Chilled out area to enjoy a stroll. Not a taxing walk, all on the level so can be enjoyed by everyone. Suitable for prams, wheelchair users, small children on bikes, walking and joggers. Café on site although closed when visiting today at around 9am. Enough parking, installed EV charging points on site. Lots of benches surrounding water. Opportunities to get up close to the ducks, geese and swans. Liked the wishing well provided by the East Kilbride Rotary club.

Lovely Park that has a little bit to offer every person. Paved pathway for wheel devices around a body of water. Many different car parks depending where you wish to start. Cafe and facilities. Total loop distance (tbc). Lovely nature walk. Dog friendly. 2 different play areas. Water sports are offered here through a company.

Full of nature, some amazing views and jogging track is the real beauty of this park. If you want to do some running or walk faster, then visit during off peak time.

Good place to see some sailing, come across large number of ducks, swan. Buy tickets for sailing in advance as they operate on specific days and in a specific time period. MOST IMPORTANTLY - don't rely on public transport or uber to return from this place as most likely no uber or taxi is available from here. The nearest train station is about 1.2-1.5 miles walking.

Great place to walk in all weather. With a nice, reasonably priced cafe. 4 times around the Loch is 5km.

Nice gentle walk. 1.2km around the water. Almost completely flat and smoothly paved. Lots of benches around for resting. Would be a good place for someone working on mobility, or if they are a wheelchair user. Walking path in close proximity to blue badge parking bays. Seems very accessible.

Lovely walk around the pond, where there are all types of birds, kids can take to the pond with boats where there are supervised people watching to make sure kids are safe while put on the water... nice tea room where you can try the homemade scones (delicious) and sit out on the balcony and take in the splendid view.... definitely worth the visit.

This is a nice gentle walk around a body of water, it's great to see the ducks and the swans, I grew up here and I remember fondly the bumper rides I used to do. They have a cafe here which is nice but a little on the pricy side, and there's a childrens park attached to the park. I would even say the walk is accessible for all since there are no hills and you can see almost the full track which is nice too. In the middle you can see an island where you can witness the baby birds when it is the season!

Beautiful spot even if it was very chilly. The tea and coffee building sorted out the old bones lol. Lovely lady served us and it was great. We'll worth a visit.

A great walk. The geese and swans have all had chicks and it's lovely to see the wild life. However watch your feet when walking as the path is covered in geese poo. Lovely outlook especially when the sun is out.

Lovely wee park to do a few laps of the pond. Enjoy watching the birds and cafe is in a good spot. Playgrounds could do with a wee bit more but generally good.

Lovely place for a walk with the kids. Very clean and tidy paths and park areas, well equipped playing areas for toddlers, again clean and tidy. Nice and friendly staff in the tea room, inexpensive food and drink with clean toilet area although some were out of order when we visited. Nice wee place to spend a few hours with the grandkids. Ample parking during the week but may be full at weekends.

Lovely park to walk round. Not particularly big, takes about 20 minutes to walk all round it. Lots of birds to see. Café there too. Small play park for little ones. Ample parking if you come by car.

I like it here, there are swimming birds, people walking, people talking, families enjoying, and me sitting in my car now and then. It is easy access has ample parking and apparently you can charge up your car there. I was in the cafe twice I think with gran but it was so long ago, and I only used the bathroom. I'm sure it's still very nice for everyone. Go there enjoy some cake, watch the birds.

Great wee place for a 20 min walk...walking near water is good for the soul 👍 Get yourself a hot drunk from the cafe before you trek... there is a large sitting area, and with a massive outdoor balcony looking over the water, it looks so tranquil and get some great pictures aswell... I like it..and it's local too

Great park for family dog walks. It's maintained well however on my visit there was quite a few memorial trees uprooted and the water bumper cars have seen better days. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times which I prefer. It took me 15 minutes at a brisk pace to complete a lap. It was beautiful to see the birds and their chicks. There is a small play park for children.

Great place to get a nice stroll with the kids. Very windy but so make sure if you go to wrap up. Good place for people looking to run on flat surface or people wanting to get a good amount of walking in without walking the streets

Top tip, take a canoe or even a paddle over to the swan estuary. (4 minute swim). The foliage over there is naturally beautiful, we saw many different species from Toads to Lesser spotted oyster catchers. Please just be careful not to disturb any cygnets, they can be sensitive and skittish. Be sure to stop off at the cafe for a latte and perhaps some millionaires shortbread, alternatively bring a flask.

Had a coffee with friends in the riverside cafe which overlooks the Loch- lovely views of sun glistening n the still surface. Lots of folk enjoying the walk round too. Loads of benches to take a breather and the circuit isn’t too much for young and old. Disappointed that the cafe menu has no V signs for us vegetarians and today there wasn’t even the option of an egg roll. Cheese toastie was tasty and service was spot on- friendly and quick.

Great cafe by the lake in a gorgeous park, staff we're very helpful. A great selection of cakes and food at reasonable prices. The ideal place to go, especially if your children are doing watersports on the lake.

Lovely walk and fascinating watching all the different species of birds. Good play area for the little people. Could do with bigger car parking

It's a very short walk about 15 Min taking your time. Nice tarmac walk no issues if you have a pram/buggy or someone in a wheel chair. But rap up warm as the wind chills you to the bone as it's very open. There's a small play park for younger children. Plenty of parking as well.

A lovely walk around a very pleasant lake. Stopped by the cafe for a coffee. After a 15 minute wait with no employee coming to us at the barrier. There were 2 staff behind the counter during this time. Finally we were asked if we wished to sit inside or on balcony. We said inside please. As the staff had not cleared any tables we were advised a further wait of 10 minutes due covid cleaning would be needed. As one of our party had limited mobility and further standing was an issue we said we would leave. Thoroughly unsatisfactory customer service and a very frustrating experience. Avoid.

Nice 1 mile walk around the loch, 2 small playparks for the kids, brilliant water sports facilities

This is a lovely open park, theres a great nature walk with a tarmac footpath, so it's easy for wheelchairs and prams, and theres also a nature reserve on the lake. It has an enclosed kids play are with soft wood chip on the ground. Ample parking, although the park can become very popular and busy at times. A Cafe is available for teas and coffees and snacks or lunch, and they do take away. Theres lots of swans, geese, and ducks walking around, on the footpath at bits. Very open aspect, and can be very cold, even if the sun is shining, particularly when out of season. Warm clothing necessary I find.

👍👍 Just had my first visit with my 20 month old son. He isn't as mobile as other children his age. So I was really pleased to see such a large play area for his age group. There were lots of foam block for us to build towers with. He really enjoyed the little activity walls and the little blue sensory...
