Sadly I couldn’t get up to it in my wheelchair but could see the monument from the road. It’s free to visit and no ticket buying is necessary.

Celtic cross as a reminder that Wallace stayed here before he was captured by the English.

No gift shop and the toilets were miles away the good thing is that you do t need to book ahead. If you face north some stunning views of rolling hills with grass and some trees the view south is just of new built houses

Good walk up quite a steep hill to get there, but definitely worth the visit. If you walk up, there are many stops with historical details and beautifully carved busts. But if you aren't able to walk up the hill, there is a shuttle bus that takes you from the visitor centre at the bottom to the front door of the monument

Can't believe how many houses have been built around memorial since I was last here 😁πŸ₯° good to see a couple of Memorial direction signs... more required though.. πŸ₯°

Great walk. Very steep but the have wooden artwork dotted regularly so the kids don't need to do the trek in one go. The can climb, touch and get their photo taken with the wooden statues. Lovely views of Stirling once at the top too. Couple of picnic tables at the top too.

Not really much to see to be honest. Just a wee monument.

Beautiful view, the stairs take a little exertion but I honestly thought hiking up them was fun!

Really cool. It's a hike if you don't take the bus. Fun walk through.
