What a disappointment! Food was bland, thrown together, 30 minutes to assemble a fast food dish, restaurant not clean, staff more interested in the delivery drivers - a terrible experience all round.

Shocking. I ordered a boss box to build a house, but unfortunately it came with left over food inside (or what looked like left over portions) I didn't know what to do with the food as it was stale and could barely feed anyone for £13.49 it, tbh I'd expect a box without leftovers. Anyway, I'd recommend if you're looking for boxes to get them from B&Q they're cheaper and can build more robust boxed houses. Well as for the food, if you're lucky you can pass by any below average takeaway late at night, and if you go round the back sometimes you'll find some splattered left over food at by the bins assured to be of better quality and value.

That was the worst GDK I’ve ever had. When our kebabs eventually arrived (after 30 minutes) they were tiny even though we had ordered extra large portions. Not only this, they were stone cold. We complained but the service was awful and the member of staff didn’t know how to refund us or replace our meal. Absolutely awful.

Staff very friendly and helpfull especially when You are not sure what sizes are or what sort of ingredients are there. Location is pretty good as well. Less than 10mins walk from Grand Central. I trully recommend the place. It is not like an ordinary fast food kebab. It is proper Kebab! I was 3 times in my 2 week stay and I tried Original Doner Kebab, Doner Wrap and Doner Gym Box also I had ordinary fries and spicy fries. All of them were meal deals and you can have doner or go mix, however your heart desire. I will be coming back next time when I visit Glasgow.

This is the worst restaurant i have ever been to. I been to many German Donor Kebab but like this branch i never seen. First of all if you want to order the big meal Boss Box for take away not delivery you will get it like this in the photos. I dont know if the chef who prepare the sandwich which is used to be GDK he would like to eat it if he is served like this and i dont know why in the menu is written that it is served with 3 dips of sauce and when you buy 3 sandwiches you get only one dip with all of them.. Absolutely terrible service, i never recommend any body who would like a happy meal to try specially this branch. I tried other branches never get this terrible service..

Friendly staff and fast service. Place is pretty much spotless, nice modern décor with comfortable leather seating. Food is excellent, well priced with generous portions. A good place to go for a treat. Only thing that would make it even better is getting licensed so you can have a beer to go with your kebab as it's soft drinks only - think this place is popular with people of Islamic faith though (lots of people in the reviews complimenting the halal options) so don't think this would be popular to many.

I was very sad when wasn't able to found any good place to eat kebab till i found this place. very tasty, the bread is first class, good portion. highly recommend.

First time of trying this place, nice and tasty doner kebab, but not as nice as your local chippy version. Slightly over priced personally, but you have to try everything.

Not happy at all, had to wait 40 min for my order. Not one staff approached and said your order will be here soon or it’ll be 5 min, they were all in their own little bubble. Deliveries and individuals who are sitting in have a greater priority than folks who are just taking it with them even if they arrived after me. It's usually a 20 minute wait, which is very long. At the end my food had been ready for 30 min and had been placed on the shelf as a delivery. Missed 2 buses and I only got “sorry about that”.

15 minutes queuing for food. 20 minute wait for food. The delivery companies have priority over guests and people ordering takeaway. Stood here looking at a full restaurant but everyone is waiting on food but the delivery guys keep coming and letting cold air into restaurant. Ruining the ambience.

Fantastic food for a good price and halal too. Staffs were helpful and the wait was not long at all. If you can't finish your meal, you can ask the staffs for a takeaway package and bag to pack your leftovers. Definitely will come again.

Visited here a lot of time and it never disappoints. Delicious and satisfying kebabs. Best chips ever. It is generally crowded so waiting time is much(approx 30-40) mins.

I LOVE GDK!! First, I want to mention how safe I felt that the box came sealed with a sticker.. the BOSS BOX is wonderful - the kebab is delicious and I LIVE FOR THEIR SPRING ROLLS. Their spring rolls are an amazing idea.. the only reason for a lack of 5* is that they got my order wrong, I ordered a Coke Zero not regular. They should pay more attention when packing orders.

Can honestly say thats the best donner kebab ive ever had. Nicely packed together, nice crispy bread. Amazing! My recommended this place and i can now see why.

I tried the OG Doner kebab with mixed meat options - chicken + beef and I loved it. I also tried the Doner krunch burger, it was tasty but I'd prefer OG Doner over the burger anytime as they are almost the same price. The service was surprisingly very fast considering it was a Friday night. Would definitely recommend this place for a quick snack.

German doner kebab is my favorite place to eat. I usually go there on their different franchises. Yesterday I was in Glasgow I visited their location, it was clean and friendly like always. I ordered chicken kebab and a chicken kebab meal for my friend. The taste was the same as "delicious". The atmosphere was good. Their service was very courteous and friendly especially Brian. I would love to visit again.

Well done to the team who are all and about ensuring that the customer gets the best. The kebab is always amazing and the consistency is superb. I really enjoyed it and it’s my first stop whenever I visit Glasgow.

Brilliant place. Was in on Monday and the lady at the counter was so nice, (I hope the salt and vinegar crisps helped if you see this) A business is not a business though without staff like her! As for the food, it was delicious. Cooked to perfection and we will be back again soon.

A great kebab of course , but the delivery is terrible, the courier rode a bicycle for 40 minutes, the waiting period was constantly extended, cold kebab. Delivery is expensive and waiting time (by bike) terrible

I believe there was some issues with the just eat ordering system, which I understand but while one person looks after that, another could take the orders from the 3 waiting outside in the cold. Loved ordering here over lockdown amazing Durum kebabs and chips but ordered twice in 3 days and both times food arrived ice cold. I appreciate food cools but I dont live far enough away for it to cool that much, and its not cool, its ice cold. Like its been in a fridge. Maybe have a word with your ubereats drivers?

Loved the kebabs from here. Until my last visit I received a kebab with bits of plastic through it. Was contacted by kitchen manager who confirmed it was the wrapping from the beef. I was told my uber account would be credited for the order it wasnt. I then received a pathetic email from the manager to say I can have my order re-made. The place has went right downhill since opening I wont be returning. Check your food folks!

Ordered 2 doner kebabs and WOW Shocking portion size! Cold! So sad, was really looking forward to trying this place out after hearing so many great things. You know that feeling when you’re like, wish I just stuck to my usual kebab shop???? Well you probably should. Definitely won’t be back

As usual Best Doner kebabs!!! No doubt about it. Are you a Doner kebab fan?- then that’s the best place! Try their spicy fries too they were nice. Staffs nice and courteous.

Ordered the beef kebab, chips and cheese. The kebab was way to salty and just a few scratches. Instead of cheese there was some sort cheesy sauce and the fries was no different than the cheapest frozen at Tesco. The portion was half or even a third of what you will get in a proper kebab takeaway for the money. I can give the staff 5 starts. Friendly and polite unfortunately I'm going there to eat so one star. Really overrated and expensive takeaway!

I have enjoyed having German donner kebab which was quiet a good portion plus the choice of sauces given the meal provides the option of enjoying the meal according to your taste. Also, the option available are quiet good as compared to other fast food retailers. Sitting environment is quiet good but during busy periods it's hard to find seats and as they only have two kiosks to place an order the queue during busy periods gets out of the shop. There's no option to place the order over the phone which is disappointing. I have been here during busy periods and have taken almost 15 -25 minutes from placing order to leaving the shop with the meal. There's also option to make your meal large and to put additional sauces within your meal but I will suggest to avoid it because I took the option couple of times but it was disappointing watching staff making the preparing your meal with same amount of sauce as a normal meal even though I paid for extra for it. Overall, a good place to eat and I tend to visit in a less busier times.
