I stayed here as a treat to myself as it seemed fancy and had a spa bath. Realistically this is more of A bed and breakfast feel than a hotel feel but I made good use of the spa bath which was much needed and amazing. The bed was super comfy. And the furniture and lighting made for some nice photos. Some light redecorating could freshen things up greatly. The lack of a lift was rough but I managed. Staff were helpful but the information sheet was pretty faded and basic. It's a period building and so my room felt massive but that also comes with some noise through the windows and from other rooms spa baths. Overall I feel I got my moneys work for a more luxurious bed and breakfast.

The staff were nice. The hotel is in need of a refurb but the room was big and beds were comfy enough. Breakfast was ok. Overall, I felt the price I paid was a bit high for what it was.

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Glasgow’s West End and it’s walking distance away from the Botanic Gardens and Glasgow university. The rooms are comfortable and quiet and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly throughout my short stay. Warm breakfast was tasty with complementary continental buffet! All in all, great experience.

Stayed for a weekend, arrived and wanted to shower but the water ran brown…water for the toilet, sink and shower all seemed to come from the same place, a very noisy system that is heard when other rooms use their own. Poor breakfast, uncooked sausages and a poor selection.

Stayed here for a week and couldn’t have been happier! Great location near the university (we were there to visit it) and Ashton Lane (we spent a lot of time there!!). Everything is in walking distance and the room was HUGE! I was expecting a traditionally smaller room and beds, but this room was enormous and the beds large and comfortable. You need to be a little self sufficient because they give you a code to the front door, and each room has a lockbox with the room’s key in it. They have staff, but not hovering at the front all the time like you might expect in chain hotels. They staff are very responsive to WhatsApp as a messaging service. There’s lots of breakfast options in the morning. I had the traditional Scottish breakfast and loved it. We only had breakfast on site once. (We were out and about from early to late.) I will absolutely come back here when I’m in Glasgow!!

Helpful reception staff. Lovely reception area, big Edwardian building with lovely original features. Large room with large window overlooking gardens. Tired furniture. Very small shower with wobbly riser rail, and curtain. Good location.

Was booked to stay night of a gig which was cancelled. Hotel took payment the day before and would not refund which is stated in terms and totally reasonable. They refused to respond to emails or even offer a discount for a future booking when the gig was rescheduled. No doubt the hotel then resold the room which we already paid a premium rate for so they've made more than double money on that room and will not even offer us a discount. Pure greed and lack of customer service if you ask me. They also wanted us to pay for parking at a price of 50p an hour which is not normal at all for a hotel, especially outside of city centre. Do not recommend anyone book this hotel unless you are certain that you will be staying. Its also probably for the best that there are no staff on as they were rude and very unhelpful with our booking.

No staff to ask for help or extra milk for our cuppa. Very noisy with traffic in our single glazed room at the top of the hotel, room 10. Very disappointed, especially considering the price. The only positive things I can say is that it was clean and close to my daughter's home!

Always my number one choice of place to stay in Glasgow West End. Beautiful building, great location and good value if you book well enough in advance. Rooms are spacious and retain the caricature of the large victorian ceilings, unfortunately the only downside to that is the ensuites are pushed away into a small space to the side that probably used to be a large cupboard and they are small and in need of refurb but otherwise great and much better than other similar places I have ever stayed around here.

Lovely warm small room, scolding hit water, not keen on the no staff onsite and odd key safe entry.. Lovely olde world grand regal feel, definitely worth a good look at Inside. And no breakfast. Covid!

We had a wonderful stay at The Belhaven Hotel. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Even when we had an issue with our shower, they were quick to provide a solution. The hotel is in a great location, close to bars and shops. If we ever return to Glasgow, we will definitely stay there again!
