Absolutely fantastic day out at Glengoyne. It's a beautiful setting for a distillery with the waterfall and the bar overlooking the pond. The tour was great and our tour guide Joanne was brilliant, very funny and informative. The whisky was also delicious. I'd definitely recommend to anyone who's interested in Whisky or Scotland in general.

Independently owned distillery. Great grounds and informative, entertaining tasting. We visited during the silent period which we knew before we booked but did not miss the tour. Highly recommend if you want an independent distillery which is getting hard to find.

Had an absolutely amazing experience on the chocolate and whisky tour with Neil. The tour of the distillery was very informative and interesting. The whisky tasting was varied and provided a nice snapshot of the distillery whilst the paired chocolates were delicious and made the whiskies more interesting. Overall, I would 100% recommend a visit.

A fantastic tour for any whisky lover! I've been twice now and our guide was fab both times. We did the whisky and chocolate tasting tour which is well worth the money. Beautiful location, educational and my absolute favourite whisky.

Great experience in a visit to the Distillery today. Billy was outstanding. Knowledgeable, but just so friendly and warm. A credit to the place. Left with a bottle of Glengoyne Cask Strength. Well done.

The tour of distillery was booked by a dear friend and it turned out to be informative and a pleasant experience. Special thanks to Dianne and Rebecca who were thorough in imparting info on distillation process and whiskey tasting techniques. We tasted 10 & 15 years matured single malt scotch which is a part of the paid tour and bought few glasses from the on-site shop.

OMG the distillery surpassed any expectations of mine, from the website I was a little unsure, but arriving and being greeted with amazing staff, in such an idyllic setting was fantastic. We didn't book a tour, a mistake. But the staff were amazing... thank you so very much - we'll be back soon...

What a delightful visit and great distillery experience. It is an Uber, taxi, or bus ride from downtown Glasgow but with a little planning, is well worth the trip. The staff was very knowledgeable and eager to help with our transportation logistics. Three blissful samples of outstanding Scotch and chocolate made the tasting a strong finish. If you like Scotch and distillery tours, it’s a must see for the curious. Carlos, Holly, and Robert were exceptionally helpful.

My first distillery experience was an amazing one thanks to Glengoyne! It was truly beautiful, and we did the whisky and chocolate tasting. Our guide was wonderful, the group that we were with was wonderful, and we brought plenty of "souvenirs" to enjoy back home in the states. It was our first time in Scotland and we were so glad that we came here for such a memorable experience!

My partner and I came with my parents to celebrate my birthday. We had a fabulous tour with Alex a knowledgeable and friendly guide. Alex really added to the charm of the location with her the stories and insights this made the whole experience very personable. Following the tour there is a cosy tasting experience with the tour group. Then we got to explore the shop and head off home. Worth noting the driver will get to take their drams home to consume. Thank you for my birthday dram too!! 🥃

Visited on 26/03/2022 for the Malt Masters experience. Our tour guide Holly was excellent and provided an excellent tour. A lot learned about the produce of our national drink and I would thoroughly recommend a tour.

Our Malt Master Tour at the distillery was fantastic! The location is beautiful and not a far drive from Glasgow making it accessible. The tour didn't feel at all overbooked or crowded and it was informative, interesting, and fun! Joanne is a GREAT guide and she was everything you'd hope to get from a tour guide! We went to a lot of distilleries in the UK and this one was up there as one of our favorites!

Very good tour and tasting of whiskey I believe this tour is excellent value for money and I was happy to know that it is the most sustainable distillery in Scotland. If you are looking for a whiskey tour this must be one of the best to take near Edinburg or Glasgow. As it is in the countryside it adds a little more magic to it. In the end you get a discount in the shop. It is easy to visit by bus and you get all the views with mountains. The ticket by bus was 10 quid return. Hope you find this review helpful. Cheers.

We absolutely loved the tour of the distillery. Rebecca, our guide, was very knowledgeable and presented the whisky making process in a very detailed way. The whisky tasting was good too. We tried the 10 and 15 year old whiskys they make and they were beautiful. Couldn't recommend more. In terms of accessibility, the distillery is easy to reach from Glasgow by car and they have on site parking.

I can't say enough good things about this place. A beautiful tranquil location this distillery is definitely worth a visit. I did the whiskey tasting and the 18 year old scotch whiskey was delicious! Really interesting to learn about the process and the staff were so friendly helpful and informative! Definitely recommend.

What a wonderful little place! We had an amazing time walking around this distillery and the whisky tasting session was simply excellent, informative and enlightening! Staff Robert and David were both extremely nice with all the visitors. They seem so passionate about their job, explained so much in such great detail. We had a lovely time! Highly recommend.

Amazing factual tour. Hosted by Cathy. By far the best tour I've done in any distillery yet. Topped by the Malt Master experience. Can't be beat I don't think, but I've not done every tour in the home of whisky yet. I'll be back!

A very nice stop at the first day of the West Highland Way. We didn't the guided tour but look around and had a fresh lemonade. The staf is very friendly and the shop is beautiful and complete.

Such a wonderful experience. The Distillery is profoundly authentic, super local and personal. The staff made our touring so lovely personal! Kathy who led our tour made such an impact, what a lovely human being!! As a family of four, we were welcomed with kindness, authenticity and knowledgeable people! Recommend from the bottom of my heart!

We visited briefly while walking from Drymen to Milngavie. It's just a short detour from the West Highland Way and has the nicest backdrop. Lovely shop with lots of variety and different sizes, which means you can always fit a bottle in your backpack. The staff were really friendly so we'll try to come back some day for a tour.

Wonderful little family-owned distillery close to Glasgow. Great tour of facilities. Some of the best unpeated single malt Scottish whisky you will find. Delicious!

This was quite an experience, going to Glengoyne on a tour and tasting! Lorna, our tour guide at Glengoyne, did a fantastic job explaining and showing the process of making whisky from barley and how changes in the way you make it can cause it to taste totally different. Then we went to "tasting school" and Lorna taught us the way to taste and see the difference in the aging of whisky and tasted 10 year and 15 year old whisky, and explained the changes in the flavors. She dropped us off at the store. I recommend this tour even for those who know nothing about whisky.

This was a great experience! Alex was our wonderful tour guide. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and engaging. I’m so glad we chose Glengoyne for our tour. It is about a 30 minute drive from Glasgow city center, depending on traffic and where you are. Plan to arrive at Glengoyne 10 minutes before your tour time. Also, if you’re looking for a place to eat after your tour, we enjoyed The Old Mill in the nearby town, just a few minutes away, but reservations are helpful. This whiskey tour was a highlight of our time in Scotland!

We had such an amazing time here. Our guide, David, was hilarious and knew literally every single detail about the distillery and the process. Whisky was amazing and the location is beautiful! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Took the 11AM tour with David who was great. The distillery was between processing so most of the equipment was quiet - which meant we could peek into the inner workings of the process. Tasting afterwards was enjoyable and I got to try a dram of some of their other vintages in the shop. Came away with a great appreciation for the people, the process and the product. Beautiful location as well.

Visited the facility/tour there. Was a fan of bourbon till i visited Glengoyne. No word to explain the notes and taste of this whisky. Hands down to the best Whisky i had so far. Like they mentioned the important ingredient, the time does the magic. Cheers

Me and my dad loved the tour! The girl(forgot her name) that gave the tour was very friendly and knowledgeable! I would recommend this tour especially to people who don't know that much about whisky yet.
