The Vettriano painting of Billy Connolly is my personal favourite of the 3 that was painted in honour of the greatest comedian Glasgow has produced

It's a Vettriano so its always going to be different. The rough surface of the wall makes it difficult to see the outline properly but it's how the artist sees Billy. I like this one because it's about Billy's personality. Built a beer garden around it now. - surprisingly called Billy's - attached to the Hootenanny bar.

Mural of Billy Connolly is just same taken from a photograph..No innovation added to the artwork!! So looks pretty normal compared to other great murals of the city!!

This mural of the famous Glasgow comedian Billy Connolly is part of the Glasgow mural trail, it's on the side of a gable end at the well known bar Hootenannys where the enterprising owner has built a beer garden, there's 20 murals on the mural trail, what about a pub crawl?

While its my least favourite of the three new murals celebrating his 75th, its probably the one that's most like him and his mannerisms. This was the first of the three, with an early depiction of Billy displaying a storm-lashed comedian at John O’Groats
