Gone
seriously
downhill.
We
have
stayed
and
eaten
here
a
few
times
over
the
years
but
this
time
was
very
poor.
The
breakfast
is
bad
and
comes
across
as
very
cheap.
It
is
also
served
in
a
fairly
dark
and
deathly
silent
room.
For
toast
we
were
served
three
slices
of
lukewarm
bread
in
a
broken
basket
that
the
waitress
told
us
to
be
careful
with.
There
was
a
continental
buffet
with
4
croissants
and
one
Danish
pastry
when
we
entered
around
10:30.
The
croissants
went
quite
quickly
and
more
pastry
wasn’t
put
out
until
10:55
and
then
promptly
removed
for
end
of
service
at
10:59.
The
water
and
orange
juice
were
empty
for
a
lot
of
the
time
too.
There
were
no
bowls
for
the
cereal,
my
wife
asked
for
one
but
one
never
came.
This
was
all
when
there
was
3
staff
for
around
4
tables.
The
cooked
breakfast
was
all
very
dry
and
there
were
no
beans.
It
also
included
half
a
slice
a
haggis
and
half
a
slice
of
black
pudding
which
is
incredibly
cheap.
The
rooms
are
ok
but
I
suspect
not
as
nice
as
they
think
they
are.
The
bottom
of
the
shower
was
a
silver
metal
tray
that
looked
like
the
top
of
an
autopsy
table
you
would
see
on
a
crime
drama.
The
rooms
all
have
names
rather
than
numbers
which
seems
pretentious
and
gimmicky.
At
check-in
we
were
asked
if
we
wanted
to
upgrade
for
£20
which
we
did.
We
were
then
given
a
room
immediately
above
the
Private
Dining
area.
At
night
there
was
some
sort
of
party
that
went
onto
midnight
with
people
shouting
in
the
corridors
until
12:30.
I
had
phoned
to
complain
and
was
told
the
people
had
paid
until
midnight
and
the
manager
would
speak
to
me
in
the
morning.
In
the
morning
the
person
on
the
check-in
desk
said
they
were
the
manager,
apologised
and
gave
us
a
£50
refund
plus
the
upgrade
fee.
I
don’t
think
that
really
makes
up
for
the
noise.
Had
the
room
been
£50
cheaper
I
still
wouldn’t
have
been
happy
or
booked
the
room
had
we
have
known.
There
are
much
better
hotels
in
Glasgow
that
are
much
cheaper.
I
would
recommend
staying
in
one
of
them
instead.
We
won’t
be
back.
