I am rating it as a long-term asylum accommodation; not as a hotel. I stayed here for three months as an asylum-seeker. First I'd like to thank to Polish maintenance guys, Romanian cleaning ladies, the kind Scottish aunty, and Indian cooks who kept the place on its feet. Also the manager was a kind gentleman. Nice and hardworking people, indeed. The biggest tragedy was that a poor guy died in one of the rooms. There was also a COVID outbreak. Food looked unhealthy at times; not always. Some rooms needed maintenance. Although the staff did their best to keep the days rolling, the place isn't simply designed to be a long-term accommodation for people. I hope it will stop being an asylum accomodation soon. It would serve its purpose much better as a guest house for tourists.

Amazing place, nice room and breakfast - right on renfew street - 2 min walk from Glasgow school of arts. If you can walk more then you could reach Buchanan street without taking the train from charing cross.

Good sized room and clean; breakfast hardly a buffet, more a selection of boxed cereals and yoghurt with toast bought to.table. Ideal for a cheap overnight stay.

Very cheap and when you arrive you see why but lovely staff and a great bed made me sleep in hahaha Could do with a better hoover as the floors are very dirty. A pair of socks left in the shared bathroom. But it was clean otherwise. The shower is pathetic. That needs addressing asap. Breakfast was great but it went from includes a free breakfast to that's Β£9 extra please.... Per person.... But I made the most of it ;) Believe it or not I would stay again. Must go down as the smallest lift I have ever been in ever ever ever ...

Wonderful hotel with fantastic staff We booked 4 nights and weren't too sure at first as some of the photos on Google show an old and outdated hotel, however when you stay there you get a completely different feeling. We arrived pretty late due to our flight being delayed so getting in at around 10pm, the receptionist was great giving us all of the details and quickly processing our arrival. The place is 4 houses bonded together to make an 80 room hotel which is amazing, some parts are older but no doubt in time they will be upgraded to the same standard. Our room was a little outdated, however the bathroom was new with a multi channel TV. Breakfast was incredible, one of the best with vegan, vegetarian options, and kippers yummy. The staff made everything so easy being flexible to meet all of the guests needs especially providing all sorts of breakfast items from cereals, pancakes to fresh fruit. Fully recommended if your in Glasgow, easy walking distance to city centre and close by shops and bars.

Lovely welcoming staff! We had a great stay! We were up on the third floor which meant quite a few stairs which I felt were quite narrow and slippery with the carpet on them if you weren’t careful. Excellent stay otherwise!

It's not bad definitely deserves more ratings lovely service and nice staff. The breakfast is good but they serve the same thing everyday and I would expect something different. Rooms are alright what you would expect from a hotel bathroom is a bit small. Overall great hotel.

Room were damp and it was hard to breathe. You couldn't open the windows that much and there was no circulation. Staff were not helpfull. Rooms were dirty. Bathrooms were disgusting. They required you to give keys to your room when you left for the day. Every room had a tv.

The room was nothing like in the pictures. The room was filthy, bathroom, carpet, windows. The windows didn't close properly, the curtains stinked like cigarettes and the room was damp and moldy. I also got a thick from the bed, the only time I took my socks off, I saw it in the morning after a shower, wasn't there the previous day.The lift felt like you are going to be stuck in it. Took the stairs. I didn't dare use it again. The manager in the morning was to busy to speak to me regarding the thick. Phoned environmental health for them. Booked the guest house from a site Agoda. Bed was uncomfortable, didn't rest properly. Very shameful!

With two weeks on the road in the UK the was the single BEST place I stayed. It was spotless! The entryway was perfect, the room was amazingly clean and cozy. My bathroom was very modern and shined. Breakfast was amazing both mornings and started the day perfect. I have been to Tenby several times and this will be the only place I will stay at from now on.
