It
was
a
last
minute
booking
as
our
previous
booking
in
another
hotel
was
cancelled
on
the
day.
We
wanted
something
central
but
there
was
nothing
available
at
a
good
price,
so
ended
up
at
the
Ibis
Budget.
It
is
a
bit
odd:
the
hotel
is
located
in
a
retail
park
and
is
made
of
three
floors
above
a
large
car
park.
There
is
a
small
door
and
a
lift
to
the
hotel
(reception
on
6th
floor).
Once
the
surprise
passed,
we
actually
had
a
fantastic
experience!
Staff
were
very
friendly
and
welcoming,
the
rooms
simple
but
comfortable,
very
clean
and
functional.
The
beds
were
super
comfy
and
the
sound-proofing
decent
-
we
slept
very
well!
The
shower
was
powerful
and
hot,
and
the
towels
nice.
We
had
games
and
snacks
and
drinks
in
late
afternoon,
all
available
from
the
hotel
reception
and
not
overpriced.
Then
we
went
for
a
night
out:
we
had
dinner
at
Nando's
just
opposite
and
took
one
of
the
numerous
buses
to
the
city
centre.
We
walked
back
-
it
was
only
20
minutes
walk.
The
check-out
at
noon
and
free
coffee
was
a
bonus.
We
had
a
very
nice
experience,
and
will
definitely
consider
Ibis
budget
if
we
have
to
spend
another
night
in
Glasgow.
