First time here. Not impressed. The place was not particularly busy. Used the kiosks to order. Then a 10 minute wait to get a bacon double cheeseburger meal. I wasn't in a rush, so it didn't annoy me as it might have if I was in a hurry. This is a fast food place. 10 minutes to get food is unacceptable. Okay, on to the food. My order was takeaway. My hotel was a 5 min. walk away. By the time I got to the room I was eager to try the food. First thing I noticed is that there was no bacon in the bacon double cheeseburger. I had to check my receipt to make sure I actually ordered this (as it was done on the kiosk so I may have inadvertently ordered the wrong item). Nope. I did order it. The taste was not bad. The lattice fries cold...like it had no trace of warmth to it. Maybe that's the way it is supposed to be served, I don't know because it was my first time there. The chipotle dipping sauce was good. I also ordered two boston creme donuts. That was the best part of the meal. Maybe the staff was having an off day. But I'm unimpressed and won't go back...at least not for the sandwiches and fries, maybe just the donuts.

Well, y'all know Tim's. Affordable meal with average-tasting coffee. They got this breakfast deal, which is easy on your wallet. This place is particularly special as it is near the train station. It's got some good seats, wherein you'll get a good view of the busy city centre. It's fun observing people, just rushing and getting on with their lives while you're having a slow sip on your coffee, having a wee break from misery.

The food was disappointing with a soggy half toasted sandwich, cold waffle fries and luke warm coffee. Been to a few in Canada and the coffee and food was really good, but it doesn't seem to transfer over to UK. I needed a code to use the toilet but they were below standard. Surprising, due to restricted use. Store was not busy at all, now I know why.

Bought their chocolate brownie doughnut £3.29. Was not nice. Specifically asked if there was cream inside, but it was chocolate instead. Wasn’t impressed. Didn’t taste very fresh.

I visited this venue yesterday, Not a lot of social distancing and no track and trace in place, not all staff wearing masks. Place was clean and tidy, the little bit I sore, the down stairs seating was closed, at 9am, even though the top floor was packed. Staff a bit rude, could do with some customer service training. Food was hot, the drink was warm. Would only recommend if in need of a cheap breakfast ( i had the £1.99 breakfast deal, sausage bagels, hash brown and hot chocolate), would only visit again in need of a quick, cheap breakfast.

Donuts are delicious and the dark roast coffee is a good accompaniment to them. Service is a little lacking. Staff were a little rude and dismissive when we we were told our coffee would take a few minutes to brew some fresh product bit weren't informed whether we should wait or if it would be brought to us. Overall a good experience, and the coffee and donut was delicious.

Nice location + welcoming staff + fantastic drinks .

The store seems to have a problem with staff training and staff retention. New starts on the tills have consistently got orders wrong to the extent that I have to check my order before leaving. Stock control isn't too great either. Lost count of the times I've had to choose something else to eat or choose a different size of coffee because they've run out of cups. Come on... Coffee and doughnuts are the core of the place!! The honeymoon period is officially over. Edit. Five months later. Zero improvement. In fact, it's got a lot worse. Now there is an infestation of flies. It's winter but you'd swear it's the height of summer with the number of flies. Crawling over the doughnuts on display isn't a good look. Food hygiene need to be contacted asap. Absolutely filthy.

Great friendly service, and timbits are clearly sent from heaven.

I think the dark roast is some of the nicest coffee out there. However whilst there’s some deals the food can be expensive for the small portion sizes. The price of the coffee itself has crept up since the store first opened.

Been hoping to try Tim Hortons for a while and it did not disappoint. Nice coffee and lots of sweet treats

  • 5/5 Catarina F. 4 years ago on Google
The service was great and the staff very friendly. The menu variety is great and I can recommend the doughnuts as they are all great and so is the coffee. It is just around the corner from Glasgow central so easily accessible. It is great for a piece of Canada away from Canada.

Just like every other Tim's in the world. A reminder of home 3000 miles away. I think it's the only place in the UK you can ask for a double double and they know what you mean.

Had a maple hot chocolate and a strawberry donut. I prefer creamier hot chocolate and it was a bit too sweet. The donut has a generous amount of filling and it good. Overall, find a bit pricey for the quality.

Recently visited this store for a quick bite whilst travelling through Glasgow and to be honest I wish I hadn't. The only word to describe the food is "tragic," this was my first and last time grabbing food here, I tried the big breakfast wrap and my wife got the maple pancake stack.... My wrap looked absolutely nothing like advertised obviously but the sausage patty or whatever the burnt bits of black rubber were didn't taste good and there wasn't very much "big" about it. My wife's pancake stack literally came in a box with holes in the bottom so the syrup was everywhere and they were also extremely bland. The only positive was my lukewarm caramel coffee which tasted nice and the doughnut we each got was lovely otherwise avoid if you can.

Surprisingly consistent on the food and inconsistent on the taste of coffee. Nice place to eat out if you are near by. Some of their exclusive bakes are really really good especially Timbits Fresh food are the time. High hygiene standards. Friendly staff with smile always. They always consider special request and do best to accommodate your requests. Fast service for drive throu too, surprisingly fast if I may add.

Waiting for a bus and to get out of the rain I came in to wait with a hot drink. Took the order of a hot chocolate and it was ready in seconds which I though was odd. The milk was scorched obviously been sitting on a warmer all day or microwaved either way it wasn’t very nice. Told after it was take away only wouldn’t it have been better to say that before taking my order? Had I known that I wouldn’t have ordered and gone elsewhere. If there is a sign saying that seating was closed its not noticeable. I like Tim Hortons But not this store which is a shame I has potential to be a lot better than it is. A little customer care goes a long way

Coffee was watery, not like Tim Horton's coffee in Canada. You'd expect the coffee at least to be the same. Tables were grubby. Toilets out of order. Surely Tim Horton check their franchise places? We went twice to Argyll St. Tim's, 6 months apart, on our recent visit doesn't seem to have improved. Won't go again. This review is without prejudice.

  • 3/5 Hot Chocolate R. 3 months ago on Google New
Hot chocolate was of reasonable taste, nothing particularly adventurous or bold, although consistency was quite decent, with the whole drink being quite smooth in texture. Although the temperature was rather second-rate, particularly letting the drink down past the first few sips. Ultimately a fine drink, 5/10

Nice Tim Hortons branch situated near Glasgow Central station. You can get the regular coffees, doughnuts and burgers like any other Tim Hortons. I bought the Maple Popcorn Frappé + Maple Popcorn Doughnut. It's nice! but very sweet for my taste, like very very sweet. Not a recommended combo, maybe the frappe + burger would be nicer to counyer the sweetness. But on their own, both the frappe and doughnut was very nice and delicious.

Roll up Glasgow! Come and get service without a smile, followed by a sub-par coffee in a bashed cup that results in you getting burned, stained clothes & hands and then the remaining half a coffee left to drink. Awful

Found a hair in my breakfast item. Issue was quickly rectified by staff member and I received a complimentary confectionary item as an apology. Lounge area downstairs is relaxing. Staff are friendly.

The service was on point, a quick, cheap low-quality breakfast when everything else is closed was better than nothing. Was expecting something more meaningful, but ended up eating the same menu as McDonald's. (first time here, didn't know) Shout out to the guy who offered to take the order. I was just too tired from Glasgow noise to interact.

He said roads all closed for some strange reason. I live 10 minutes walk from tim Nortons work in town. Joke no delivery no refund no number for restaurant absolutely disgraceful avoid this place at all costs. ?

Tim Hortons in Glasgow! I got my French Vanilla fix.... The sandwiches menu isn't the same as the Canadian one and didn't see bagels with cream cheese among other items. But the did have the essential classics... French Vanilla, Iced Cap, Donuts and Tim Bits, chocolate glazed donut, Apple fritters.

What can I say, it’s got coffee and donuts and it’s Canadian .. all good. Glasgow is cool as we don’t have this chain in England.

Fresh and delicious timbites and fresh coffee . I have enjoyed it.

  • 5/5 Paul E. 4 years ago on Google
My first Timmies in Scotland. I've been in several ones during my numerous visits to Canada and was pleased to see that the chain has made it over here. We had a 10 pack of TimBits which is different flavoured mini doughnuts and a could of Mango and Passionfruit coolers. Maybe a Canadian will tell you it's not as good as back home but I thought it was just they way I remembered it.

Friendly welcoming staff... amazing drinks. Some of the best coffee / mocha I have ever had. One small downfall, there were flies in the donut / food fridge which is off putting when wanting to buy food to go with a coffee.

  • 4/5 Paul M. 5 years ago on Google
Went here with my other half who is Canadian and missed some of her home treats! Great if quite sugary food (guess that's the point though!!!). Great selection of donuts. Shop was a bit messy though with uncleaned tables and overflowing bins.

As usual, swift and friendly service, great coffee and donuts, doesn't cost a fortune. I find it hard to walk or drive past a Tim's without going in for SOMETHING! ?

EDIT: Tim Hortons on Argyle Street has become noticeably understaffed in the last few months and the footfall has been dropping as a result. I have stopped going regularly due to the discontinuation of my favourite product.

Tastes just like home. Had really been craving a “steeped tea” since moving to the UK - it’s called freshly brewed tea here. Also love that the sizes were big unlike when I order tea from most shops. Tim bits were also just like home.

Their french vanilla coffee is awesome they're far way better than McDonald's KFC and all

  • 4/5 Mr Tom H. 4 years ago on Google
Very busy location, and unfortunately with 5 visible employees there was one person working the till and 4 others doing who-knows-what. They do have some work to do to get their standards up to what we're used to in Canada. The dark roast coffee was good, however I don't think they're using cream, as the flavour just wasn't quite there.

  • 1/5 Romesh F. 3 years ago on Google
We ordered our breakfast but never received it but the delivery driver took a picture of someone else's door and charged for us. There is no contact number for the Tim Hortons Argyle Street so the only way we can contact is here. Basically we had to pay for someone else's free breakfast. Never order from here again but Tim you better return my money back

Great location, friendly and helpful staff with good service quality. Nice place to sit and observe the city of Glasgow in Scotland's pulse. The various options for breakfast there are definitely top notch and not highly priced. I would definitely recommend visiting it for breakfast. It is also close to city centre , so great location

There was a moose shaped doughnut! In a way that's food that's shaped like other food so that makes it misleading, but nobody eats moose in Scotland and it wasn't photorealistic anyway. The moose seemed really angry so I didn't mind eating it. Also, the good couch downstairs was available.
