Room was spotless, very clean. It smelled nice. It's budget and no frills but modern and well kept. Easy location, just walk over the bridge and you're pretty much on the high street after walking one block. Staff were friendly, including cleaners who said hello. Breakfast was continental, toast, fruit, cheeses, ham, cereal, tea coffee, oat milk available. Just what you need. For the price and service I would absolutely return. the onsite parking is ideal. My only niggle was the mattress was a little bit thin but I slept well!

If you truly don't mind a budget experience then this hotel will suit you fine. The rooms are small but clean. The beds are hard but perfectly OK for a night. It's a bit out of the city centre but surrounded by a variety of restaurants plus a cinema as well as being within walking distance of the armadillo and hydro. TV wasn't working in mine but didn't matter because we had free WiFi.

Small rooms suitable for couples or family only. Very small and Translucent bathroom doors exactly opposite a mirror.. so awkward.. same rooms designs across all cities I guess.. Friendly staff and a decent cafe area for breakfast. Location far from city coach station, reasonable from train station. Has a lot of gaming parlours nad food stores around. Peaceful place.

This place is very budget. There is no kettle or other extras in the room but there is tea and coffee in the reception area and an ironing room if needed. Only discounting a star because the toilet layout in the room is terrible. It was like a closet and was so uncomfortable that I used public toilets (or the one in the reception area) during my stay. But good value and free parking is available.

Great low budget hotel. Ideal place to get your head down after a concert. Its in walking distance of the ovo hydro. Rooms were basic but clean and fine for our needs. Staff were great and vert helpful.

We were visiting Glasgow for a gig at The Hydro which is only a 20 minute stroll away so the hotel is perfectly located for this and the city centre which is also 20 mins walk the other way. Check in was a breeze when we arrived and the room was basic but very clean and comfortable. There is complimentary tea and coffee in the reception area. We came back to the hotel late after the gig and were able to get a night cap from the fridges in the reception area which were very well priced and snacks too. Check out was just as easy and we had a complimentary coffee. All the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful even printing off a map which showed the way to walk into the city centre. All in all this was an excellent experience and great value for money considering the hotels location. We will return for sure. Thank to all at The Ibis Budget, Glasgow

It was a last minute booking as our previous booking in another hotel was cancelled on the day. We wanted something central but there was nothing available at a good price, so ended up at the Ibis Budget. It is a bit odd: the hotel is located in a retail park and is made of three floors above a large car park. There is a small door and a lift to the hotel (reception on 6th floor). Once the surprise passed, we actually had a fantastic experience! Staff were very friendly and welcoming, the rooms simple but comfortable, very clean and functional. The beds were super comfy and the sound-proofing decent - we slept very well! The shower was powerful and hot, and the towels nice. We had games and snacks and drinks in late afternoon, all available from the hotel reception and not overpriced. Then we went for a night out: we had dinner at Nando's just opposite and took one of the numerous buses to the city centre. We walked back - it was only 20 minutes walk. The check-out at noon and free coffee was a bonus. We had a very nice experience, and will definitely consider Ibis budget if we have to spend another night in Glasgow.

Spending time at the Ibis Budget Hotel in Glasgow was a pleasurable experience. Staff were great and extremely helpful. The room was more than adequate and there were plenty of places nearby to eat. A little hard to find the entrance off Paisley Rd meant I couldn't give it a 10/10.

On arrival to ask for early check-in, they very kindly allowed us to take the room straight away. Staff were extremely attentive and helpful. A slightly longer walk than expected to the Hydro, where we were visiting that evening but it certainly didn't affect our stay. A lovely continental breakfast and they even had hot baked beans on offer and allowed you to take food to your room. Brilliant all round for a budget hotel.

This was not a good stay for me. I have stayed at Ibis hotels before and been quite satisfied. I knew this was a budget hotel but expected better for Ā£91.50 a night. The room was extremely cold, without possibility of moderating the temperature. I asked for a heater (having been told by email one would be available if required) and there were none spare. I spent the first evening wrapped in two duvets trying to keep warm. The staff were friendly and helpful and one young woman eventually brought me a heater at 10pm. The location was extremely inconvenient, on a cinema complex far from the centre. I couldn't find anywhere to eat that suited my my dietary needs. There was no food available at the hotel apart from chocolate/crisps and breakfast - expensive for continental. No kettle or even a glass in the room. I felt unsafe waiting for the lift in the isolated vestibule at ground floor level to go up to reception on the 6th floor. One lift was out of order and the other took ages to come and was often too full to use. The shower was cramped but good and hot. Bed comfy. Definitley would not stay here again.

We stayed here after a concert at the OVO. The hotel is within walking distance to the venue, a few places for eating near it too. The hotel itself was clean and the beds were comfortable enough for our night stay. And staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. Only issue we had was people slamming doors in the early hours. For the price though I would stay at this hotel again if I am attending another gig

A pretty decent budget hotel, rooms are of a decent standard though have signs of wear and tear along with some maintenance issues (plaster around windows cracked). The breakfast was passable though I'd recommend keeping the money and going elsewhere especially if the hotel happens to be busy. Staff were lovely and very friendly.

Normal ibis budget. Great price. Wish they had a kettle in the room but worth going without for the price. Cleaned every day. Breakfast not really worth the money and very basic but glad it's available. Absolute steal that it includes parking. So close to the cinema and a group of food places. Was supposed to have a gym discount but the staff didn't know about it

Basic accommodation but perfect if you are looking for overnight or short stay and you arenā€™t going to spend time at the hotel. Not too many amenities. You have to get your tea/coffee from the reception area (cannot make tea in your room). The rooms do not have any cupboard space. Basic but clean!

I stayed at a hotel recently and have a few points to share. The mattresses and pillows were comfortable, and the staff were welcoming. However, the hotel's location near a noisy street was a downside. The room was tiny and didn't offer good value for the price. The bathroom arrangement was inconvenient, with the toilet and shower separated and the sink outside the bathroom. Additionally, the lack of facilities such as a hairdryer, mugs, and a kettle was disappointing. The desk was small and the plastic chair uncomfortable. Overall, while there were some positives, the hotel had several drawbacks.

5 star review when compared to other hotels at the same price range, these rooms can't be compared to higher end stuff. If you want a bed for the night and a private toilet/shower this is all you need. Handy for an overnight before a flight from Glasgow airport Staff were very friendly and accommodating to me and my family. Would definitely use this hotel again

For a budget hotel this was alright. Stayed 4 nights in a twin room. Room was clean, hot water, fresh bedding and towels daily. The staff were incredible, very friendly and welcoming. Parking was great, you can park anywhere in the retail park and Ibis offer complimentary multi-storey. Just log your car registration in at reception. Breakfast can be added onto your room but they offer free tea and fruit juice to all guests. Thereā€™s also a microwave in the common area by reception incase you bring your own food. Before coming I was worried that it would be too much of a ā€˜laddy hotelā€™ but it was quite the opposite, many families and working individuals staying. Only issue I really had was the room cards seem to keep stopping working..happened multiple times throughout the stay. But the staff always sorted this out quickly.

I didnā€™t like at all the concept of this hotel! 3 people in a tiny room that you couldnā€™t even move! After a lot of visit in hotels that was the worst! Even the bathroom was separated in 3 pieces! The sink and the mirror in on-step-distance from the beds, the shower was like a wardrobe, with a ā€œun-transparentā€ door ( believe me you could see everything in there), as well with a sign ā€œPlease donā€™t let the shower on for a long time because the fire alarm will activateā€ šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø that is unbelievable!! Worst experience ever, since you canā€™t feel comfortable with your roommates, except if you are family members.

Really lovely and helpful staff. It was a great room for 3 people. The beds were comfy and the room temperature just right. We all had a really good sleep. Would definitely use it again.

Room was clean and very nice to stay in (stayed in room 634), Staff were really kind and friendly. The only issue i had was the lack/price of the bar/drink area. All drinks are put in a fridge at reception, no actual bar area. Other than that i had a great 2 nights, would 100% reccomend it!

What a fantastic hotel! Really canā€™t fault it. It is very accessible, nothing is too much trouble. The staff are super friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable. Smoking area next to reception which was easy to accessible to and saved going down in lift and out the front of hotel We do struggle to find a wheelchair accessible hotel that is dog friendly but this one certainly was. Very impressed. A special mention to Anna she was an absolute credit to the company.

Staff really kind and helpful. Do not like at all that there's no ventilation for the toilet. Shower it's ok. Good that you can set up your own central heating. Floor of the room did not look really clean, same for the shower. Pillows were like a stone. They provide some free facilities with some coffee, juice and tea.

Excellent budget hotel. Suited us for one night. My only slight complaint isn't he weird smell. However for a cheap nights sleep I can over look it. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

Rooms are basic and clean; in line with the budget price point. Location is okay, but the walk into town is not that nice; obviously not the hotels fault. Where the place really showed its budget price tag was the staff. Reception staff were ok. However, the fire alarm went off at midnight and the chaos of the evacuation was compounded by the complete lack of information and incident management. It became very apparent that there is a need for further staff training on managing guests during an event such as this.

First of all, cannot fault the staff at all. They were amazing and the only reason that iā€™m giving 2 stars instead of 1. My girlfriend and myself arrived to stay the night, we had a concert and just wanted somewhere to crash for the night. The rooms are extremely basic, very small, Iā€™d compare it to a ward. The toilet is so cramped and smaller than you can imagine. The beds have mattresses that are about 2 inches thick and are foam, so it felt like i was sleeping on a table. Not worth the Ā£85 a night. When we were there, there was a couple arguing horribly, they were screaming obscenities and throwing themselves around the room beside us, we were terrified. Other guests were also scared. The staff were exceptional with this, and we cannot praise them enough.

We had a family room with a bunk bed over the top of the double bed. The steps were sticky and rusty and you couldn't see where you were going to come back down them, making them very unsafe and u comfortable to step on without shoes. My child slept in the double bed and I took the bunk bed for that reason. We had to sleep with the light on in the event that I needed to get up during the night and had to wake up my partner to verbally guide me down the steps. The skirting boards were dirty as was the single bedding which had a stain on it. I would not stay here again as even budget hotels should maintain a good standard of cleanliness and not put you at risk of an accident just by going to bed.

Basic low cost hotel. Staff friendly and helpful, even the cleaning staff said good morning as we passed them in the corridor. Great location just far enough away from the city centre to be reasonably quiet, remembering this is a bustling city, but short walk to the heart of the city. Rooms clean and have the basics. Not luxury but as a place to lay your head at night it is good. I found the bed a bit firm but everyone will have their own view. At Ā£49 for a room for three people can't beat the value for money.

Itā€™s low cost hotel in the center. We arrived at midnight and the lovely staff helped us to check in. We had one room for 3 persons with basic equipments, beds, table. Everything was cleaned. We had only one clothes hanger, there wasnā€™t any cabinet. The hotel serves tasty breakfast, for example eggs, toast, ham, vegetables, fruit, oat meal and many more.

I've given the rooms 3 stars but not in a bad way, as they are basic which is reflected in the price. We only needed a bed for the night and a shower in the morning so was quite happy with the room. No t or coffee etc in room but was on offer at reception area with seating area. Room was clean. Free car parking.
