Michelle,
on
reception,
was
lovely.
Despite
the
hotel
being
very
busy
as
we
checked
in,
she
was
calm,
cheerful
&
helpful,
even
taking
the
time
to
upgrade
our
room.
The
dining
room
staff,
young
man
(sorry,
didn't
get
his
name),
was
polite
with
just
the
right
amount
of
attentiveness
The
room
was
clean,
modern,
and
not
fussy.
My
only
complaint
was
the
food.
We
had
dinner
in
the
hotel.
My
steak
was
cold.
It
was
returned
&
came
back
warmer.
However,
my
ice
cream
Sunday's
chocolate
flake
had
a
large
bluebottle
fly
frozen
to
it!
Yuk!
I
would
have
expected
that
the
replacement
dessert
would
have
then
been
complimentary,
but
alas
not.
As
we
were
tired
after
a
long
journey
&
dashing
off
to
see
a
concert,
I
didn't
want
the
stress
of
complaining,
though
probably
should
have.
I
do
appreciate
that
things
are
not
always
great
when
the
hotel
is
extremely
busy.
My
husband
did
enjoy
his
meal,
with
no
issues
The
only
other
niggle
was
the
reduced
selection
for
the
continental
breakfast.
No
selection
of
continental
breads,
ham
or
cheese
you
would
normally
expect.
There
were
croissants,
chocolate
pain,
muffins,
crumpets
As
expected
though,
the
full
English
breakfast
buffet
was
up
to
its
usual
standard.
Overall
satisfied
customer.
Just
the
food
....
