Just had a delicious meal for my lunch with my husband first time eating in here the girl that served us was very helpful and really down to earth the meal was 2 roast. Beef and all the trimmings was brilliant size portion and the price was very good the girl that served us was called Lisa very helpful will definitely recommend to friends and family x

For many years my wife and I have enjoyed Dobbies traditional breakfasts considering them to be tasty and of reasonable value for money. However, after a recent visit on 10 August 2022, I doubt if we shall be returning there again. The tray had not been cleaned properly. There were no fried eggs as the delivery had not been received (could some arrangement not have been made with the in-store Sainsburys to borrow a few?). The scrambled egg was cold, tasteless and pretty disgusting. The Lorne sausage was rubbery and tasteless. The bacon was blue in colour and decidedly unappetising. The “napkin” was smaller than a paper tissue and certainly not fit for purpose. On the positive side the links were rather tasty and the staff were hugely apologetic, pleasant and helpful. Considering the many other establishments in the vicinity that are offering breakfasts, I think it is time Dobbies started getting their act together.

Has a great range of products. However, very expensive. For example, we saw a Large grey plastic plant pot for £199. The café too was overpriced; £10.50 for ham, egg and chips, at that price you expect something good, unfortunately not. Chips were under done and not much ham, the two small eggs were cooked right though, and so they should be, it's just eggs! Staff were nice and pleasant though, always ready to help. Won't be back as I can get what I want elsewhere for cheaper at the same quality or better.

I cannot rate high enough my experience at Dobies in Braehead. I was aimlessly walking around the garden furniture section of the store, when along came Kat (not sure if that is the correct spelling) and saved the day. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in her field, whilst going above and beyond her duties to assist. Nothing was a bother for her and was extremely eager to assist. Great work and excellent customer service makes a great impression and will definitely be back again soon.

Good garden centre with lots of gardening and household stuff. We don't do pet stuff but there seems to be a big section of that too. And since last time we were in there seems to be a tie up with Sainsbury and the food section is basically a small supermarket. Really quite handy and saved us another stop on the way home. All in all, a good place!

as for the visit to dobbies garden centre today there's oy one thing I can say regarding the food section most places where you for a breakfast if there's anything on your plate you don't like they will exchange it for something else but not at dobbies I told the girl what I don't like a D asked if I coukd change it for something else answer NO I said OK then can I have 2 of those 2of those and 2 of those answer NO so just got scramble egg on toast when got to table toast was soggy as the eggs were slapped on top and also cold so won't be back to there garden centre at braehead anymore C mcc

Went in to buy some large border plants, however they have all fallen on the ground after high winds. Rather than pick up the plants, they have staff brushing moss out of the block paving. There were over 200 large plants on the ground. I would not buy from a company that is not looking after what they are selling to customers. 11am Sunday 7th August.

Ordered a tuna sandwich today at 14.30. Server proceeded to use her bare hands to put the accompanying salad onto my plate. No salad tongs or hygiene gloves used. On taking my sandwiches away she proceeded to wipe her nose with the back of her hand. This just put me off eating completely and put my tray down on the shelf and left it. Don't think I'll be back again.

Quality cakes in the cafe. I've also found that the plants here are reliably healthy, with a wide range of gardening equipment. Find the non gardening gifts bit expensive.

Just had a freshly cooked breakfast before a leisurely wander round the plants and flower etc. So much choice and great displays - plenty of staff available if you need some help or advice. Great to see that Dobbies are recycling any old plastic flower pots/ containers too.

Usual stock lines, café, aquatics, Sainsbury's on-site. As ever prices are not the keenest but some bargains to be had on plants that have finished flowering.

Wonderful coffee, even more wonderful treacle scone. Staff always friendly and welcoming. Carefully spaced out tables; very hygienically maintained. Put it this way, we visit at least twice a month - and we aren't that easy to please.

Love this place for the variety of items to buy. Fish keeper shop us my place to go to keep my Koi happy. The food on the other hand keeps getting worse. Cheese and coleslaw baked potato. Piled super high with cheap nasty coleslaw and the a sprinkling of cheese? Not exactly Costco type pricing so.would expect a lot more. Goats cheese and onion pie was burnt out and salad with it was just depressing. Coffee was weak and it took so long to process the sale it was cold. Only good thing was the toastie and coke for the kids. Even my wife couldn't get that wrong. Overall the standards and quality has fallen. Used to be great and now winter is here its depressing. Sort of or lose it. I'll go elsewhere for my lunch.

Cafe leaves a lot to be desired. I’ve visited the cafe at Debbie’s on many occasions and to say yesterday’s experience has put me off ever going again. Went to order “soup”. And a sandwich between my friend and I. The “soup” was more like thick broth mix and porridge together, it was so clugged together you could eat it with a knife and fork. We then decided we would have a sandwich, I opted for chicken tikka, which was ok, my friend opted for tuna mayo, there was more mayo than tuna, so she could not eat it. The chips were lookwarm and could not be eaten, but that’s okay because they come FREE with the sandwich. Overall a very disappointing experience, the tea was also lookwarm.

Excellent value for money in the restaurant. Great staff throughout the store and restaurant. Great choice of indoor and outdoor products. Well worth a visit

Really disappointed. Visited cafe and spent nearly £30 on food that was bland and over rated. The only part of the order that tasted as expected was the hot chocolate! Bits of order missed, wrong things on plate. In the shop things were poor too. One queue that took forever to move, the reason, each customer was asked at the till to join the club. As each one took time to complete paperwork at the till the queue extended into the shop. This could be easily avoided by have a separate sign up desk near the till but not AT the till. Disappointed that such a well known brand was such a poor experience.

Lovely bright spacious restaurant. Menu a little limited but tasty. Great selection of seeds bulbs and plants. Will be back in a month or so to make my purchases.

Fantastic afternoon tea with my granddaughter for her 6th birthday. Far too much to eat at one go! Great selection in the child's plate including chocolate strawberries yoghurt cucumber and carrot and a dip and cake and sandwich. Enough for four people never mind two! Offered more tea as well. Great service! Great value!

We've named the Elf Buddy as he's the tallest we've seen 🤣 he was amazing at settling my 9yr old as she was super nervous to meet Santa. Lovely experience all round 🎅
