The
experience
of
dealing
with
and
staying
at
the
Acorn
was
a
pleasure
from
start
to
finish.
I
booked
a
room
for
my
elderly
mother
in
law
to
be
somewhere
handy
for
a
big
family
gathering
in
central
Glasgow
and
she,
and
we,
were
made
to
feel
like
valued
guests
throughout.
The
online
direct
booking
system
was
efficient
and
effective,
reception
dealt
with
my
special
requests
very
quickly
and
always
with
a
perfect
understanding
of
what
was
needed.
The
Acorn
is
in
a
very
pleasant
location,
within
walking
distance
of
both
the
city
and
the
West
End
and
yet
peaceful
and
very
safe
feeling.
The
building
is
well
maintained,
small
enough
to
be
personal
but
large
enough
to
have
a
little
bit
of
thoughtfully
designed
public
space.
Both
the
bedroom
and
the
breakfast
areas
were
clean,
comfortable
and
well
serviced.
The
staff
on
duty
during
our
stay
could
not
have
been
more
friendly
and
were
quietly
thoughtful
to
our
needs
throughout.
Our
family
of
four
joined
Mum
for
a
perfectly
cooked
to
order
leisurely
Sunday
breakfast.
I
have
stayed
at
hotels
across
the
globe
of
every
size,
shape
and
star
rating
for
work
and
pleasure,
and
I
can
honestly
say
it
was
an
absolute
pleasure
to
discover
this
gem
in
the
city
where
our
hearts
lie.
