I do not even know where to begin. Had a 4 night stay booked and was checked out of my room after the first night by someone at reception. Not sure why that person felt the need to modify a guests reservation without their authorization. Then when I went to go get the situation fixed the people at reception were beyond rude for the remainder of my stay. Lastly the individuals at reception wouldn’t add my IHG number to my reservation which didn’t allow me to receive the platinum benefits. Would not stay here again solely based on the rude behavior from the staff. A friendly smile when guests walk into the lobby goes a long way.

Pleasantly surprised. Hotel is well located. Staff are welcoming, friendly and jovial. Room was spotless. We went to work for the day then arrived back in our rooms to find the wonderful cleaning fairy had struck again. Spotless again.

The location is very apt for business trips. Its very close to Buchanan bus station. The staffs are awesome, always helpful and friendly, they were always there during my entire stay of a month. The only issue is if you are on the rooms facing the road, the street lights are glowing (very bright near windows) for the whole night, so u have to close ur curtains. The breakfast is fine and its a general holiday inn breakfast.

Great location and good sevice from staff. Room sizes though really small. We took a room with double bed with sofa bed. If we open the sofa bed it will cut off the way to washroom and if we close it it cant be used anymore even for sitting, so bit disappointed with that.

No air conditioning even though it says there is on the website. Very small rooms. Noisy, train line directly under hotel. It gets more than one star because of the breakfast and comfortable beds.

First problem, our room keys weren't activated, so had to return to desk from 5th floor ( not a major issue). At reception we had been asked when we wanted breakfast, said 10 am, we were told that we were booked in for that time. Next morning, we went to restuarent at 9.55, but it was locked , we attracted the attention of a staff member inside ( who had been on duty the night before at front desk beside the person who had checked us in/ booked breakfast time). She was quite abrupt with us. She offered to let us " grab something and take it to our room" ! No thanks!

We wanted a double room but got a twin room. Check in staff told us we should have rung up to change and as they were fully booked they could not help us further even though we are booked for three nights. Room also very small with inadequate wardrobe space. Wished we had gone to Premier Inn.

If only I could find another adjective to use instead of poor there I would used, it was that bad. We intend staying for two nights or more but we eventually quit the hotel the next morning. But the staffs are wonderfully helpful, despite the fact that they were aware and to have acknowledged how cramped there rooms are. It's needless to be call a hotel

I arrived at 09.00 hoping for an early check in and was lucky enough to get one. Whether this was because I emailed the previous day I'm not sure but it was most welcome after my early flight. The reception staff were excellent. HIEs are basic functional hotels. This one is pretty grim from the exterior but, as always it's clean and practical. For some reason I had a super king sized bed in my room which wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast was a little sketchy with a poor fruit choice and they had run out of beans in the hot section. I asked the reception for an alarm call and they informed me that they did not offer such a service. It's easy enough to program to television for a wake up call but experience tells me to have a back up.

Nice clean rooms although no air con which made sleeping a struggle. Plenty of sockets near the bed. Good shower. Good breakfast. Standard hot and cold spread. Really close to town centre.

On checking in, the receptionist Wiktoria was lovely and friendly and kindly mentioned she had upgraded our room. The room was spotless and had a couch . At breakfast, plenty of choice to eat and the staff were all lovely too. We would definitely go back.

Very nice hotel. Pleasant and helpful receptionists and everyone else I met there. The room was clean and well set up, with a very comfortable bed and a real chair for sitting on, which seems strangely missing in many hotels these days. The breakfast was great. All in all, definitely a good place for a city centre stay. Very handy for the airport bus too!

Nice comfortable hotel close to shops, restaurants and bars. Staff were really friendly and approachable. Always willing to help. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of choice. One complaint was dog owners bringing their dogs into the breakfast area. (This needs addressed) Comfortable rooms with a good shower. Great value hotel for anyone visiting glasgow.

Standard budget hotel offering. Nothing to complain about. Good location but it's inside the Glasgow ULEZ so you'll have to park away if you've got an older car and want to avoid the penalty charge. The Cathedral Precinct car parks are not too far.

Nice place no problem staying there again, stuff were excellent at all times. Breakfast was good rooms clean and cleaned every day. I was taken ill when I was there staff again brilliant and the ambulance service was excellent. Turned up quickly and sorted me out in the excellent hospital. We don't know how much the ambulance and hospital staff do until we need Them.

Great location with easy parking in the parking garage across the street and just a quick walk to lots of shopping, restaurants, etc. Our room was clean and comfortable. They also have a small bar in the lobby that is open 24 hours for guests. A hot breakfast with eggs, bacon, and lots of other options was included.

Great location for me. Room was clean and modern. No air-conditioning though. Only storage heater but a fan was provided in the room. Breakfast was standard for HI express. The breakfast room is kind of small so time booking was requested. Would stay again.
