The only 2* thing about this place is the price. Firstly had a lovely welcoming despite the time I arrived. Arriving into the room there we a kettle with cups loads teabags, coffee and some biscuits to. The room was very clean (far cleaner than some hotels I've been to that have charged more for the stay). My sleep was perfect due to being cozy and in the extremely comfortable bed with next to no noise from outside despite the location. Id like to thank everyone who made this hotel possible and I will definitely be back😊

I am convinced to recommend staying here and there are several reasons; 1. Price is extremely reasonable. 2. They serve quite economic breakfast; there are two options: Scottish and continental breakfast. 3. Room and shared toilets and bathrooms/shower rooms are clean and well-managed and the numbers of shared shower rooms are enough. 4. Accessibility to Glasgow city centre is convenient; I could use the subway for reaching the centre. 5. The owner and staff are pretty accommodating and this is very Scottish. 5. You definitely will realise that you more love Scotland than England while staying here. Not crowded people are here, and the ambience was very tranquil unlike London and other England cities. I nowdays hate England, so I recommend to visit this hotel and hopefully relish Scotland traveling.

Great friendly reception on arrival. The room was clean and comfortable and considering its location on one of the main roads in Glasgow was super quiet in the room. The breakfast service was slow as it is cooked to order. After nearly an hour my partners coffee never arrived and we ended up with different cooked breakfasts to ones we were eventually able to order... But we had to eat it as we had a hospital appointment and were already short of time due to the wait for our food. We had informed the staff we had an appointment on our arrival at the breakfast room. This let the place down, but I'd stay again for its location, price, welcome and comfortable clean room.

The room was nice and spacious enough for the two of us but it had very thin walls, as we could hear other guests in rooms across the corridor as if they were next to us. The breakfast was good and the staff, although busy, were very attentive. The location is fantastic, probably the main reason we'd picked it in the first place.

Relatively nice and inexpensive hotel. Located a bit out of the way from the city center, but very close to the botanical garden. The furnishings of our room were fine, but a bit run down. The staff were friendly to us and we were given breakfast on our second day. Overall, a good option if you want to stay for little money.

A perfectly fine hotel if it is okay to have a shared bathroom in the hallway. Some rooms are a bit cramped. Good breakfast included

The beds were very nice and comfortable. However, we did find a used milk tub in one of the draws of the nightstand but that was not concerning for us. There are three bathrooms and two toilets as well. Considering there are about 12 rooms or so, I don’t think it is enough for the busy season. The bathroom on the top floor looked horrible and very worn down, however, the bottom floor bathroom was very nice. We booked it through Airbnb and they do not respond at all. So if you have a question beforehand, good luck getting your answer back because you will need it.

Stayed here once for 2 nights and booked a double ensuite room, however when we arrived we were told we were getting put into a family size room (which is a more expensive room however we wouldnt have to pay). I'm unsure why we were moved however there were only 2 of us and the family sized room contained a double bed, 2 single beds and a sofa bed so it felt huge! Wouldn't have minded this had the room not been directly beside the front desk/door so we could hear people speaking and entering/exiting quite loudly. However, the price was decent (£66 for 2 people for 2 nights) and it is close to a variety of shops and takeaways/restaurants etc. We also received a glass of apple juice and 2 travel mugs upon entry. The rooms were relatively clean and I would stay here again for a short trip!

    - £45 - Strong wifi - Shared bathrooms (very clean) - Comfortable beds - Average breakfast - Great view - PERFECT Staff Great! The price well worth it. It's was clean & beautiful. The SHARED bathrooms were well maintained & felt private. The staff was hilarious & friendly. I'd stay again.

Stayed last night. Lady that checked me in was very helpful. Dogs were welcome, so a big bonus for me. Room was a bit too warm for the dogs and couldn't turn it down, but just opened window. It was fine when I returned after my night out. Room was clean. Separate toilet bathroom was a wee bit small....fine for me but I suspect a larger person would struggle. Breakfast was just what I needed and just enough....not over filled. Thought I might have trouble sleeping with it being on a main road but just used the original window shutters and noise was drown out. Good value.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, but that was all positive! Our (very small) room was not clean, there was hair everywhere, the door could be closed, but there was always a gap so that you could hear almost everything from the hallway and also the next room. The shared bathrooms were also not clean and very small. Breakfast was a joke, if it's not continental it shouldn't be advertised as such.
