Ordered in advance, team at Piece were very accommodating making a group order for delivery to the hospital and it arrived on time with no issues. Sandwiches and salads were delicious and good portions

Went here today after a long time. Menu has changed and my favorite sandwich is gone. Ordered something similar and got horrible dry bread that was nowhere near as nice as it was about a year ago. There was a random queue outside with confused punters trying to figure out who is next. Not what is used to be and every bit as expensive!

Used to go in here everyday for coffees and lunches but after the new manager has started, the staff's attitude is terrible and the coffee is cold and tasteless. I have given it another few go's just in case it was a bad day and they have let me down every single time. You're made to feel like you're bothering them and if you, heaven forbid stand in the wrong place, the manager shouts at you very aggressively. Disappointed as used to love this place.

Really felt uncomfortable by the staff members yesterday who made it very obvious they were annoyed with me as I was on the phone asking my sister what sandwich She wanted, he gave his coworker an awkward stare to try and embarrass me. Highly unprofessional. I understand if i was holding up a que but I was the final customer and there was no need to be so rude. Today I went for coffee and was served by a girl who again had an attitude problem when I asked for sugar she she just handed me over a few and when I politely asked for a stirrer for my coffee told me rudley there was “no stirrer” and gave me a blank stare. So I left with my coffee. The atmosphere and customer service at this place is really awful for a below average place. The coffee I was served was milky and no flavour and for that l had to endure so much of attitude. I’ll be sticking to other coffee places within the area. The Staff really need to learn some good manners and customer service. A smile a being polite to your customers goes a long way.

Fun sandwichmongers in the heart of Finneston. My Bahn Mi was delicious and my friend loved her In Your Fez. Bread was yummy and my Americano was smooth and fresh. Extensive menu with good vegetarian options. Cool interior, and a nice and lively staff (also great music selection). Fantastic breakfast deals if you get here early enough. Will 100% be coming back.

Described as ‘Britain’s biggest contribution to gastronomy,’ sandwiches have gone upmarket in recent times and you can find many a sandwich shop to cater for all those in search of a more filling experience ! (pun intended 😁) Piece, has an interesting and trendy selection of mouthwatering food which should satisfy the tastebuds of most. Created at the point of sale, the food is fresh and fun. Well worth a visit. (There is even an app for your bap! 😆)

Sandwich was nice enough but seemed a bit overpriced for what it was. Probably wouldn't go back.

Sack off the chemical filled tuna n cucumber sandwiches from Tesco and grab something from here instead. Best sandwiches in the UK. Soup changes daily and is usually quality too. Great atmosphere and good chat from the staff.

Every time I've been in here the staff have been lovely and all smiles, even behind their face masks. There's always a good selection of treats, coffee, drinks, and no matter what sandwich you get, it'll be a beast. My go to is their club sandwich - chicken, ham, avocado, salad & mayo. Just look at this absolute unit of a sandwich... They've stuffed a whole cluckity cluck in this! 😂

  • 5/5 Tania S. 5 years ago on Google
Walked in joking about it being the best sandwich shop in the UK and left feeling like we KNEW it was. Hard to get a sandwich so right, but the little things they add in that you'd never think to try make a world of difference.

Unfortunately ate my sandwich too quickly to take a picture! A group of us came here over the weekend and honestly was so impressed - great selection of sandwiches to choose from and very generous fillings - paid £4.95 for the Cesar and it was HUGE - freshly made, delicious and would recommend visiting if you’re in the area!

Always decent sandwiches with high quality ingredients. Price is a touch high and, as such, it's not a regular haunt. More even distribution of sandwich fillings across the bread would make for an easier eat. But still tasty

Oh My God! These sandwiches are absolutely amazing. They are packed full to the absolute brim and so tasty! We have been back twice already since our first visit which was only about two weeks ago!

Popped in for lunch after being given a glowing recommendation. Went for the NY Deli and the person serving suggested the white bloomer bread which I went with. Worked very well with the ingredients, very filling and tasty. One of the best sandwiches I have in a while. Staff all friendly, service quick and efficient. An easy five stars. Photos don't do it justice.

Delicious. I had the Ban Mi baguette, a real taste blast and with a bit of a ZING, as well as a coffee and some crisps, and sat outside in the sun. Very lovely staff as well.

Fantastic little coffee stop, opens at 8 (maybe earlier), smile and a good welcome. Great choice of sandwiches and the coffee was out of this world and great value.

Some staff too long to serve you. But overall the food was OK. Sometimes bits were unavailable and they don't tell you. They just substitute it and expect you to pay full price whi h is already extortionate.

Fancied a change from giving huge multinational conglomerates all my cash so piece has provided me with several delicious breakfast rolls and copious amounts of coffee. I also hear their lunch / sandwich options are excellent so I'll be back, maybe even today.

Popped in for a sandwich on a whim and was not disappointed. Super tasty sandwich and excellent bread. £6. Ate it so fast I forgot to take pictures.

Popular long-standing sandwich shop (since 2008) but the hype seems to have died off a bit. Opens at 8am but no breakfast options, the sandwich was nothing special and it's surrounded by places now serving equally good if not better coffee.

What can I say about this place except that it's great and I could eat here every day. Was on vacation from California and had just left a pub down the street and I was hungry. Walked into this shop and checked out the menu and ordered the Rueben. Took it to go and ate it in a park down the street. The sandwich was great, very fresh, spot on. Couple of day later my wife and I came in and had the New York Deli and the Coronation. Both were great. When we left Glascow to head back to Edinburgh we got more sandwiches for the train ride. This place has got the sandwich thing down. Fresh ingredients and an awesome staff. Place is laid back and you feel like your home. Highly recommend this place and would make this my first stop when we're back in town.

Been in 3 times. Customer Service could be warmer. Turning your back to a paying customer just because a regular comes in isn't on. Will not be buying from there again.

Best sandwichs in Glasgow by a country mile

  • 4/5 Ian C. 4 years ago on Google
Now this is a proper sandwich shop. I supposed it should come as no surprise that Piece is something of a Glasgow institution. It has been extraordinarily popular since it opened in 2008 and it's earned its popularity by consistently getting things right. Here at the flagship store you can really expect something special for your lunch.

Love this place. Great choice of sandwiches and the wholemeal ciabatta is the business. Recently moved further away from it so I can't go as often, slightly heartbroken haha!

  • 5/5 Elizabeth C. 4 years ago on Google
Wide selection of breads, rolls, meats and extras. Each sandwich made individually to order. There is a wide range on offer displayed on boards or you can make up your own combo. Soups and cakes accompanied by fresh roasted coffee. Superb!

  • 2/5 Scott H. 4 years ago on Google
If you're there for a good sandwich, then stop in. But maybe continue walking if for anything else. Staff are unbelievably condescending and drive home patter usually at multiple customers who are already uncomfortable enough with their over the top vibes.

  • 5/5 Steven B. 5 years ago on Google
Best sandwiches in Glasgow without a shadow of a doubt. Service is cheeky but efficient so I always leave with a smile on my face. Fresh coffee that is roasted at a sister shop is always the perfect start to my morning. Cannot recommend this place enough. Side note, the manager is quite easy on the eye ?

I was in the area and my friend wanted her caffeine fix. Wasn't sure what to expect because we just yelled the closest well reviewed coffee shop. Pleasantly surprised. It's a super cute little hipster coffee shop.

Note to the guy with blonde hair who I paid my bill to today 5th of July...When you ask for feedback don't get all "huffy" when the reply is constructive and well meaning. I had the Pastrami Special and I said to you that I thought the balance of the ingredients were wrong. Couldn't taste the Pastrami nor the Gouda as the coleslaw was overwhelming. So either cut down on the coleslaw or increase the pastrami and gouda. Or rename the sandwich the Coleslaw Special. On a positive note the soup and coffee were good. And I'll be back as I'm not that petty.

Order a Scottish breakfast sat at a table which was unstable. Only thing was good was the beans. Roll was slump on top of the beans. Very small plate. Milk for the t was off. Sugar was dry. Not a great place to eat. Defo won't be back. Ask for bill waited for good five mins. If I left without paying they won't if notice

When I complained that my coffee was lukewarm, the server, a very rude person called Shaun told me that it could not be made hot and refunded the money. I was surprised at his dreadful attitude, and his refusal to accept that the coffee was lukewarm. Ii have had great sandwiches here many times but could not recommend the coffee. There are lots of alternative places around with friendly staff. Suggest that Shaun is sent on a customer care course.

The original Piece. Pastrami Special ...nuff said!

  • 1/5 G G. 4 years ago on Google
The food is great but I just feel that the staff don't really know what they are doing, can talk condescendingly to customers, impatient when you are trying to look at the board to decide and when you are wanting to pay let others jump in front. Need better trained I think. Edit- the first time was quiet and I was the only one waiting and getting rushed, the second time my friend was patiently waiting to pay and the woman shouted to another customer who was sitting enjoying their food and demanded that they pay first which upset my friend and the other customer.it was the same blonde woman each time. I won't be coming back, sometimes it just takes one member of staff to let the team down. Everyone else seemed cool tbh. I also notice a few customers complaints on this about the same "arrogant woman" as one customer said so its not as if I'm the first person to tell you or that this is news to you. It's ashame because I would have ate there ever day and my friend occasionally and I'm pretty sure the other customer and his lady won't be coming back either. Customer service is key.
