A gorgeous greenhouse in a lovely park. We were lucky enough to be there in a warm sunny day and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. While waiting for the palace to open, we strolled around admiring all the flowers, herbs, and vegetables growing about. There is a really pleasant river walk near by as well. The palace itself is small but the plants are amazing. Lots of great information about the plants organized by region. Also read history of the palace itself. One of the highlights of Glasgow for us.

Wonderful area for a little walk or just to sit down and enjoy the plants. There are boards up with some interesting history to read up on or you can just sit on one of the benches, relax and take in the fresh air.

Great greenhouse in the park! It’s a circular walk with koi fish at the entrance, some pitcher plants to welcome you followed by a small botanical walk. There’s also places to sit and take in and well maintained statues.

Free Attraction !!! *********************** Calling all aspiring horticulturist and gardening enthusiasts!! Very comprehensive collection of beautiful plans from around the world. Elegant building and a beautiful park with a children’s play area. This has all the elements to make it a great days out. There is free on street parking, good transportation links, located in the trendy west end side of town with plenty of good bars and restaurants to choose from. The Subway station is also near in case you prefer to travel by public transport.

Located in Glasgow Botanical Garden. I like how they arrange plants into mini "jungle" and put sculptures around the jungle.

Most romantic and serene place in town. Take a book or just chill on one of the benches. Walk through the huge ferns and palmtrees and feel part of another space and time.

Absolutely beautiful place to get your wedding photos!!!! Lovely place to walk through too if you don't happen to be getting married 😝 Feel free to get lost in here for a little bit, there is a lot to see! Just remember that it may be a little hot and humid! Photo by David Grant Simpson.

I visited this place on Sat 8th January, known about it all my life and how it was shipped up the Clyde from Rothesay but never been inside before.. It was a cold day and it had been snowing heavy the day previous. Upon going inside, there was a humid feel and it was far less cold. Taking the one-way tour there was an array of decorative features, plants and flowers you don't get at this time of the year. A nice place to have visited, very tidy and well maintained.

Charming, beautiful, and a great little place to bring your kids or a date. Some spots are a bit worse for wear, but the many fascinating plants more than make up for that. There’s also quite a few informational plaques and statues throughout. Very friendly staff at the entrance as well!

The Glasgow Botanical Gardens are phenomenal. The showstopper is Kibble Palace, a 19th-century wrought iron-framed glasshouse. Originally used for concerts and exhibitions, it's been used for the cultivation of temperate plants since the 1880s. The glasshouse is home to a collection of ancient New Zealand and Australian tree ferns. The wings of Kibble Palace house and the other glasshouse house impressive collections of orchids, begonias, succulents, and carnivorous plants.

Loved this little spot. After exploring the botanical grounds, it was nice to just sit back and relax. The seating area is nice and clean. The staff were so wonderful and the area is dog friendly. The food prices were very reasonable.

Tremendous tree ferns in the round house at the Kibble Palace (see pics). The other glasshouses are fairly well ‘packed’ with plants so more information or a guide would be useful.

Lovely big glass house with fantastic fern collection. Located in the extensive Botanic Gardens. It’s a lovely place to have lunch, read a book or just relax especially when the weather is inclement outside

WOW! I was amazed by everything. Sadly I didn't have enough time to explore since it close early in winter. But everything I have seen was amazing and I was surprised I never expected that it will be that good

Beautiful collections of various flora from all over the world are contained within the various greenhouses of the Glasgow Botanic Gardens, all close to (and including) Kibble Palace. Not too busy even on a long-weekend sunny day. I found parking on Clyde River Bridge, very close to Kibble Palace.
