I came across this cafe's Instagram account where I saw that they can make personalised cookies. I've ordered some from them and they were absolutely incredible, the design was so spot on and the taste was so good! I've ordered to packs of different designs and they made it all overnight! I decided to collect the biscuits myself and spent some time in the actual cafe, the environment was really nice and the menu was superb. I will be coming back for some brunch for sure! I am now planning a housewarming party and will be ordering a big batch of biscuits! Thank you!

Great Cafe that never disappoints. Been here a few times and it's probably one of the best cafes I've been too. The menu is outstanding and the food is always great with lots of vegetarian and vegan options, the staff are always friendly and welcoming (Nina served us this week she was fab). If you've never been here a make a point to go 10/10 from me.

Really tasty food with amazing options for vegetarians too. The curly fries were amazing, as was the French toast. Service is very friendly and helpful. Would recommend when in Shawlands.

Love this place, food is always delicious and decent sized portions. I had the French toast with Ham, Cheese, & a fried egg, I'd definitely get that again. Got a flat white for my drink which was perfect.

Me and my Fiancรฉ visited the Brooklyn Cafe today for the first time and couldnโ€™t be happier with both the outstanding service and top quality food. We were served by Mo who made sure our visit was both comfortable and truly enjoyable and never stopped smiling. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying more from their menu which has so much to choose from. Thank you again!

Super accommodating with our baby and buggy. The staff were so friendly with him. A really pleasant experience. Sid, our waiter, was exceptional. Will definitely be back! Really recommend the Lotus tiffin too - delicious!

Wow, the food was amazing! Had the Big Vegan Breakfast and it was incredible - great value for the price as well. Kept me full for the entire day ๐Ÿ˜… The servers were super kind. Ended up here by chance on my last day in Glasgow, but would totally return.

My husband, 3 year old daughter and I had lunch at this lovely cafe today. Our waiter Sid was incredibly helpful and friendly. Our friend and her small children also joined us and the staff couldnโ€™t have been nicer. They were very helpful and made us feel welcome (which isnโ€™t always the case with 2 toddlers and a baby!) The food was incredible too. They had loads of veggie and vegan options as well as a great kids menu. The cakes are amazing! We will defo be back!

A family-owned Southside institution. We have been coming for years to Brooklyn Cafe. They do simple, honest dishes that fill your stomach and make you happy. Unpretentious food and lovely service. We especially like the grilled cheese sandwiches. It's a bit of a guilty pleasure of ours. They have recently updated their menu and added some healthier options, which is great. We tried the salmon salad and were very happy. Our friend had the vegan sandwich and thought it was one of the best sandwiches he has ever had (he is from San Francisco, so probably not that easy to please). Keep it going, Brooklyn Cafe!

This is the best cafe I have been to for breakfast. I go here at least once every month. The food is great. The tables and area are basic but it's all still good. Friendly staff and if you want to make a change to the menu then they are really helpful. On occasions i like to come here with my wife and have breakfast and watch the world go by.

Sad to find out they don't do the pancakes anymore. The meat free options were nice though - tried the Vegan Tower, the flavours were balanced, mildly spicy. Regrettably, through it may have been a honest mistake / my bad luck, the cafe also joins a string of eateries that has attempted to over charge me, (even if it's just a small amount), over the past few days.

The best poached eggs Iโ€™ve ever had! The hollandaise sauce is straight from heaven. The cappuccino (and coffee in general) is fantastic. The service is always exceptional and one of the best things is that this place is so consistent. Never had a bad meal from here. Sorry to say I havenโ€™t tried much else because I canโ€™t bring myself to order anything else when the poached eggs are this good! My husband loves the veggie breakfast. My dad loves the Scottish breakfast. If youโ€™re looking to try somewhere new, this is the place! Wish I could give more stars. *****

On vacation for the week and we were killing time waiting for our travel companions. I took a few wrong turns and ended up just stopping to figure out where I was. Stopped in for lunch while I got my bearings and had the Scottish Grilled Cheese with black pudding and haggis and it was delicious and so filling. We enjoyed it so much that we made a special trip back two days later for breakfast with our traveling companions. The coffee was delightful, especially the Biscoff Latte and the food was substantial in serving size and phenomenal in taste. Our waiter Sid was attentive, patient, and so welcoming. I could not recommend this place enough. Sometimes itโ€™s the places you donโ€™t plan on when traveling that become your favorite part of the trip.

We really enjoyed our meal in The Brooklyn. I had avocado and poached eggs on toast and my partner had scrambled eggs and salmon. Sid, our excellent server, was helpful and attentive and although the cafe was busy (unsurprisingly, given the quality of the food) we didnโ€™t have to wait long for our food. Pay this place a visit. Apart from the delicious hot food thereโ€™s also a tempting array of cakes and pastries. A winner.

Wow what a place! The food is amazing! Everyone is catered for including our dog Fingal with Susan Special from the doggie menu. What made our experience extra special was Sid who made us feel like regulars bordering on friends (donโ€™t want to get ahead of myself eh?!) despite it being our first visit and only my Son and Daughter in Laws 2nd! What a place, what food, what a guy! Gutted we are on our way back home to Manchester!

Popped in for lunch and the service from our waitress was wonderful. She was incredibly polite and friendly, and nothing was a problem for her. Ordered the tuna panini which was lacking in the mayo portion of the order, but otherwise very enjoyable. The Brooklyn Benedict was a hit. Highly recommended.

We found this place on trip advisor. The reviews were great and the breakfast didn't disappoint. Our waiter was friendly and told us the history of the cafe, saying it's the best place he has worked. We loved this cafe and it will be our go to for breakfast every time we visit Glasgow in future.

Food was lovely, all staff very welcoming. Sid was our server and he was amazing, funny, making us feel welcome, nothing was an inconvenience for him just a lovely guy! We need more people in customer facing roles like that ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Coffee was really good and the cookies were also lovely.

Sunday Brunch. The food is decent enough, though certainly no bargain. The service, though was offhanded, slow, and uncaring. We were a party of 4 seated upstairs overlooking the main floor and watched several other parties be seated, get menus and drinks and place orders before we even placed drink orders. The othertables got their food and were leaving when we asked the floor manager what the hold up was and why it took so long to take our order. He said the delay was because one of of us ordered an a la cart breakfast so, in effect, it was our fault. When I went to pay the management was not at all interested ion our experience. There are enough places in the are that want to offer good food AND good service to give this place a pass.

Delicious vegan breakfast! Itโ€™s rare we manage to find vegan square sausage, vegan black pudding or vegan haggisโ€ฆ so to get them all on one plate was a FIND. Lovely staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

The bad reviews seem like petty reasons. This place always delivers. Such good vegan options, some of the best in Glasgow. Bring a vegan sceptic friend here for breakfast and no doubt it will change their minds. Friendly staff. An institution

Food is very mediocre, very generous portions I canโ€™t deny that. The food tastes like something a very average cook would make in their own home, no nice ingredients or reasonable quality products. If you order the blt itโ€™s served on a sad piece of what seems like supermarket own brand white loaf rather than a nice sourdough or something. They could make basic changes just to elevate standards and it would make all the difference. Also place doesnโ€™t seem that clean thereโ€™s something slightly grubby about it. Staff are lovely though, and very accommodating.

Been going to the Brooklyn since I was young, it still retains it's old charm, the staff were very attentive and the food for a cafรฉ is very well presented. Can't recommend highly enough.

A hidden gem in Shawlands, brilliant freshly cooked food at a decent price, Staff are super friendly and efficient. Our server was a really funny guy who chatted away and didn't rush us. Panini was lovely and I recommend the Tatter Tots they are banging ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ‘ŒCappuccino with oatmilk was great, This place was buzzing on a Wednesday lunchtime, Will definately be back ๐Ÿ‘

Best poached eggs I've ever had, proper runny yolk. Washed down with a nice cup of tea! Portion sizes are very generous, struggled to finish mine and the better half couldn't finish his. Wish they had a place closer to our home to visit more often but it's worth the journey for a treat!
