Great route for moderately fit people. Quite rocky though and very muddy even during sunny days. The views from the top are breathtaking though..

Great wee walk 40 mins each way, quite steep at the start but it levels out pretty much for most of the walk. Bring waterproof shoes as it can be very boggy. Stunning views of Loch Lomond on a nice day, and make sure you persist to the unique rocks formation at the end of the walk.

This is a great short walk. Takes around 35-40 mins from the carpark to the top. Suitable for beginners. Wear walking boots or outdoor trainers. (Free parking) arrive early as there is limited spaces available

After taking a walk through the Kilpatrick Hills, we followed the path just off the John Muir Way to the Whangie, we were rewarded by a well earned break at this fascinating geological feature.

A fairly steep ascent that's rocky and boggy in places. If you don't want to climb to the trig point at the summit, take the right path at the fork (approx 30 minutes into the walk) and follow the path around the ridge where you'll find the Whangie on your left

Fantastic walking spot near Glasgow suitable for most walking abilities. Good for dog walkers. Easy parking and a choice of distances for your walk.

Nice wee hill walk with even nicer view. Easy access, parking right at the bottom of the hill.

It never disappoints! I have been during the more muddy days and the sunny days. They are both enjoyable! It can get very muddy and marshy later on the year.

Heard about this through word of mouth, glad to have discovered it! Easy walk only 25 minutes out of Glasgow by car and a really cool Geological feature!

Fantastic views and nice walk for a morning with the dog. Can be busy and car park can fill up so go early. Also the views are amazing on a clear day, save it for then and get views across Loch Lomond and beyond.

Good nice hike for all the family. Would recommend good footwear as it gets quite muddy and a log of bog.The scenery was amazing the whole way.

We drove about 40 minutes from Loch Lomond to visit this place but was disappointed that the walking trail to see any beautiful view would take more than a hour...we didn't do the walking/hiking tour but talked to some people who were leaving the place..they showed us some pictures they took and told us they spent an hour walking...they told us it wasn't worth the hike..they also didn't see those nice places of rocks posted on Google reviews..they said it could take about another 2 or 3 hours to explore further..

Great walk. Great view. Well worth the effort. Take the right fork to see the rock formations.

This was a lovely walk. Good shoes are a must really as it was quite muddy at some places. But well worth it to get around it all and see the views.
