I was there last evening. I see the criminal butchery and total DEVASTATION at the hands of those VANDALS called the "council" have been at it and killed the park. By cutting down all my favourite elder and blackthorn trees and by removing the shrubbery along the perimeter fence, it has invited ALL the traffic noise from Auldhouse road, INTO the park, thus rendering it useless as an escape from said noise, not to mention the fruit no longer available for picking come the autumn. I just HATE councils for what they are doing just now. This was a GREAT park, my favourite occasional dog walk. My kitchen overlooks Queen's Park but I never go there because of the bikes RACING through. There is NO justification for adults on bikes in any public park. I am BEREFT at the loss of the trees and shrubs

A small but pleasant place to go for a walk and enjoy the buzz of nature. Perfect for a short stroll and it has a small play-park for toddlers and a safe small place for a kick around with the ball.
