I’d rate this as one of the great hidden gems in Glasgow. A quiet museum to enjoy lovely zoology/animal collections with some peace and quiet. It was good to be in a place where the collections are well annotated and you can explore with minimal disturbance

I love thé Zoology muséum. From its smell to the wonderful exhibits and facts surrounding some of the pieces. For what is quite a small space it is packed with interesting and incredible things. I visit fairly regularly as I don’t retain information very well so its great to learn and relearn about so many incredible creatures. You can find an app too that has some audio that describes a few of the pieces. I found it very interesting.

Small museum packed with interesting animals and birds from all over the world. My five year old was fascinated and we spent a couple of hours here inspecting everything thoroughly. The curator was very friendly and happy to answer my son's questions. It's free and quiet (much quieter than Kelvingrove), and there are very clean toilets on site.

I thought this was a really interesting museum, chock full of things in jars- a great place to take a biologist! It is free to enter and contains three areas of interesting things to see.

Beautiful environment, interesting display though noisy and dusty when we were there due to construction being done.

Amazing animal museum, Me and my son had a great time spent here. So much information on the animals and insects etc. And was great to see them still-life even tho it was a tiny bit creepy lol x

This would be a good place for kids to explore the insect drawers. It’s not the most interactive museum I’ve seen, but there are quite a few questions and things to do to keep kids engaged. There are a wide variety of species here from around the world, yet the museum is small enough you can see most everything in about 30 minutes. It’s good after visiting one of the larger museums nearby.

You'll love all the diverse artwork and artefacts you'll come across in the museum. It really weaves a beautiful story of the cultures and civilizations that came before our own. Very informative.

What a great gallery of treasure and history from Scotland. My favorite part is the collection of nests, which show us that humans aren't the only builders on Earth, and that quite often birds and bugs are way better at building massive structures. Oh and the gems.

Quaint exhibition in a hall in the centre of the campus. Rather dated and not quite what I was expecting.

As a student studying here doing Anatomy, this place is really interesting to me. If you are interested in the history of the Hunter brothers, make sure to have a look at the anatomy museum in thr Thompson building to the left of the main entrance. Haven't been in a while, but they always have some cool new exhibits to show off.

A nice zoology museum close to several other museums and galleries in Glasgow's historic west end. Also it's free.

Very interesting museum. It has a little of everything like most museums in Scotland. Some of it is blah and some if it is superb.

All these photo's above are from the Hunterian museum. Not the Hunterian Zoology museum. The main Hunterian Museum is totaly worth going, it looks amazing. The Zoology museum is not worth visiting. It is more a campus museum for students to learn about Zoology.
