Great hotel with stylish rooms and interesting ideas. Colourful options customisable by the guest with the lights, good space in windowed rooms and good shower although the shower head is fixed which is inconvenient. The rooms should have some more storage or shelf’s though and the air conditioning responsible for heating which was at this time in February insufficient and loud should be checked. At least on the 4th floor with windows in the room. The breakfast either needs to be improved or it remains an expensive pre made collection. No ham, bacon, warm eggs or the usual English available.

The first time I stayed here was in September 2019, the room was clean, bright and comfortable, the heater was working. So I chose to stay here again this Easter but I got totally disappointed and will never come back again. The room was tiny with some hair and dust on the floor. The bedding had someone’s hair and foundation makeup on it. Sometimes the heater was not working well and kept being 21°C in a not warm Scottish weather night. The toilet and the AC were super noisy all the time. But the worst was, one of the reception guy treated me as a thief or homeless the fifth night I stayed and was so rude at me. I can definitely take it as something racist as I’m an Asian and with a mask on. I don’t think he will do the same thing or the same attitude to others who are not Asian. Don’t stay here, for your health and safety.

My recent stay at this hotel in Glasgow was nothing short of fantastic. The rooms may be on the smaller side, but they're impressively tech-savvy and incredibly well-planned. The ambient lighting in the room sets a mood that's simply amazing, creating a cozy and modern atmosphere. What truly stands out is the value for money you get at this hotel. Being located right in the city center, it's perfect for exploring Glasgow on foot, with train stations and great dining spots within easy walking distance. The staff at the hotel were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, which added to the overall positive experience. I can't wait to return for another visit. This hotel offers a lovely and tech-forward stay that's worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Good bed and pillows, generally good room layout. Mood lights was a nice touch! Very good service. Bathroom layout was slightly awkward for a taller person, plus I personally dislike showerheads that don't move. Also, toiletries only included a combined hand-hair-body cleanser, no conditioner or body lotion. Great location for Glasgow city centre, very close to shops and amenities. Will definitely keep it in mind for short-term travels.

The hotel is conveniently located in Bath Street, just a few minutes walk from Queen Street station. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and a shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was served buffet style at a cost of £8.

Budget to mid range price point hotel in the city centre. Staff are friendly when you have a need to interact with them. Rooms are compact but functional. Not luxury but comfortable. Practical sockets and sockets for charging devices. Bizarre lighting system in rooms (you can have your own disco effect for example). Bed was small for a double. Everything was clean and air condition really good in rooms.

Great location and friendly staff. Rooms and breakfast are a little basic, but decent and pleasant enough. Worth staying for a few nights.

Quite a plain layout. I would have liked to be able to connect my streaming services to the television in the room. The mood lighting was a novelty. Good air con and I enjoyed the shower. It heated up very quickly. I slept well but the bed was a bit short and I'm 5'10". It was quiet and the room was dark which was good.

Only 4 because I didn’t use all of the services. Room, hallways and lifts all smelled clean and fresh. Room was spacious and modern. Bed was comfy. Checking out at 11 was nice usually it’s like 9/10 but it was nice to get a long lie, very appreciated

Had a lovely stay here. The front desk employees were all super nice and helpful. We were also able to get in the room early and didn’t mind paying the fee. The rooms were very clean and had a small split to keep the air cool.

Best suited to backpackers. Bathroom was good however size of double room was small. Good thing cases fitted under the bed as suggested. No wardrobe, just 6 coat hangars on 3 hooks. A fold up chair which I used as my bedside table. No tea & coffee facilities but could be purchased at Reception - despicable idea. Breakfast was included in our rate which was great.

The service is lovely and the location is great in central Glasgow making it value for money. The room loses a star because the walls are thin so you can hear everyone coming in from a night out....I would recommend ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. The rooms are clean and well designed with good storage in a small space. There is a safe in the room as well which was unexpected. The room has A/C as well and toiletries in thr bathroom. I would definitely put Point A on my future hotels.

The staff at reception were extremely friendly and welcoming, and offered great service to my group. The rooms were good, although there was quite a lot of dust on shelves and lighting fixtures. The colour changing LED lights in our room didn’t work very well, but we didn’t mind. The bathroom was extraordinary clean which is a massive positive for me. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Perfect location, brilliant helpful staff, Very clean and tidy and breakfast was lovely. The only problem we had we had was a large party that came in at 4 o’clock in the morning & woke us up but that’s not the hotels fault. Definitely be using again & recommend to others

Fantastic hotel! You can see that everything is fresh and new. The room was amazing, had great lighting options and lots of nice little things around. The receptionist was very kind and accommodating.

I have stayed in this hotel many times in the past. I like that it is clean, simple and very central. You can see the hotel is ageing a little but still great if you are after something very practical. I would highly recommend. Only thing if the receptionists are a little more friendly. They used to be great but some of the current ones do not comes across very friendly.

Located in the city centre, it is perfect to move around the city by walk or by train/subway/bus. The room we booked was small (as clearly indicated in the website!) but cozy, comfortable and, despite not having a window, the air exchange was proper and constant. It had usb plug sockets, a good hair dryer, but only a shower towel - an additional, smaller, one would have been great. Receptionists were always kind and helpful.

Our initial room smelled weird, had towels with stains, broken furniture, super noisy AC, and the worst part: hair on the bed. It’s like they don’t clean the mattress cover. We asked to be moved, at the beginning staff wasn’t so happy about are complaint, saying “well all ACs will be noisy…” (which isn’t true, our first AC sounded like a hungry lion) but as we wore more detailed and even showed pictures of stranger’s hair on the bed, they felt more empathy.. or that’s what it seemed. They first moved us to another room, and again… dust & hair. We were then moved to the “biggest” room of the hotel, and to be honest this one did smell very clean, but again hair on the bed — particularly on the mattress cover. I would definitely not recommend. Staff was helpful at least, one cleaning lady helped me find the elevator and she seemed nice and a hard worker as well… so I don’t really know the root cause of this. Maybe the hotel doesn’t demand the cleaners to be more thorough? Or they are overloaded with work

I was very impressed by the staff at the Point A on Bathe Street, in Glasgow Scotland. When I arrived in Scotland the airport lost my wheelchair (I’m an amputee). So the hotel staff went above & beyond to make my accommodations & stay a good one. As I was/am traveling alone. & whenever I ordered food they brought it up to me, & any thing else I would need. I had to leave Glasgow for Sterling & when my wheelchair finally arrived (5 days later) it was already waiting for me in my original room in Glasgow. & the staff made me feel like we were old friends & I had known them for years. Now the room, I loved the fact there was not a phone. But there were plenty of plugs for things. & the restroom was so accommodating to my handicapped needs. & usually when I stay at a hotel the bathroom towels are small in size. Not these towels, they were like bath sheets. And they actually had regular toilet paper & not that single ply stuff we use back home. The bed was comfortable. As I was on the top floor the skyline was beautiful, & quiet. Next time I’m im this great city, I will be staying there again…. Thanks again for a great stay

Excellent value for money. New, very clean, friendly staff. We had a room with no window which was fine with us - bed, breakfast and go for a couple of days. Great lounge/meeting/coffee area. In the centre of town. What's not to like. Oh and a really cool thingy that changes the room light colour.....red was a bit manic though!

Comfortable budget hotel! Extremely modern with capsule hotel vibes. We had a nice warm room and tiny shower, and loads of added on amenities, the staff was friendly and helpful. Only two issues we had were lack of kettle (we couldn’t make caffeine) and that there was only one pillow for the bed. We did try to ask for extra blankets but none were available, I’d definitely recommend a room with windows though. Good experience.

This is exactly what you need from a budget hotel. Very standard services. Good central location. Reasonably priced compared to other hotels and AirBNBs. For a one or two-night stay, this is exactly what you need which are the bare essentials. It had a good-sized bed for two people. One criticism is that my room it didn't have a bedside table on one side of the bed. It's understandable because the room probably doesn't have enough space to fit everything. Would stay again for a day trip to Glasgow!

Rooms were very comfortable. Not a place if you've lots of luggage, but sufficient space. The breakfast was very nice, selection of cereals, boiled eggs, toast, fruit, yogurts, juice, coffee and tea. The reception coffee point was great for a to-go coffee or tea before exploring the city. Staff was very nice and helpful with booking taxis if needed. Would recommend to solo travelers and lightly packed adventurers.

The staff here were so so kind! I’ve never visited a hotel with such friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The different colour light options were so cool and such a unique touch! We loved choosing which colour we wanted the room and even putting it on the rainbow mode. The hotel was in the perfect spot, a 5 minute walk from the station and the Xmas market. For the price this hotel is ideal and I would definitely come back.

Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your place. They compare countless booking websites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This place is one of my favorites in the area. I have been coming here for years. If you decide to stay here you won't be let down. The ambience is very futuristic and cool! A bit small but comfortable and had many spaces to hang things and lots of shelves. LED lighting was fun to play around with and we were genuinely tickled by the whole experience. 100% will stay at Point A hotels again!

Lovely and clean little room that looked very new and had the essentials. Small but complete bathroom, hair dryer, TV, coat hangers, a foldable stool and a few pull-down tables if you need. The double bed was comfy and the room was just big enough for a solo traveller (or a no-fuss couple). The room was windowless, but they added hue lights and a control panel so you can play around with the colours. It makes the room feel more like a space pod than a budget hotel room. Genius addition. Overall a good choice for a few nights to see the sights in Glasgow. Would absolutely stay there again. Only annoyance was having to go all the way down to reception for water. A little hot/cold water dispenser somewhere in the corridor would make all the difference.

Modern, clean and tidy and staff friendly. Beds not the most comfortable, but the shower was excellent - the flashing disco lighting was interesting. Breakfast was £9 I think (ours was included) but it's a weird breakfast, lots of yogurt & granola, fruit and pastries, cold boiled eggs, prepacked cheese but actually no bread on the Sunday we were there. Great location, a bit noisy if you were exotic and went for a room with a window, but an enjoyable stay.

Cute budget hotel with a modern vibe and very friendly staff! Also in a very good location, surrounded by many shops and restaurants within a stone’s throw so can’t go wrong. Mood lighting was a lovely surprise as I’ve never had that in a hotel room before! Only thing limitation I’d say is that it would be better if there was a mini fridge/kettle but for a short stay this wasn’t much of an issue. You can get free coffee/tea from reception which is nice. It was my first time visiting Scotland and I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in Glasgow!

Room was very small but very clean and modern! Great for a cheap, one night stop in town. Great location. Breakfast was shocking. Would have been better going to Tesco. Only really offered cornflakes.

Not sure what the led lights accomplish but staff were lovely. Breakfast is pretty dead but staff make the hotel brilliant to stay in. Rooms lovely and seems to follow the Same theme as other hotels of similar price. Thanks staff!

I was staying for a short period of time whilst visiting some friends who were there for TRNSMT. It is in such a convenient location for somebody (almost) completely new to Glasgow. At first I was very worried about the rooms as I don’t do well in small spaces, however it was the cheapest option for me to go with that room. The small room, although yes, small, it is made in such a modern way I felt no claustrophobia at all. The highlight of the stay was the staff, they were very professional but also laid back which helped a lot with my stress of the journey. Super helpful and always willing to help. Although I never had breakfast there I did see a member of staff speaking and engaging with tourists which was really lovely to see as most other places I have stayed in will not engage with anyone. Times like these I wish I could go over 5 stars I can’t express how happy an experience I have had other than say this will be my go to place for when I stay in Glasgow from now on.
