This is by far the best hotel experience I’ve had in the UK! The staff were beyond amazing, from the doorman, to reception, to cleaners, to the porters, to the dining staff…everyone just smiled heartily and treated us so very well. The breakfast options were lush, the decor beautiful, I could go on and on. Definitely coming back.

Amazing location. Staff are faultless and are the standard of a four star. Rooms were great and all facilities were thought of. Only concern was that i found 20p by the bed, I looked under it and its caked in thick dust. Not marked down as it not important to me but worthy feedback. Many thanks.

Great location in the heart of Glasgow.. We received a very warm welcome at the hotel. Very comfortable room. The selection of food at breakfast was outstanding, we particularly enjoyed the range of smoked fish. Our stay was the icing on the cake for our Christmas visit to town.

Stunning hotel located in the middle of Glasgow, an ideal base for exploring the city and beyond. I liked how the building has retained so many original features it almost feels like entering a bygone era, yet it's not old fashioned. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. However, they would benefit from a dressing table or better lighting round the mirror. Breakfast is good and staff were friendly and helpful.

I'm at the hotel now and checking out today after a 2 night stay. The staff are all great; friendly, helpful and will do anything for you. The room is big, with a very spacious bathroom which has an excellent shower over the bath. The shower gels, shampoos, creams etc are very nice too. The large bedroom has all you need and the bed is so comfortable too. The hotel's location is perfect.

My travel companion and I each stayed in a single/twin room for one night passing through Glasgow. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was huge with a nice deep tub. The bed was comfortable, but a bit too soft for my back. The towel warmer in the bathroom is so tall I couldn't reach the top, which meant I was able to wash a lot of laundry to dry overnight - the joys of travel! (They may have laundry services too, but I didn't look into that.) We ate in the restaurant; the offerings were good, but the menu was short. Good value for the money and exceptionally helpful staff. My only gripe is the parking, which is expensive (even with a coupon from the desk) and quite far from the hotel lobby. It's not a big deal unless you have multiple heavy bags, which we unfortunately did.

The staff is super professional and friendly. The location is great. Breakfast is amazing! The room was nice. Three star due to them not giving us the complimentary water when cleaning the room two nights in a row. One night we ordered dessert from room service and that took close to two hours to get to our room.

Beautiful and stylish building! Very grand features. Room was clean, spacious and decorated tastefully. Bed was extremely comfortable. Perfect location in Glasgow Central station, we used it as a base to get around the city. A short walk to the bus that takes you to the airport, Queen Street Station and the nearest subway station, Buchanan Street.

Lovely stay for my husband’s birthday. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was spacious and clean and the bed was really comfy. Two small complaints. The bathroom needed some TLC - grouting on floor tiles and around edges was cracked and stained, and it was a trek to get to breakfast and the room was very cold however the food was very good, good selection of hot and cold choices.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly when we went there, especially Daniel. We phoned him before arriving Glasgow, and he very promptly arranged a vehicle to ferry us from Glasgow airport to the hotel. He is extremely helpful everytime we approach him, to ask for directions or even reservations for different restaurants and dining options. The rooms may be slightly older, but the hygiene was top notch and very grand. Overall, a very good and worth it option, especially in their customer service.

The hotel has that old building charm, without the drafts, dust and general dingy vibe. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the room was lovely and warm, the bathroom was immaculately cleaned and the breakfast was varied. I loved that there was plant based options and milk available and the fruit was fresh. Would stay again!

Wow! Loved this hotel. The staff on reception were incredible from the offset and so friendly, and they really went to the next level - they were super accommodating with allowing me to stay with my two little dogs. No extra charges or rules which is a bonus, in fact they gave me an accessible room which had more space for us, so it was much welcomed and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They even went to the very generous lengths of giving me some complimentary drinks vouchers which just made my night after a stressful experience trying to park my car as close as I could to the hotel. Note to self - don’t ever drive in central Glasgow 😵‍💫 The bar staff in the champagne bar too were absolutely fantastic - I couldn’t fault a thing with the whole experience at this hotel. It’s a wonderful spot and given it’s so central, I was amazed how quiet my room was. A wonderful place, made even more special by the awesome staff. They truly are a credit to this hotel. Thanks again!

We had a great time staying here foot a few days. First, location is great. Walking distance to a ton and lots of transportation options for things further away. The hotel itself is really nice. Hospitality was friendly and very helpful. Our room was the premium king. The room was huge with super tall ceilings. Big bathtub and nice shower. Very comfy bed. Only downside to our room was that it took about 5 minutes for the water to get hot. We were super far down down the hall, like a far a you could get and perhaps that meant further from the water heater? It did get hot it just took some time. We got the free breakfast in the morning. Nice selection of eggs, porridge, yogurt, fruit and meats. We didn't eat at the restaurant but did eat at the bar which was really cool. A view literally into the train station. The Korean chicken was great. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great location with quick access to multiple train stations as well as being able to walk directly into central station. Access to lots of restaurants within walking distance. Hotel is well decorated and clean. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and well kept. Breakfast was good and quick.

Great location in Glasgow! Super friendly and helpful staff. Check in was quick. The hotel was clean and room was lovely. Would have gave the room a 5 star if some of the furnishings did not look beat up. Will stay here again on my next visit to Glasgow.

Fantastic stay. The location is second to none. The welcome from the staff even though it was a very busy Saturday was fabulous. Shout out to Katt on reception who was so friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Complimentary upgrade in a spacious and immaculately clean room and a lovely wee note from the hotel makes all the difference. Thank you.

This is our first time staying here and we're already thinking of coming back next year for a long weekend. We're staying for a few days over Christmas and it's been a lovely stay so far. The staff are so welcoming and extremely accommodating. We are staying in a premium king room, which is huge and our window overlooks Buchanan Train station, which we don't mind as we don't hear anything and it's nice to people watch. The hotel is excellently situated for the shops as literally 5 min walk away for the main streets, Enoch Centre and Buchanan Galleries. I would recommend staying here for a visit to Glasgow. The only issue we had was our heating wasn't working but they gave us oil heaters which helped greatly. One small thing, there is a bit of mould on the grouting of the tiles in the shower which wouldn't take long to fix. Apart from that a very enjoyable stay 😊😍

Really lovely place. The room was fantastic. Hotel was nice with friendly staff. Cannot eat the location especially if you arrive at Glasgow Central. The hotel backs onto the station!! Bar was annoying. Live staff, food and drinks but descends into a public bar with queues which I don't expect in a hotel bar. Would return though

What can I say. I have been here for one night, but I would stay here forever. Excellent rooms with everything you need when you are away from home in the hotel. The hotel itself is very clean and the room was very cosy. Facilities for coffee and tea in the room, complimentary drink in the room simply superb. The hotel is located in the city centre. Easy access from and to airport and for shopping. Will come again, definitely.

Advertised 1/2 off parking at local garage 2 blocks from the hotel, none of the vouchers worked and basically management at the desk all but called me a liar on the three times i complained when getting my car out. They will require me to send them bank statements to prove how much I spent on parking. Room service in the room says available from lunch on, the night we were going to use it they said the kitchen doesn’t serve until after 10PM. On the good side the breakfast and breakfast staff were top notch. Do not book if traveling by car.

Beautiful hotel with a lot of amazing history. The champagne bar very impressive! I stayed there for 1 night for business as it is a stones throw away from the shopping areas and 10 min taxi to the SEC Campus. Bed was very comfy and the shower lovely.

Convenience of stepping off a train and being in your hotel room minutes later can't be beat. Check in was a breeze, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are beautifully decorated with all required amenities. Location is fantastic in the heart of Glasgow. Highly recommended.

Fantastic hotel for the city centre and access to public transport. Room was comfortable but a bit noisy from the ventilator and plumbing. Breakfast I would recommend putting a second knife out with the napkins as you use the only one with a cooked breakfast and then have to go hunting for a second one! Nice decor in rhe champagne bar though so probably good for functions. Staff very polite

This hotel was beautiful! A nice central location right beside one of the main train terminals. Our room was so pretty, quiet, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, and our stay was perfect. Thank you so much!

From taking a moment before entering the hotel to admire the beauty of the gorgeously historic building, to the consistently warm and friendly interaction from every member of staff. The food & beverage staff were spot on, especially throughout the conference I attended. However special mention for Mark the concierge during my stay...what a class act. 100% genuine in every single aspect and went out of his way to make me feel welcomed. Thank you Mark and thanks to all at Voco Grand Central Glasgow. Superb

Stayed one night on a work trip to the city. Room was excellent, even a basic view on to the streets below. Everything you could possibly need even in a basic double, bed and sheets were superb. Nice big telly and the air con was perfect. At breakfast there was more than enough choice and the guy serving the hot food was spot on (sorry don’t know your name) but beans in ramekins, say no more. Overall the hotel is stunning and full of that old world character and charm, even in its modern decor. The staff really take it to the next level however. Will be back to stay with the wife next time.

We enjoyed a lovely stay in the hotel, the room was nice with a view over the station concourse and the interior of the hotel is Grand as described. The Champagne bar is a must visit for a glass of fizz and a cocktail or three, but please don’t book dinner with your stay. The menu options are restricted and the quality of food doesn’t match up to the grandness of the hotel. My recommendation would be to enjoy the stay and by all means breakfast which was great, but there are so many better options for dinner within 500yards of the hotel. Hotel ****, Bar ****, Dinner *, Breakfast **** .
