This park features a large green space with a playground, walking paths, and a basketball court. It is also home to the Richmond Park Community Garden, where visitors can learn about sustainable gardening practices and view a variety of fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Overall, Richmond Park Glasgow appears to be a great destination for outdoor recreation and community engagement.

A beautiful, quiet place for a nice long walk along the lake. We went in the peak of winter. I'm sure, summer would be even better!

Nice park and have never seen so many swans, geese & ducks in such a small park. Unfortunately the park doesn't seem to be keeped well or looked after. Broken bins, covered in litter and part of the park is blocked off with building work.

Something worth exploring when you are in Glasgow, all green view of the fields . Clyde walkway where you can walk along side Clyde river. Pond with swans and fresh air. Make it perfect spot for nature lover. Highly recommend.

It was a fantastic place back in the day until Glasgow City Council decided it was worthless land on their outskirts and never maintained it, hoping it would overgrow and burn down, like all the other buildings in the gorbals deemed NOT WORTHY.

Its a very small park nowadays. Really on the pond and paths around it. Plenty of wildlife. Snapped deer, a variety of different birds. Its not a day out but if you are looking to spend an hour watching the wildlife and letting time ease by its worth a visit.

Visited as was using the boating pond used by members of the Richmond Park Model Boating Club, wasn’t disappointed and although building works are nearby the park was well maintained and being used by numerous families. A good days sailing by me also with thanks to members of the club.

It's a great park with so much you can do there, you can climb artificial rocks, do cycling, skating. Kids can play in the kids park on slides and swings and so much more. Although i wish the car park was nearer as it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the main place in park.

We have been taking our daughter (autistic) to Richmond Park for years. We always enjoy a walk around the pond.

Had a quick look at the pond after leaving the Jenny Burn. Much better . Been cleared of rubbish and the water clearer . Plenty of Swans with young and other wild birds, also bats flying about. There with family and the others spotted the bats. Too quick for me.

  • 5/5 Mark G. 1 year ago on Google
Handy place to find, plenty of activities round the pond (model boats and bird life) there's also a bar/kitchen next to it

Lovely pond and awesome swans and ducks! Seems the GCC have closed half of the park off for another concrete jungle! Glasgow City Council........ GCC ......... when are you going to install some disabled toilets, eco bins and maybe a wee drinks stand? (Ps I won't hold my breathe)

  • 3/5 William W. 7 months ago on Google
Well I will start with what a shame they have butchered this park. It's mostly been turned into a building site. Their is a small walk around the pond which is great. No toilets. Parking was in the Jenny burn restaurant site which before used to be park. Great for wheel chair users. Nice flat levelled walk around the pond. This park gets three start for the walk around the pond but really there is nothing here. No play area. No toilets. All taken away for use of builders.

There is and has been for decades a boat club for sailing hand made boats in the large pond which has geese swans ducks like people like myself brought up in the area as a child I called it the ducksy also there’s the bar and restaurant called the Jenny due to the burn flowing through into the pond

Bird guano everywhere, brown puddle of a pond, first and last visit.

  • 5/5 Steven M. 3 years ago on Google
Hope they fix the pond so it's not stagnant puddle. Also hope they are sticking to the skateboard park as the area is badly needing this!

  • 1/5 Maria S. 3 years ago on Google
Richmond park today was a disgrace i was shocked to be honest...the first visit today since last year...pond was filthy parts of it ducks and swans could actually stand at one end..rubbish at other end near small bridge...bins were a disgrace...as most of the park is closed off the rest that is left should be maintained to a higher quality...i cant see me taking any of my grandkids there anytime soon..

  • 2/5 Robb 5 years ago on Google
Such a shame that the council and developers are ignoring this park, and even if your a responsible dog owner you'd need waders to put the butt nugget bags in the poo bin as it's in the pond. I really hope the council use some of the vast increases in council tax properties from.all the new builds to bring this park back in use.

Much of park currently closed. Pond and swans still accessible though.

Looking very run down. Building work going on all around the park, only the duck pond is left along with the boathouse. I grew up close to here and it's sad to see the park in such dissaray.

The park is poorly maintained and most of it appears to be being lost to development and fenced off, it's a disgrace

Another park destroyed by glasgow city council to build even more houses. This was my local park growing up and so sad to see it ripped out of the area by private developers.
