Apparently
we
were
given
the
"best
room
in
the
house",if
that's
the
case
people
are
very
easily
pleased.
It
was
named
an
"Executive
room
but
when
we
went
to
11th
floor
all
the
rooms
were
called
this.
Yes
it's
roomy
and
bed
is
big
and
very
comfortable
but
very
dated.
Bathroom
was
nice
and
clean
but
behind
the
times,an
old
standard
bath
with
shower
above
and
shower
curtain!
Very
cold
and
when
we
told
reception,as
we
needed
additional
towels,nowhere
to
dry
them,they
explained
none
of
the
towel
heaters
were
operational
due
to
them
being
too
hot
and
dangerous
when
in
operation!
Surely
you
would
fix
this
issue
before
calling
a
room
"the
best
in
the
house!"
Tea&coffee
facilities
usual
basic,other
places
priced
the
same
or
less
offer
coffee
machines,dressing
gowns,slippers
and
decent
biscuits
not
the
same
as
you'd
be
given
in
hospital
or
a
nursing
home.
Good
mirror's
where
they
should
be,enabled
me
to
do
hair
and
make
up
but
take
your
own
hairdryer
as
these
are
ancient
and
you
need
to
keep
your
finger
on
the
button
to
operate!
Breakfast
was
enjoyable
and
buffet
style
but
no
Scottish
produce
eg
haggis,black
pudding
or
potato
scones,maybe
people
visiting
Scotland
would
like
to
try
these.
Also
we
were
going
to
eat
in
the
hotel
on
fri
night
or
even
get
room
service
but
the
menu
wasn't
very
impressive
so
ate
out.
Also
bring
a
plug
phone
charger
as
the
rooms
aren't
up
to
date
yet
and
don't
have
USB
sockets.
Most
staff
are
nice
and
friendly
but
some
just
look
right
through
you
and
don't
speak,not
the
most
welcoming
reception.
Disappointed
for
my
partner
also
who
paid
this
amount
for
2
nights,when
we
could
have
stayed
elsewhere.
