Stayed overnight following an awards evening held at the hotel. Friendly welcome from the staff and quick, efficient check-in with the option to pay on arrival or leave the room tab open to allow food / drinks to be added during the stay. Was given an accessible room rather than a standard room, which was spacious and well set out. Good location with most things within 10mins walking distance.

Was here for two nights. This hotel is 2 mins walk from Glasgow central station. Rooms are very nice and spacious. Very well maintained property. They have a bar at the ground floor and a restaurant as well. All around shopping area and high street market with lots of cafes around and premium clothing brands as well. Service at the breakfast area is very slow but than I guess that's the norm all across UK. Breakfast assortment is decent however nothing for vegetarians except cereals and fruits.

Lovely room, tastefully decorated. An abundance of amenities from the bathroom to the tea tray. My only complaint is that I couldn't access the connectors to the TV to link my device in. Great selection at breakfast. Exceptionally helpful staff (possibly the best customer service I've received at any hotel) Highly recommended if you're staying in Glasgow.

I recently attended an event here, so I haven't commented on the rooms. The venue was clean and well presented. Its lack of parking made it challenging to get stands, equipment, etc. to it. The exhibition area was quite dark, so it was not ideal for visual impaired people. The lunch that was prepared though was tasty and had a good choice for vegetarians.

Apart from our room (514) the hotel and staff were great. The room was very dated and run down, there was also what appeared to be blood splatter on the left wall. Bed was so hard and three separate bulbs didn't work along with one bedside lamp being broken off at the base and obviously discarded never to be replaced. Musty smell too which reminded me of an old smoking room. Slightly disappointed after paying ÂŁ145 for the night. However.....the staff at this hotel especially Sean and Hannah at reception were outstanding, friendly, helpful, very polite and genuinely cared to help. These staff members can't go missing in what is an honest review of my stay. I have also been contacted by the hotel to advise a renovation is underway and the issues I have highlighted will be sorted out. I could have moaned at the time, however, the staff were just too nice and helpful and in reality we only needed a bed for the night. Would I stay again ? Yes very likely and only due to the customer service this hotel offers, it's a very high standard. The hotel itself is beautiful and smells amazing. Facilities are amazing and the food was really decent. Next time I need to book in for a high tea as was slightly jealous at check out seeing the amazing spreads.

I got a room as I was coming to the hotel for an event and thought me and my partner would make a wee night out of it. The whole place is well presented, especially for being in the heart of Glasgow City. The function room and bars where packed, but the staff were professional and hard working throughout. The room was spacious with high ceilings and the bed was very comfortable. There is soaps, shampoos, conditioner, and a hair dryer, along with towles and small toiletries in the bathroom. In the room there was a safe, fridge, tea and coffee facilities, and a writing table and TV. The bed was made beautifully with an option of a soft or firm pillow for each sleeper.

We've stayed at Radisson Blu hotel in Glasgow many times and we keep going back when in Glasgow because it's such a lovely hotel. It's recently been renovated and the rooms are even more gorgeous decor-wise with everything you'd need for an overnight (or longer) stay. We love the great choice for breakfast and it's great for vegan and vegetarian diets too. Radisson Blu is so handy when arriving by train (Central Station is nearby but not too far from Queen Street either) or bus or if driving, you can park nearby and get your ticket validated. There's even a gym and pool which is a bonus. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and next time, we'll hopefully stay for dinner in the hotel too. Well done to Michelle Roberts who always gives us a warm welcome and to the friendly staff too.

I travel a lot for work and pleasure. Unfortunately my stay with Radisson Blue wasn’t as good as my usual stays with Hotels. Upon arrival the desk lady was very much in rush and didn’t give much information e.g. where is breakfast etc. she just gave my room cards that’s all. I upgraded my room in order to have a better room but unfortunately it wasn’t better. Tv and espresso machine wasn’t working. I called the reception regarding the matter but no one was sent. As a premium member I am very disappointed with this hotel. I must mention about a lady called Francesca from Italy. She was very lovely and made sure we enjoyed our breakfast. Unfortunately the rest of the staff didn’t care at all. Overall I am disappointed with the service specially reception staff. It really wasn’t worth of 190£/night. I hope they will improve.

Lovely hotel to stay in. Comfy beds and the rooms were so fresh/clean and had a lovely contemporary feel. Prosecco on arrival is a great touch. Staff were friendly and helpful on the reception. The only thing for me is that the great customer service lacked in the bar restaurant area. They were slow and not very forthcoming. No acknowledgement when waiting at the bar and service Just very poor. But overall great stay.

One of the best city hotels I've stayed in. The rooms are amazing after the recent renovation. The staff were all professional and very welcoming. The breakfast was also delicious. I can't recommend this hotel enough if you're planning a stay in Glasgow.

Stayed one night in a junior suite at the Radisson Blu in Glasgow. The room was lovely. Spacious with a comfortable bed, mini fridge, sofa, table and 2 chairs. The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub. The only downside was the very poor water pressure in the shower. The hotel is in a great location and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend a visit!

Great location and the hotel is lovely. Was really happy with my room when I arrived. It was clean and fairy large. However, was super noisy when I was trying to sleep. There was really loud rock music from about 10pm - 12am. Service in the hotel was very variable. Some of them were lovely and helpful. However a few looked pretty unenthusiastic to be helping you out. On the day I was due to check out, a hotel employee that didn't appear to be housekeeping (couldn't see a trolley out in the hall) entered my room without knocking and when I asked if I could help them with anything, they didn't explain why they were entering my room. They tried entering at about 10.30am and I was allowed to stay in my room until 12pm so no real reason for them to be entering. Was going to mention something when I checked out but seeing as the person at the front desk didn't even ask me how my stay was, I decided not to.

I stayed here during a conference and unusually hot weather for Glasgow. The air con works efficiently and staff are helpful and polite when asking for extra items e.g toilet roll/towels. Usually there is a gym and pool to use onsite, but these are currently closed due to renovations. The renovations do include fairly noisy drilling and nail guns, but for me it was only when I would usually be out and about so didn't bother me too much. The only thing that drastically let's the hotel down is the water pressure. The shower really is just a trickle and it took 5 mins+ of running time before it heated up.

Wonderful hotel in a great location for Glasgow City centre. Usually a bit on the pricey side of bookings when looking for Hotels in the city but if you don't mind spending a bit more then it's definitely a lovely place to stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow and it was truly an exceptional experience. The hotel's location is also worth mentioning. It is conveniently situated in the heart of Glasgow, making it easily accessible to many popular landmarks, shopping areas, and restaurants. I particularly enjoy

Fantastic stay, from the rooms to dinner. Stayed in 513 with my girlfriend and it was such a beautiful fresh room. Dawn looked after us for dinner & provided excellent customer service. From check in to check out, it was a 5* experience which I’ll remember for a long time to come. Thank you Radisson Blu!

Nice rooms, good breakfast, easy access train station, Hop on hop off stop directly in front of hotel. Friendly staff. Don’t forget to order sticky toffee pudding either two scoops of ice cream for dessert!

Was there twice lately. One for a gala, which was brilliant. The other for a spa day. The spa facilities are shocking!!! Sorry, small dirty pool. No jacuzzi. However the massage ladies were too notch!? Could not fault any of the staff actually! Needs serious update tho in the spa facilities, I would not go until that's sorted. Thank you

I stayed here for three nights. Location is good. Staff are veryyy helpful and kind, they try with what they have to help you. Sean from the reception was so welcoming and I needed that as I was by myself; to be honest he was almost the friendliest person I met in Glasgow and I only saw him in check in and out; most people wont say hi or smile; unfortunately! So when someone is friendly I really appreciate it. We human beings, we need connection ☺️😇

My family and I stayed here for one night after flying in from the US for our Scotland vacation. The hotel was easy to get to with parking just a short walk away. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. My husband and son had breakfast the next morning and unfortunately both were very ill within hours of eating, but I cannot say from what exactly. The room was clean and comfortable, despite the construction noise from ongoing remodeling activities. Overall, this hotel was good for a short stay.

Really nice hotel with a great breakfast. Staff all attentive and polite, particularly breakfast team. Room was a good size although it took a day to figure out the air con. Great location in the city. On street parking is free from 6pm till 8am so perfect for my business trip.

Handy location right next to the train station. Beds are comfy, quiet rooms and nice powerful shower. Even let us leave our backpacks the next day while we shopped. Would definitely recommend the breakfast, best I've ever had at a hotel. Lots of choices, with hot food, pastries, bread and alternative milks.

I love the location and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The decor is super cool, and our room was large and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable . This is a personal gripe regarding the pillows, which I didn't find comfortable at all, but that's just one of these things. The shower water pressure left a lot to be desired. More of a trickle than a power shower. The room was very clean and the cleaners were happy to help with extra towels etc.

I have stayed a great deal at the Radisson in Glasgow. I am a VIP Rewards Member with over 1 Million Points such is my loyalty. As part of my membership if there are upgrade rooms available I am supposed to receive the best available at the hotel. I booked two Premium Rooms and was checked in. I was initially checked in however when I got to the room the room key didn’t work so I had to go back to reception. I requested if there are any upgrade (Junior Suites) free and told there wasn’t by Laura on reception. On my Radisson App it clearly showed there was. I questioned this and Laura went into the back to speak with a manager, miraculously she came back and found two upgrade rooms. I went to room and again the room key failed. The whole check in debacle lasted around 40 minutes which is frustrating when you’re going to be late for a meeting. Outside room 645 (my initial room) the wall was absolutely damaged to that what you would expect from a one star hotel. I have stayed at this hotel my times and this experience is not consistent with what it normally is. To be told there was not upgrade available then to find out there was shows a reluctance to upgrade and reward loyal Radisson VIP members on this occasion. Very disappointing experience rewarding loyalty.

Couldn’t get a better location for everything we were in Glasgow for. Hotel was stunning, room was immaculate and Staff were all friendly and helpful. We spent the night in the bar, we had plans to go out and eat but there was a singer in the bar (lee Copeland I believe) he was awesome, brought such a good vibe to the place. Couldn’t fault our stay at all.

Had an overnight here with breakfast & dinner included. The rooms are lovely, clean & fresh & the food was delicious. I need to mention the lovely staff that looked after us, Stacey at check in, Cindy who helped us out with the air con. Dawn looked after us in the restaurant, she provided such a great service, nothing was a bother to her. Also reece, Liam & Michael in the bar. Thank you. This has just become my new favourite hotel, close to some great pubs, shops, cash points. A must.

The location is perfect. PERFECT. The hotel is also good. Heated pool and fitness center was good. Hotel staff was also cooperative and courteous. Room size decent, bathroom size little small, but ok. Remaining nothing extraordinary, but as a 4 or 4.5 star can be.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Staff friendly. Breakfast excellent. My only small negatives are there are no USB sockets in the room , mirror is too high above the desk/dressing table and lighting is poor for doing makeup etc.

Location: Brilliant location just footsteps away from Glasgow Central Station, and walking distance from many vibrant (according to Glasgow standards) places. Rooms: Quite spacious and clean. Excellent service. The view is not good though (at least for my room, not sure if they have any nice views).

Had a 3 night stay at the Radisson Blu. Very centrally located (next to Glasgow central station), express bus to the Airport dropped off nearby too. The hotel was smart, clean and service from all staff absolutely exemplary. The restraint and bar staff were especially friendly which I appreciated greatly. My room was clean and well appointed, if a little dated in places but certainly still very comfortable. The bar is well stocked, and a lovely place to have a drink and relax. Overall, a really decent stay.

I stayed here for a weekend break in Glasgow. The hotel was great, the room had everything we needed. The hotel bar was fully stocked with a huge selection, including many single malts. The breakfast was great, huge selection all buffet style with the option for specially made food.

  • 5/5 Irina 1 year ago on Google
We went for an afternoon tea, which was a buffet style, with a sweet and savoury table. Savoury sandwiches and tarts were absolutely delicious and I couldn't get enough of them, just as well it was unlimited buffet. Teas and coffees included. Sweet table had melt-in-your mouth macaroons and a selection of sponge cakes and fruit. Oh, and of course there were fruit and plain scones with jam and cream.

Lovely stay here for my nephews wedding. Staff were extraordinarily helpful which made checking in easier. Rooms were roomy and clean. Bed was far too soft and squidgy for me and the pillows were quite, plump and firm. I am fussy but I do wish hotels would offer a pillow menu with feather ones as an option (I did bring my own!) The rooms are well appointed with a safe, fridge, ironing board, tv, lamps etc, etc. Excellent location and as I say I am a fussy bed person but other than those niggles worth a stay if in Central Glasgow
