Excellent food. Friendly team. The place is lovely with lots of space inside and also a nice outdoor seating area. Great coffee, sandwiches, egg dishes and sweet bakes, only thing missing is some savoury pastries. I'd love it if they had baked rolls or croissants.

Well this was one of the best we have been to in a while, the food was just amazingly brilliant. Such good quality and great value. Slightly confusing how to order but got there and I will say its a highly recommended place to go and enjoy the ambience and above all the food!

Great brunch. Lovely pastry dessert section as well. They change up the menu every so often so it's nice to try something different when you go back.

A brilliant neighbourhood place for Breakfast, Lunch, coffee and tea. We went in for breakfast and it was brilliant. The Meaty Breakfast was perfect, and not stupid in size. Everything on the plate was cooked to perfection. The Cure yer Heid smoothie was delicious. Plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans, lots of lovely baked goods, also suitable for V&V too. Lots of lovely local art on the walls, all for sale. The staff were friendly, engaging and you got the clear feeling they enjoy their jobs. I'll be back when in Glasgow. Go out of your way to have a breakfast here, it's fantastic.

Edit: 3 years after first visit I am here again. A single thing hasn’t change. Beautiful vibe, decor, staff is the friendliest! I tried Salmon Royal this time! Wow! Such a great meal and the salmon is mouthwatering! I added a side of mashed avo and their homemade beans 😍 Portions are generous and full of flavor. Went to Singl-end for breakfast and had the most amazing variation of “shakshuka”. I travel a lot for work and try to find new places for my food indulgence and this is becoming one of the top on my list. Warm and welcoming staff, pleasant interior and good cleanliness! Dog friendly, small but cute outside seating area, great selection of drinks and delicious home made food. Definitely must go when in Glasgow!

6 stars would be good 👍 What can I say.... what a place ... on the back of their baked eggs I have now invested in a pan to make my own haha won't be as good but I have to try!! Place is fantastic and when we were there it was a Sunday morning and had a great buzz of people, really chilled and relaxed. Once we had finished the young man on the desk asked if wanted to use the ramp at the back as I am on crutches just now recovering from a surgery, he didn't have to do this but the fact he did was fantastic customer care and engagement We will definitely be back...

Menu is varied and has really good options. The food was really tasty. The cake selection looks amazing too. Really great brunch option where you can book (most other places do only walk-in)

Very disappointed in the poor treatment of staff. Money is clearly the only priority for the company. Will not be back.

Had a lovely late lunch here, I had the meaty baked eggs and it was so tasty, came very nicely presented with delicious bread. No picture sorry was too tasty! then we all had cakes, I had the peanut butter brownie which I would definitely recommend. coffee and wine good too. a must visit.

On arrival we were told we had to make a reservation as all seats inside were taken, despite some being empty. We went outside and called to make a reservation and were told it was walk only and table cannot be held. So moments later we walked back down and were given a table inside by a both er member of staff. Service is questionable. However Food here is fresh and different in the sense that its decent and authentic. Not processed. The hot drinks came in a glass which was slightly inconvenient as its hot, a handle would be more practical.

Over-portioned, over-priced, and decisively average (meals for two people assessed) Would've preferred quality over quantity especially at the price point set. Doesn't deserve to be top 10 Glasgow on TripAdvisor/Google, maybe Top 50 at best. 3/5.

My friend and I planed to have a light meal, but the portion was HUGE, turned out we didn’t need dinner after. We ordered a sandwich, black pudding, soup of the day, and Bloody Mary. The celery and strong black pepper in soup made it quite similar to Bloody Mary. Interestingly I was like tasting both hot and cold version of Bloody Mary. This place is well decorated, even the restroom is pleasing. It’s somewhere I want to go often.

Great breakfast spot with cute decor. We went around 10am on a Friday and there was no line up. The scone was fantastic, as well as the meaty breakfast. I particularly enjoyed that the beans were homemade and not the canned ones. There was also a slight spicy kick to it. It was very delicious. The large portion allowed for sharing.

Dog friendly 🐶 Fantastic breakfast this morning at Singl-end. Excellent service from start to finish. Extensive menu ordered via your phone. Payed parking outside, pick up Glasgow Council scratch card style parking vouchers inside and get an hours parking for £1. Dog friendly all day every day.

Fresh & tasty food with generous portions & cosy dog-friendly environment. The food ordering experience could be improved, though. No QR code (cumbersome SMS or type-it-yourself process) and no photos in the menu.

Hadn’t been to Singl-end for a long time and I’d forgotten how consistently good it is. Food is fresh, hearty and healthy. Service is efficient and friendly. The prices have increased since my last visit but I’m happy to pay for such a quality experience. Verging on luxury but if you can afford it’s a great place to eat. Bonus points for the amazing cakes and being dog friendly

Excellent cooked breakfast and good coffee. Welcoming and friendly service, though they had a lot to do when we arrived. Perfect spot for an extended Brunch near CCA, Art School and downtown Glasgow. The cakes were a bit too sugary for our taste, but everything else delicious. Highly recommended.

Nice restaurant with delicious food and an immense variety of offerings. The staff is friendly and the food is flavorful in every bite. Their coffee and coffee are delectable. I would recommend the Rabbie's eggs. The place is mostly fully booked, so a reservation is recommended. We had to leave once as they were fully booked.

Great breakfast spot. First visit and hopefully won’t be out last. The full breakfast was high quality and the poached eggs on toast were perfect. Such a lovely restaurant which was very busy for a Monday morning. Lucy and the rest of the staff were all so welcoming

Absolutely Incredible spot that I cannot say enough good things about. To put this in perspective, I was in Glasgow for 3 days and happened upon this place on the first day. I was hooked from day 1 and returned each day I was there. Before I fly out back home, I am definitely going to try to get here once more. The breakfasts are amazing and I highly recommend their full Scottish breakfast. They do have a wide assortment of dishes for whatever you may be craving, as well as a plethora of sweets if you're just popping in for cake and coffee.

This place is located right across to the Guest house we stayed at lower level of the building, stairs to walk down, the entrance is not obvious, but you will get to see it when their sign is up for the day. Good choices of dishes menu for breakfast and lunch. The staffs are friendly and welcoming, we don't feel awkward even this was our frist time to visit place like this. Various choices of cold and hot drinks, as well as desserts. The size is good, my husband rarely left anything over on plate, but he couldn't finish his dish this time. *Note to foreigner(esp. Folks from Canada), tips is not mandatory as per say, but my Scottish friend said that 10% on top and left it on table in cash is kinda courtesy & appreciation.

Love this hidden gem. So glad I found it on Instagram before visiting Glasgow. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, telling us about the different blends of coffee and bread. The atmosphere ad decor is lovely. The food was so tasty. I had the veggie baked eggs which I would recommend. Will definitely be back when in the area.

Good bread and a wide variety of impressive baked goods. Unfotunately the beans were cold and altogether such a small portion, coffee really not done well (tasted burnt). Overall an Ok breakfast place. Shame it didn't deliver. Inattentive service (felt ignored). But definetely friendly. In summary Signl end needs to improve on some of the smaller details to become well rounded.

Have to hand it to the team at Singl-end. During a seemingly unending and tedious restriction hampered COVID pandemic they've managed to maintain their now much needed services. Had been keen to visit before all of the madness but only got the chance now, and to be honest, the way they've handled the restictions absolute did not take away from the experience. Ordering and paying from your phone cuts interaction between staff and patrons, but we didn't feel left out in the cold. Staff were lovely and friendly and service was quick. Food was delicious! I had smashed avocado with chilli topped with halloumi and poached eggs with chimichurri. Fair hit the spot. Unlike some places I've visited where the environment has been affected by the pandemic restrictions, this place has managed admirably and because of that I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Hands down best cafe in Glasgow! Industrial artistic designs with indoor and outdoor seating. You need to see their toilet as well! (Didn’t post photo to keep the surprise). Food portion is generously HUGE! Excellent value for money and boy their sourdough was nice and fresh! They’ve also got some souvenirs to purchase. Table with outlets, good for working. Not sure if they have wifi. Staffs were brilliant! Please just come!!!!

Ordered the tahini cauliflower and the taste was just amazing. They’ve elevated the humble vegetable to a whole new level! My friend’s steak on toast was also delicious. Service was very slow and they had a strange system of having to wait your turn even if you were ready to order before other tables, so have taken one star off.

Cannot recommend this highly enough. As soon as you step inside, the smell of home cooked food hits you. You know you’re about to be nourished. Service was polite, caring and fast. I had a lovely porridge bowl which was warm and wholesome, the portion was very generous and the coffee was second to none. So good I came back again for lunch and had the full English breakfast. Great at catering for vegans and gluten free as well. Do not miss out.

The place was hidden from the touristy main street and a (tiny) bit hard to find, but it was so worth it. From the cake displayed at the entrance to the decorations on the walls and table it was the perfect atmosphere for brunch. The variety of menu was excellent and the food (I chose the Everything) was amazing. Glad I followed all the great reviews online, we weren’t disappointed!

  • 4/5 Kathryn G. 4 months ago on Google
Been here lots of times and the food is always really good. I've been served by a girl with blue hair a few times (sorry I don't know her name) and she is amazing, super friendly and attentive. Lovely waitress!! Although, the last time was maybe a bit of an exception to this rule as my friend ordered what I had the week before, the fritters, and hers was completely different and greasy. A different chef maybe? Mine the previous week was amazing in comparison.. so that was a bit odd. And the cakes were really dry, maybe a few days old. Pretty disappointing. Which is unusual for this place. Staff forgot about our drinks. We finished our food by the time we got them and our original waitress completely ignored my friend. So it was a pretty surprising experience compared to the many other times I have been and really enjoyed it.
