A fascinating and emotive museum which seems be forgotten about being at "wrong" end of Sauchiehall Street.Very well presented and a very efficient staff.Very disappointed I could not stay longer but will be back for a long visit in next few months. The building does have a WATER GENERATED LIFT designed by CHARLES RENNIE MACKINTOSH.which I suggest is publicised more to attract more visitors. .

Full of interesting material that was well displayed. Information was detailed and this museum is a must for anyone who likes military history. The museum certainly lets you know what it was like for a soldier throughout the years. Good to see regimental history shared with the public. Please leave a like.

Would have been a great place to visit. These places are very important to our history. Sadly, despite confirming they were open, when I got there, they weren't. Felt a bit let down, especially with their lame excuses at the door.

Closed until further notice -bwould be handy if their Facebook page, webpage, etc, advised that instead of advertising that all is back on after Covid.

An amazing and truly interesting collection, partially for an English person to see the role of the Scottish army in the world wars and prior conflicts. Staff were friendly and amazing; entry is free! 100% recommend

The staff there are a bunch of miserable upper-class snobs. They know nothing about the military.

Great museum detailing the history of the regiment pre and post amalgamation. Just a shame they're hardly ever open. We visited today and was told they were closed, but they let us in for a little bit anyway which was nice. Had to rush though sadly as wanted to spend more time here and learn more about my great great grandfathers old regiment (HLI). I just hope that the museum will extend its opening days/times to weekends? Seems a shame to have so much history and yet barely a chance for visitors to appreciate it.

Anyone interested in the history of Scottish regiments will be fascinated by this place. This is where to discover more about The Royal Highland Fusiliers and it's antecedent regiments The Royal Scots Fusiliers and the Highland Light Infantry. Great collection. The Museum was well run until March 2006 when it fell into the "stewardship" of dubious people such as the person who sent me an email today. Until the harridan from Honiton is exorcised from the building I suspect The Regimental Museum will be justifiably regarded as a "not very user-/visitor friendly" place.

Amazing amazing experience. The museum is free entry and staff at the reception is very friendly. There is loads and loads of information to read therefore one day is not enough. The museum has two floors and in the ground floor you’ll explore the establishment of Fusilier forces and the in the first floor one will find the contribution of them during the 1st and 2nd world wars. Wealth of an experience. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely great place to visit. Took my Dad who is ex RHF and he loved it. The girls on the desk inside are absolutely great and welcome you the minute you step in the door. I highly recommend to anyone, even if you haven't served it's still worth a visit.

A small museum and a bit dark making some of the exhibits difficult to read. Friendly staff. Worth a visit.

I took part in a tour of their museum and I must say it was thoroughly enjoyable, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and took his time to go over everything in the tour. I am certainly planning to go back and do another tour in the future. Thank you for a fantastic immersive experience tour.

Fascinating museum. Well worth a free visit tho I am sure a donation will be very acceptable. You can find your great great grandfathers service records here as well as the uniform he wore and kit he had to fight with. A brilliant gem of a place. Long may it continue. A great place to take the kids and a resource for history teachers and students in the West of Scotland.
