Lovely little hotel, it is what it is, nothing fancy but nothing dire either. Lass behind the counter was helpful and courteous which made the stay even better. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was tasty and well managed For a short trip it's perfect

Building and rooms outdated. Quite noisy outside during the night. Clean and has everything you need for a basic stay. Good location just a few minutes from sauchiehall street. Wouldn’t personally stay here again but would recommend if you’re on a budget.

The Hotel had all the necessities but not a lot more. It felt a bit dated to me with harsh lighting. No plugs near the bed. Old shower/bath combo. No airco and electric heating in the room. Breakfast was fine but nothing exceptional which basically sums up the hotel. If you need a place to sleep while you're out and about for most of the day, this will do perfectly fine. Location and price are great.

Great location but that's where it ends. In short, the place was uncomfortably dirty. Didn't really have any interaction with the staff except a confused check-in

We booked the room at a great price and it was a great location for us. We have stayed at many travelodges before so am aware of what to expect and normally it is fine. However unfortunately the room we were given did not come up to the usual standard. The carpet was dirty and stained and the bathroom could have done with a better clean. We didn't feel the need to complain as it was only somewhere to sleep for the night after a long drive, and we were leaving early the next morning.

booked a family room for me and my 3 kids, as soon as I got out of the lift the corridor smelled like a babies dirty nappy, it only got worse after that. We got into our room and my wee boy was in contact with the carpet (which was filthy) and come out in a rash ALL OVER HIS BODY, as any parent would I took him straight to Glasgow royal infirmary, they said it’s unlikely to be anything serious but funnily enough when I demanded a refund we went to premier inn at Enoch square, my son had a shower and the rash was gone. The room was just disgusting, chipped skirting boards and the bottom of the bathroom door, horrible smells inside the room and hallways, really bad experience, will be sticking with premier in from now on as it has always been clean and spot on.

Typical of me, could not get to the place there were barriers and road works everywhere. Finally moved a barrier and signed in. It was late but the staff were so lovely. Welcoming and once we settled we bought a bottle of wine, got 2 glasses and settled down in our clean, cosy bed. It was big enough for mum and me to share. We had booked elsewhere but it was appalling. Glad we managed a few hours sleep.

Small bedroom & bathroom but satisfactory. Shower was ok, a bit small & floor a bit worn. Building layout is a bit muddled. The location is good within easy waking distance of all central services & facilities.

Usual rooms and facilities that you get with a T L. Buffet breakfast for just less than a tenner and served until late morning. Bar wasn't fantastic as difficult to get served on occasions. Walking distance to quite a few decent places to eat and drink.

I wasn't expecting much for the price paid for the room. Everything looked clean, bedding was spotless. Checked in at 1am, no issues there, staff were helpful and friendly. Powerful shower in the bathroom that was s plus, tea and coffee with a kettle in the room. No complimentary soaps or shampoo, I forgot mine. Unlimited Breakfast in the morning £8.95 surprisingly good, English breakfast buffet style, if a tray is out they heat up another batch without question. They have something for everyone. Check out was just handing in the room key. If using JustPark, the hotel is just across the road from the Doubletree.

I’m not sure completely what I was fully expecting but it was not this - this is unlike any Travelodge I’ve previously stayed at. The rooms are incredibly small and claustrophobic. The room is incredibly old and dingy, with a damp smell. Any attempts to make it more modern on a budget has fallen flat. I did not feel safe at this establishment and the vibe of the hotel and the beyond dated rooms reflected this. I would not stay here again. That said, the staff are really lovely and kind. They’re really keeping this place going!

Orange juice tasteless, mushrooms less than brilliant. Room had no duvet. Clean, tidy, great welcome from reception. Breakfasts in London with the same chain were so much better.

A perfectly fine hotel to stay in if you just need a bed for a couple of nights. Seems pretty outdated, especially in the rooms but you get what you pay for really. Staff were lovely and very helpful.

Did what was required. Travelodge always reliable. A little noisy from other rooms/corridor on this occasion but not really a reflection on the hotel itself. A few hours sleep out of the rain. Foamy soap never a great success for me personally.

In dire need of a refurb. Stayed one night and then had to find somewhere else to stay. The staff were lovely and very helpful though.

Be careful as the non slip in the bathroom was worn making me slip and injury myself. Dirty carpet in the room, flies around the juice machine at breakfast. Such a shame because the staff in the hotel and lovely but customer services when you have a complaint are awful. ( online not in the hotel.) the location is great but that’s where it ends!!

I often use Travelodge as I know it will be clean, comfy, and with a desk. Exactly what I needed. Not yet given the Travelodge makeover (seems odd) but I'm not a follower of interior decoraation and would happily return tomorrow. Two minutes from Sauchiehall Street. Perfectly quiet. Very obliging, helpful, pleasant staff. I didn't try breakfast as I was on the move each morning.

Reasonably priced, great location as I was attending an event in the Hilton Doubletree across the street. Basic bed and breakfast but staff are friendly and helpful, buffet style breakfast offered a nice selection of a Scottish fry, cereals, fruit salad, selection of breads, coffee and tea. Dinner has a limited selection of pizza, hot dogs and burgers that I could, it has a small bar downstairs. The room was a good size, clean, with a small area to work from. When I booked I also purchased Wifi for the two days in advance but the code only allows this to be used on two devices other than that or use free wifi which is free for the first 30 mins to an hour. One thing to note is the main entrance is locked from 10pm and you need to ring or phone to get access.

Staff are phenomenon. Young gentleman who served me, Gavin I believe his name was with the cool ramen tattoo. He was brilliant, really considerate and caring. Rooms on the other hand where we'll past their best by date. I had to be moved rooms as my first room just stank of cigarette and just stale. 2nd room was better though still too much of a 70s vibe. As where the amenities. I was hoping to move to another travelogue which had availability (and better rooms) at the same rate but they don't do that which feels really weird tbh. Location is alright, was enough for what I needed.

Travelodge can't hide from the fact that the staff in this branch are amazing. All rooms are clean and the staff are very helpful when you need them. This hotel is in desperate need of a room refurb. The rooms are ancient and didn't reflect the £150 a night we paid. I won't be stopping at this place again until it says it has been refurbished. The toilet constantly flushed with the seat up, the door to the bathroom was difficult to open and jammed. The walls and skirting boards looked tired and the furniture looked dated. It was clean but looked old. There was a huge gap under the front door and lots of noise came through. If this spot was refurbished it would be perfect but not when I was paying as much as we did. (Coldplay week so prices were high).
