Excellent value, and a top class bed. Good breakfast, and lovely staff throughout. Only negative, whilst our room was at the end of a corridor, and away from the road (usually not an issue at Premier Inns anyway) - but we were next to a room marked 'private' - which must have been a service lift - as we heard it operating quite a bit through in the very early hours. Not ideal, but not worth losing a star over.

In all honesty, probably the worst Premier Inn I have ever stayed in. From the customer service, to the rooms and even the check out. From the start it was an issue, it's the most unappealing Premier Inn from the outside. Upon checking in a friend and I noticed an issue, we were given a double room instead of a twin, we raised this and was told that the hotel was completely full and nothing could be done. We insisted that this issue be sorted as we wanted two separate beds. Shortly after a new room was given, similar to our last but with two single beds instead of a double. The over all cleanliness of the room wasn't to a high standard nor was the decoration. Day 1 we went down for breakfast, almost no choices, this was at 8am so quite a shock considering it wasn't like we had gone down at the end of service. Day 2 was slightly better. Just over all not a nice experience of our first trip to Glasgow.

Paid £75 for 2 nights so obviously a good deal. However, hotel is very dated, poor from both outside and inside. You can hear people in nearby rooms very clearly which I've never had a problem with in other Premier Inns. Staff were very friendly and helpful and it was a decent price but must say it's probably the worst Premier Inn I have visited and if I return to Glasgow I would probably look at another one of their hotels instead!

Can't say anything much that hasn't been said before. It looks God - awful from the outside, but a lot nicer inside. There's a small Costa at reception too, which had a decent selection considering how small it is. The staff were pleasant (although I didn't speak much to anyone) enough, and the room was clean, but really in need of being modernised to bring it in line with other Premier Inns. The worst Premier Inn I've been to, but clean, tidy, and good value for money. Oh, and an air conditioned room would be amazing. I'd have payed extra for that, as it was stifling.

Usually Premier Inn's are dependable for cleanliness and quality. This particular hotel is the exception. Though I will say this the staff were excellent. This does not look to have been purpose built by Premier Inn. More likely a previous hotel they've taken over. It doesn't appear that they've upgraded the rooms much, bed boards and a lick of paint. The restaurant and bar appear newish. So there's none of that sheen that purpose built hotels have. Our view the weekend we were there was terrible; air ducts and office, and the bathroom had mouldy (see pictures) walls. It was a lot cheaper than the other Premier Inn that was in Glasgow, that maybe why. Its saving grace were its staff from the receptionist, the lovely waitress and the maid, all were so friendly and helpful.

After reading some bad reviews I was a bit apprehensive about staying here. I shouldn't have worried though. My room was very clean and not 'tired '. Due to mobility problems I always book an accessible room and my bathroom was much bigger than any I've had before with many more safety rails giving more confidence in the shower. The most important 5 stars go to the staff. They couldn't have been friendlier or helpful. This is my new favorite Premier Inn.

Doesn’t look the best from the outside but on the inside is very nice, modern and clean. Room was nice and tidy, large comfy bed and the bathroom was nice and clean with good shower. Only downsides were the heating in the room which was only a small electric heater and not much of a view out the window. Could be quite noisy at the weekend as loud music from the bar next door but stopped fairly early. Overall a good hotel well worth the money and also breakfast is good value.

I was unimpressed with this hotel. Premier Inns have a standard but this one stands well below standard! It needs a big spruce up! There is no sound proofing both from outside and neighbouring rooms. Because it is on the main road you can hear all the traffic. Other Premier Inns have sound proof windows that help. The rooms have no air conditioning but a small heater which is rubbish at heating the room. The bathrooms are really dated and small. To top it, I couldn’t even order porridge for breakfast as the chef was too busy. I had to put in an order for the next day which is ridiculous for something you add milk to and put into a microwave. Other guests paid for cooked breakfast but couldn’t get anything that wasn’t already laid out. Not good.

Friendly staff who were very helpful but the hotel is in need of some tlc. Our remote for the TV had a battery missing, mold spots in the bathroom which could easily be removed but hasn't been, just little niggles like that but obviously Whitbread's can't be bothered to spend money on this so it'll get worse as time goes on which is a shake as the staff are great! Good hotel though if you just need cheap and cheerful for a night or two

Pleasant enough for a business trip but wouldn't choose for a holiday. Staff are really helpful, food is reasonable. Room was very tired looking and dated (could do with a major refurb) but bed/linen clean and comfortable. On the whole as a base and somewhere to get your head down it's not bad.

You do online check-in to speed up time waiting for room but still have to que. Not quick check in machines. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Thyme restaurant not open until 5pm. Had 20 minutes wait between starter and main and there was only 3 tables seated rest empty. Food was good as was portion. we had 2 courses and glass of wine for £16 (meal deals). No longer restricted to set menu, choose from anything. Beds lovely and comfortable as expected and slept well. Heating is a decent electric convector heater so just flick switch and on it comes. No messing about with these horrible wall controls and you end up with cold air. Would book again.

👍👍 An excellent experience at Miller and Carter tonight. The food came out quickly and was so incredibly delicious - the steak was cooked to perfection and the beef dripping sauce was to die for! All steaks come with house fries they can up upgraded to chunky chips or sweet potato fried but we honestly...
