Don't be fooled by the grubby looking exterior of the building. Inside is a lot better. Ideal central base for our two day working visit to Scotland. Rooms were well turned out, comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was of a good standard and lots to choose from. Small gym but has everything you need for a good workout. Would not like to see it with more than one person in though. Personal mention for Billie who was the night manager (doing her first shift in charge) the night we arrived. Could not have been more helpful, cheerful and engaging. Helped sort out some minor admin snags with efficiency. Thank you. Location is great for visiting Glasgow. Only downside was on the back of the hotel where the services come in it is noisy.

Friendly staff and excellent facilities with decent gym. Breakfast food has plenty of choices of hot and cold foods. Good sound proofing despite being on a busy road.

Stayed for 4 nights, the front desk/ reception team were the only reason I’ve given a star. They are extremely friendly and they deal with all requests quickly. The room on the other hand was small and dirty. The minute I got in I noticed a mark on the curtain, then going into the bathroom I noticed a mark on the shower floor. I trued to wash my hands and the sink literally leaked out from the pipes onto the floor. The shower oh my, that shower is like the Atlantic Ocean there is not an ounce of warmth in that. I suffered I couldn’t believe a shower could be so cold. The hotel itself is accessible and I was happy that I could control the temperature of the room but in terms of cleanliness of rooms if I could give it 0 stars it would have got it. I’ve never wanted to get out of a hotel room faster. But aside from that, the concierge team are great and they are very kind and helpful, it’s a shame the rooms overpower that.

I’ve stayed here twice now and it’s in a really good location in the city! Not too far from either train station, about a 8-10 minute walk. The staff is super friendly, they always make sure to put me in a quieter facing room when they see I’m staying for 5-6+ nights. Overall, they have one of the best continental breakfasts for a Hampton! Everything is fresh! They have the traditional Scottish breakfast items including haggis and baked beans. The rooms are a tad smaller but that seems to be usual for Glasgow Central. My only personal preference is a softer bed and these beds are on the really really firm side.

Excellent hotel for the price. Modern, clean. Nice location, close enough to the East end attractions and restaurants. Rooms were clean and quiet. Delicious free breakfast. Best of all were the staff. They were all courteous, helpful and so respectful. First time in Scotland and they represented Glasgow superbly. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a great overall experience here! Stayed for 2 nights. The room was very spacious and felt more open than most hotel rooms. Bathroom had a large shower and was kept clean. The reason I deducted a star is because the bed is horribly firm. Struggled to get comfortable through the night. Every single member of staff was extremely friendly and delightful. The free breakfast had a large selection and was great. I highly recommend this hotel! (If you can get past the rock hard bed)

The walk from Glasgow Queen station to this hotel is one of the prettiest walks in the city. It allows you to absorb and embrace the atmosphere of Glasgow, in all its post-industrial cool. Victorian ornamentation and postmodern chic synthesise elegantly here, and the positioning of the hotel offers a palpable cross-section of that ethos. The hotel breakfast is also quite good, and it gave me my first taste of haggis.

Great location for our visit, however no bottled water or fridge in the room, it was clean but window locked & would not open, shower a bit low on pressure. Smoke alarm over bed lit up intermittently throughout the night which was annoying reported to reception, they provided eye masks. Woken 6.30am by sound of water through pipes maybe a/c which we had switched off? Breakfast just ok scrambled eggs not to my liking. Staff very friendly. Not sure if I would stay again.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff where all very pleasant. The room was clean and beds made every day. We had one problem of a large stain on carpet and chewing gum on carpet. When told the reception staff we where offered a different room.

Well located hotel. Stayed here as part of Ticketmaster concert tickets. Staff very courteous and allowed us to check in early at 10am. Rooms are spacious clean and well appointed. Breakfast is free and staff all very helpful. Deducted one star as I did feel the fried breakfast items need improvement. Second day we just had cereal coffee and toast. With breakfast being included it is totally sufficient.

The hotel has a central location and all major attractions are easily accessible. The staff is warm, helpful and polite.. unlike other big city hotels. We had a morning tour on the last day, had to check-out and requested if we could leave our bags in storage for a few hours. The ladies at the reception were most efficient, personally tagged and put the bags in storage. Complimentary tea-coffee in the lobby area was most appreciated on rainy days. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. Will definitely recommend !

Newly renovated, clean, well-lit rooms with spa-grade shampoo/conditioner, hand soap and lotion by the pump. Card access and phone access to rooms. Felt secure as you need card/phone access from ground floor to take elevator. Super quiet rooms despite situated on a main street and bus stop just at the entrance. Full Breakfast was above expectations! Pleasant 20min walk to SEC. Ideal accommodation for those coming for events or conferences. Many many restaurants, supermarkets, bars, malls, theatre and train station within walking distance. Super location!! Above all the staff is super friendly and welcoming! It was a pleasure to stay here and I hope to return again.

We were welcomed well initially although the receptionist thought it more important to chat with a colleague than check us in. Overall cleanliness was great. Cleaning staff did not come into our room until the Sunday (we stayed Friday to Monday) and we had to ask them too. The cleaners only made the bed and put in clean towels. Breakfast was incredible 😋 So much choice and all so delicious. Breakfast staff were friendly, helpful and just amazing. They made the stay a far more positive experience. I guess I expected more from a big brand company The staff in the evening on the bar were inexperienced, sassy and not very great at all. They seemed distracted. Maybe some extra training required here

I visited this place the last August for 3 nights what I liked the most was only the location ..the rooms were tidy from outside however 1- no bottled water & no fridge 2- the level of cleaning the bathroom was very disappointing..I received the room & before using it I found the trash of the bathroom not fully emptied !! a lady cut her hair & used contact lenses & it was still in the trash !! 3- the trash is very tiny not enough for half day use ! not realistic size ..4- found a hair over the shampoo & shower gel bottle & I didn’t trust the place hygiene so I never used or touched their shampoo or shower gel I used my own ..guess what ? same hair stayed there fir the whole 3 nights not touched or cleaned 😖 moreover the hot water in the bath was very limited & I showered with cold water on the last night !! one more thing ..4- only the people at the breakfast area were friendly ..I didn’t like the attitudes of not helping a lady with her heavy luggage & the guy at the reception just watching her suffering in lifting it in & out the door stairs …I do understand that helping witb luggage might not be one of the hotels standards in your country which is very weird !! however I found other hotel staff at same area very friendly & with more encouraging behavior for the visitor to stay ..I’ll never repeat the experience & I don’t recommend it

Two questions. 1) Why do smoke alarms need a massive flashing light on them? 2) If smoke alarms really must have a massive flashing light on them, why put them directly above the bed so that as soon as you turn the light off you get an awful strobing effect in the bed area? Other than the smoke alarm light related issue, the hotel was very nice indeed for a Business stay. The room was very clean and tidy and was serviced to a very high standard both days. The room looked nice and modern and had good facilities, lots of USB chargers and cool pine furniture. The bathroom was large, the shower was also nicely sized and had toiletries already included which was nice. The only downside in the room was that the bathroom door was so stiff it was very difficult to pull closed. The bar area was large and again very clean and tidy and the staff in reception and on the bar were very friendly. The only thing about the bar was that the beer selection was a bit limited but other than that very nice. Breakfast was also very good with nice quality food and was all tidied up and well stocked throughout the morning.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room not cleaned properly, sticky drink dried on floor, previous persons hair on desk. Towels ripped. Hot water was brown. Breakfast good and access to tea and coffee all day a nice touch.

This is my third time in Glasgow since the beginning of January this year and this hotel is the best place I’ve stayed. The location is great, facilities superb, great choice of breakfast items both hot and cold and the staff are professional, friendly and helpful. highly recommend and will definitely return

A very good hotel. Beds are comfortable and breakfast is good. You can't open the windows in the room which makes it stuffy... And one time they didn't clean our room. Other than that, very good.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was well appointed, with personal safe, lots of plug sockets, work area and free wifi. Free breakfast every morning with fruits, waffles, full English coffee, tea, and juices provided. Very centrally located to Glasgow Central train station. I had to stay an extra day because of trains strikes and the person at the front desk gave me the option to book the extra day online to save some money - much appreciated. One star off the room rating because the water from my shower and basin were brown for about 20 seconds, before turning clear.

Everything in this hotel is decent except for the cleanses of this hotel. We stayed here for one night and when we’re sitting down on the floor, we found many crumbs and other stuff. this is really dirty. There is even a glasses under the bed! And many other crumbs on the floor!! The towel have dust in them but other than that, the staff and the service are decent and great location for a hotel. And no I did not made this up. This is real. Overall (1⭐️)

Would book this hotel again, right in the city center so everything that we need was in walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and there were a good choice of hot and cold food. Our queen size room was perfect for a one night stay, modern and clean.

Great location. Lousy window view, carpet worn and beds noisy but comfy. Disturbed by people in other room showering Hotel location is brilliant, parking but expensive £14 per day (mounts up)also parking OK if you know how to exit the building on foot (use the lift not the stairs). Good qualty included breakfast, great staff very helpful; We would stay there again.

Was impressed by the friendly, warm and hospitable staff. Decent gym for a good workout 24/7 was a real treat, also enjoyed the free breakfast, which was a decent spread and really saved the hassle of having to think where to go for one. Rooms were new and comfortable, clean as well. Wish I stayed the next 2 nights in Glasgow here instead of the other hotel I was at.

Excellent hotel in a great location. Just a short walk to the city centre. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Great breakfast. Just a shame the bathroom in our room (402) was very tired and in need of update. Pillows extremely soft and bedding light, but I'm sure they will change that if it bothers you. Free safe.

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any place. This site will compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have prices much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This place is one of the best in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely will love it I'm sure! Very friendly staff. All go out their way to help. Bed nice and firm. Asked for a quiet room and it was. Slept great. Shower was fabulous. Breakfast good too. Very central location. 1 minute from Sauchiehall St. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Friendly and helpful staff on arrival to the hotel. The room was really comfortable and clean. A nice bar to unwind in. Breakfast was a buffet selection of hot and cold foods. I'll definitely visit again.

Functional and practical hotel. You have everything you need and the location is just perfect. Rooms are not big but quite confortable and enough for few days in Glasgow. Complimentary breakfast has enough selection of Scottish breakfast, but also Continental options if that is your taste. Croissants were really good. The hotel is located at walking distance to kind of everything, but it is also easily accesible by car, and provides discount to the parking just across the street.
