivery time. Late again. No notification. Literally the worst customer service I have ever received. On top of this the delivery that arrived had OVER £20 worth of missing items. The items that were there - a salad had gone warm and gooey, with previously hot noodles going cold and mushy due to the lateness. Further to this 3 MISSING ALCOHOLIC DRINKS that accounted for more than HALF of the value of the total order. I HAVE NOW PHONE THE RESTAURANT OVER 15 TIMES AND NOT ONCE HAS SOMEONE ANSWERED THE PHONE. I have received NO refund and NO correspondence. DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE HUNGRY AND THIRSTY AND WANT TO RECEIVE WHAT YOU ACTUALLY ORDERED.

shame really we love bibimbap and it has always been so good just shocked at the level of service and care today , ordered from just eat vegan section and the meal came with the spring onion pancakes which were full of squid I ate one then contacted to complain firmly to be told that its not on the vegan section then when they found out it was I Was told that there was nothing that could be done about it and that was that. well I have a seafood allergy luckily I noticed this and secondly that is bad service from the staff member involved , that short of service is not acceptable in any means so thought I would highlight this. apart from that I have really enjoyed the food before I am not a complainer by any means but I think something should have been offered for this and the staff needs to learn what customer service is about. Hope he reads that , my message is if this happens to customers offer them money off on dine in like most places do or resend the item becasue it costs much less money and time than a review like this. thank you. :)

Bibimbap was kinda bad it also came cold and didn't have any seasoning. It was plain I really didn't expect it i was looking forward to some korean traditional scrumptious meal but I was disappointed when given this. I recommend other dishes but not this 🤧

Well, the dumplings were excellent! I can only compare them to Ichibans in terms of delicious crispy outer shell although the filling was a little different. They came with a decent soy based dip which added a bit of punchy flavour which I enjoyed. The veggie noodles that I had weren't quite what I was after to be honest. A rather gelatinous experience, not bland but not really the flavour sensation I usually look for in a meal, so I'll try something different if I ever end up there again. Service was ok, but food did come out quickly which is always ideal on a lunch hour and when you can't book a table.

Had vegetable dumplings and fried rice. All lovely. Fair price. Quite a small place but nicely decorated. Liked the music too, all alternative and chilled.

Nice Fried chicken. A bit pricey. The batter wasn't salty enough and lacked flavour. Average experience and taste.

I think LA (and to a lesser degree, Seoul) may have spoiled me on good Korean food, but this isn't bad, it just isn't anything outstanding. It may be as good as it gets in Scotland, so take this review with a grain of salt. Also, the decor of the place itself is very cool.

  • 4/5 Karl J. 5 years ago on Google
Great food, great staff and a really nice atmosphere. We used to get delivery from them but stopped because it used to take so long, but even if it did take a while, the food was always great! Would recommend going in here.

Awesome wee korean place in Glasgow city centre. Tasty food and massive portions (almost a bit big!). Not the cheapest but great nonetheless. Worth a visit if you want something more authentic and different to you high street chain asian restaurants.

(Translated by Google) I'm Korean and I recommend this restaurant to people who want to experience Korean dishes. Especially Korean style fried chicken. It's the most delicious Korean restaurant I've ever been to, even though it's not a Korean-run restaurant. Korean style chicken is recommended for foreigners, but Korean chicken stir-fry is recommended for Koreans. (Original) I'm Korean and I recommend this restaurant to people who want to experience Korean dishes. Loved it. Extremely busy so had to wait for a table, so booking is recommended. The KFC portions are massive and all on bone. We got a medium as well as bibimbap and couldn't finish it. Fantastic. Will return again in future.
