Tiny room with 4 beds and no fan to cool the room. If you go there be advised that there is no easy way to get in. You have to drag your suitcase up about 50 winding, concrete stairs. There's no concierge to help. It was daunting for an elder woman, two young girls and a child to get our things into the building. We still have high hopes for breakfast, I'll let you know.

I tried to cancel a booking in advance for a more than justified reason: my partner had just been released from hospital and diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and had to start treatment. I also sent them the medical report. They did not accept the cancellation or the refund of the booking. I am leaving this review so that everyone can see what kind of people they are and if I don't get my money back, this review will remain.

Good value for money. Expect to get what you pay for, the room is down to earth and no frills. In saying that, it is clean, warm and comfortable. Our shower room looked like a fairly new addition and the shower worked very well. The staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us suggestions of places to visit. Breakfast was great, full breakfast, vegetarian full breakfast (so we were happy), various egg options, cereals, cheeses, meats and fruit juices. The hotel has its original staircase which is lovely to look at, but not so much fun if you have dodgy knees. It was 44 steps up to our room at the top of the house! We stayed 3 nights. Perfect for a short stay exploring Glasgow. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

I stayed in a single ensuite room, and it was perfect. Nothing fancy, but comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and a hot water pot to make coffee. I was impressed at the breakfast - not only cold items, but options for hot breakfast items, including a full Scottish breakfast!

Nice little rooms, friendly service and delicious breakfast. It's situated in a higher place, so you need to walk up a steep road. The motion detection in the restroom is a bit annoying.

Nice room, cooked breakfast as well as cereals and more. Great location, near the city center and not fat from west bank. Friendly and helpful staffs

The room was basic but very clean and adequate for our 2 night stay. Was surprised to be told that breakfast was £9 per day extra - which we declined as we thought it was all included in the price

NEVER PICK UP PHONE!!! Called many times at different times of the day and they never pick op or return my call. I asked them at the reception why they didn't call me back, they said they are too busy. They had 5 hours to call me back and didn't so it and had no intention of ever doing so. If they are telling are truth (which is not the case, i know this because they had the time to comment on my review immediately but didn't even bother to call me back!) and are too busy to return the call of one of their guests then they need to hire more people! I have two night booking which i paid in full for and used this email to make the booking. They should focus on supplying basic service quality instead of trying to insinuate that the review of their customer is fake.

The guest house located in the city center of Glasgow by walking 5 mins, it’s an old building . This guesthouse offer everything you needed, a single clean room , also a breakfast, I won’t say it’s high class , but for the money we paid it’s more than fair , in general I will recommend to stay here if you don’t need 5 stars quality, but for small money it’s very good!👍

Room on the upper floor so quiet but lots of stairs. Room was clean. Really good shower. Had to wait to order breakfast. They seemed to have forgotten about us!! We stopped a waitress to order. Breakfast room was very small and cramped. Cooked breakfast was fair but did not reflect the charge for B&B. Most expensive B&B I have ever been in. I expected more for the price we paid. A way out of the centre but I knew the location. It was ok but pricey.

***DON'T STAY OR BOOK THIS*** The property is a good location yet internally th3 building is about to collapse despite their a lot of wallpaper to hide it and the dark carpet to hide the very dirty property. It's smells, no good ventilation, and you will hear everysteo in the property.. the worse place I've stayed in my entire life..

Very friendly man at the reception, who even helped me to get a charging cable at night. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. I would like to come back next time.

Absolutely appalling attitude from staff! I was booked in for the July 17th and when I asked about late check ins and why my Card had been tried for the full ammount when we are paying at check in, the member of staff was incredible rude. Telling me to cancel my Trip, I’m not a guest and will never stay at the hotel, and that I need to learn to read. Management are no help AT ALL when I called to complain. Wouldn’t bother terrible place and staff are gross.

Great budget stay in Glasgow City. Friendly hosts. Lovely breakfast. Nice and clean room. If you want to keep the purse strings tight... Then highly recommended.

Fab budget hotel, the staff that I met were lovely and the room perfect for a wee overnight stay. It had everything I needed for my visit and the room was really clean, as was the ensuite although maybe a wee bit more attention to the cleaning of the silicon and seals in the shower, but all in all a great place and the location is perfect for city centre and the concert venues.

Terrible. I booked to stop at Hampton Court Guest House. Less then 24 hours after I booked I tested positive for covid. I contacted the guest house straight away and they refused to give me a refund even though there was still 5 days until my booking. I have never given a poor review before, but I think is disgusting. I will never use them again.

The staff are very friendly. Breakfast was great. I only marked down the room as the one I was in once you got your bags in it made it hard to move around. Also I have marked down the location, I had to go up a hill with my bags and then a section of road was closed so I had to detour a block.

Very comfortable & clean. Within easy walking of Central City, a bit of a hike to West End, but can use bus if prefer. Staff was friendly & helpful. Not fancy or ornate, but totally meets all my needs. Would stay again.
