Took the tour recently while in Glasgow. In my experience it is always the best way to get to know a city quickly and up close. Keith was an entertaining and conversational guide who was informative knowledgable and sincere. This was not a hyper guide but someone who liked his city and shared his knowledge with us, enjoyed questions rather than constantly leading the conversation. As a bike enthusiat I loved the Pashley Post bikes he used and the story that came along with them. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone and don't worry about keeping up. The pace is easy and the hills are short. I seldom leave reviews online but felt I should share this.

A questioned choice of activity for a boys weekend in Glasgow. By far and away the best received event of the two days! A simple yet effective tour that is delivered in a relaxed and informative manner. With a wonderful back story to the bikes you are launched into parts of Glasgow that some of the Glaswegians in our group hadn't ever seen! Couldn't recommend this enough to anyone who can ride a bike. Starts and stops from a brewery which is just genius!

We had a nice trip with Glasgow Bike Tours, together with guide Marco. The weather was not so nice so we made a short cut ☺

What an absolutely fantastic experience! I actually lived in Glasgow for a while, and got to see and hear about things I never did before. I can’t think of a better to explore the sights and history of this beautiful old city. Keith was our tour guide, a local guy who has lived there his whole life, and really did a fantastic job. He was hilarious, and full of interesting facts and trivia. He also did a great job of keeping everything at the pace of our slowest rider, and making sure that everyone was involved and entertained. The bikes were comfortable and easy to ride, and the route was mostly very easy, with only a few hills, but nothing overly difficult - even for a 50ish non-bike rider like me. As a bonus, the bar that you start and end the bike tour at was a great place to end the ride with good food and beer. Overall, I cannot recommend this bike tour of Glasgow enough!

My friend and I met Keith for our bike tour and were pleased to find out we were the only ones on the tour. So, we got a private customized tour of Glasgow!! Keith was very knowledgeable and took his time even though we were fairly experienced riders. The trip was just under 6 hours and we saw so much. We had lunch after a bit then stopped at a coffee shop just as it started to rain. I would highly recommend this bike tour to anyone who wants more than a bus or walking tour. Great job Keith!! Cheers, Joel...

This was such a wonderful experience. I had opted for the 3 hour cycling tour. Ali was an excellent guide and especially patient, given that I had not cycled in 7-8 years. The route itself was scenic and even better on cycle than walking through. It was fascinating to see there are schools just off the Kelvin River Walkway or how boats have been converted to BnBs over the canal route. Would highly recommend it to everyone.

The Glasgow Bike Tour was the highlight of our stay in Glasgow! It’s a wonderful and unique way to see the city. Our guide, Ali, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Beyond the sights of the tour he was also full of local knowledge for suggestions for restaurants and other attractions that definitely made our Glasgow trip even better!!! Highly, highly recommend this unique tour!!! It also begins and ends at a local brewery which has great food and beer.

Wonderful way to experience Glasgow! Keith was very knowledgeable and funny. We saw some great scenery and learned a lot about the city. The bikes were easy to ride refurbished postal worker bikes. The tour starts and ends at a great local brewery for an after cycle beverage. A must do while in Glasgow!

Excellent way to get a look around Glasgow and actually see it if you're short on time and can't get everywhere on foot. The bikes are comfortable 3 speeds with responsive handbrakes. Be forewarned, there are some inclines if you're a heavy like myself, but a drop down into the first gear should get you through all of it. Even if not, we had some spots where people chose to walk their bikes up the incline and our guide Keith was in no hurry, everyone was accommodated without judgment. His knowledge and guidance was top notch, and very friendly to boot. Our tour group was all Americans used to being on the right side of the road and he made it easy not to feel like our brains had gone haywire. Well worth it with some great views all around this underratedly beautiful city.

What a great way to see Glasgow! We signed up for the Full Bhuna group ride. When we met with our tour guide, it ended up he, and the two of us. Our tour guide- Keith was energetic, friendly, and knowledgeable about the history and sites of the city. The bikes were very comfortable and easy to maneuver on the Glasgow bike paths and streets. Enjoyed our view of Ashton Lane from our lunch spot at Innis and Gunn Brewery. Keith provided a tea cake while we stopped at a coffee house along the Glasgow Canal (just in time to take shelter from short rain shower). Seeing the sites at 8 mph at street level was special. This tour was one of the highlights of 10 Discover Scotland tour.

Keith took us on a lovely cycle which passed through some really interesting parts of this amazing city and I certainly wouldn't have found these on my own in the time I had. One of the highlights for me was on a narrow track alongside a river which passed by some lovely interesting parts and also when we cycled along the canal with views of the city which were fantastic! Exploring on a bike is a really great way to see as much of a city as possible in the shortest amount of time! The time certainly flew by on the tour and I felt as though I'd learned a lot from a local who knew his stuff, as Keith definitely does! Back at base I had time for a quick beer as that's where he's based which for me (and possibly others?) Is a win! Thanks for a great tour Keith! :)

Places we wouldn’t have seen if we hadn’t cycled 10 miles through Glasgow. The bike storage facility is not street level so just be patient and wait outside the pub - restaurant and someone will turn up.

We went on a tour on March 29, 2018 with the loveliest older gentleman who was formerly a police officer... I wish I remembered his name. He really went above and beyond. My non-athletically inclined friend was not enthusiastic about going, and afterward it was all she could talk about and it was her favorite thing we did in Scotland (we also visited Edinburgh). Our tour guide was so informative and interesting and just full of the best stories. We were the only two on the tour, and we were so lucky to have him to ourselves! I’m convinced this bike tour is the hands down best way to discover/visit Glasgow.

It was pretty rainy at the beginning of our trip but our guide helped us to stay dry by choosing good places to stop. Guide was knowledgeable and fun. There were a few hills that were hard to ride in the bikes we had but they were short nap spaced out. Fun way to see and learn about Glasgow.

I will preface this review by stating that we were unable to actually experience the tour due to cancelled flights. This review is based on customer service and lack of flexibility in the tour operator. GBT offer cancellation and a full refund up to 72 hours before the tour is due to start. easyJet cancelled our flight to Glasgow 70 hours before the tour. We emailed GBT as soon as we discovered the trip was no longer happening, which was maybe 68 hours before the tour. Unfortunately there was zero flexibility, not even a partial refund offered, for the sake of 4 hours? Really poor. The offer of a rescheduled date was useless, considering the trip was cancelled. As a small business owner myself (although not in the tour business) I would feel a little dirty if I treated a customer this way. I feel like a company's response to a situation like this says everything about their whole ethos. If that is the case, GBT are lacking.

We called to schedule a last minute bike tour and Keith was able to make it happen! He was knowledgeable, friendly and showed us an educational tour of Glascow we otherwise would not have known.

I did the cycle tour of Glasgow with a family group. It was great. Our guide Laurie was very informative and made the cycle really enjoyable. We got to see parts of Glasgow we would not have seen otherwise. It was a good workout too! A great way to build up an appetite! I would highly recommend the tour.
