Love staying here. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Check in was fast and efficient. The rooms are always lovely and clean with a tartan decor such a beautiful touch. The ³breakfast which is included in the price is a buffet style breakfast but it was lovely and hot and plenty to choose from. The only down sides staying here is the parking. There's no car park so parking is on the side streets. Not many spaces close to the guest house so a tip is to get there early if you want to park close to the accommodation parking is paid at the hotel when you book in, they give you a ticket to display. Also the stairs in the guest house are very steep so if mobility is an issue please notify them in advance.

The twin room was very warm and comfortable with a nice en suite. Absolutely spotless and reasonably priced. It is in a great location, not too far from the city centre. Book in at the hotel across the road and ask about the parking vouchers they have available.

Lovely room, spacious no complaints, separate bathroom with a really nice shower, definitely what I needed after a day travelling, all the usual facilities tea and coffee, hair dryer etc, staff were very pleasant and breakfast was great, the price was also a complete bargain £46 on a Friday

Clean, spotless room, extremely helpful staff, car parking is a nightmare because of on street parking day time charges - expensive for long term stay despite free from 6pm - 8am, thankfully hotel has been very accommodating Food good choice and tasty in a very bistro styled restaurant below hotel - great vegan options such a bonus

✓ Perfect location ✓ Bus station only 2 minutes away ✓ Clean ✓ Tea, coffee & some bisquits provided ✓ Breakfast was very good ✓ Perfect wifi ✓ Checkin day: they kept our luggage (free of charge) so we could go for a tour (because we arrived earlier)

Having stayed one night in a supposed 3 star in Edinburgh, the difference in accommodation was noticeable. The room was large and nicely decorated, beds comfortable, Breakfast was plentiful and a good standard. This guest house is in two locations , the second on the other side of the road to the main building. Unfortunately this building is right opposite a pub, which has karaoke on some nights. Our room was facing the road, and it was very noisy on those nights. Overall it is a great location for the Hunterian and Kelvingrove museums. A great variety of restaurants locally. Would recommend Benerotti for good food and large portions.

Stayed in the hotel last time across the road that was great and the guest house is just as good. Clean and great value

The room was perfect for what we needed. Very clean with good shower. The location is great for getting about the city centre. Only let down was the breakfast, although it was included in the price, the standard of the cooked food wasn't the best, The little restaurant was very nice though. All in all, nice cheap getaway.

I was very happy here. My room was comfy and spotlessly clean. All of the staff were friendly and approachable. The breakfast was good and generous. The location is great for local attractions and close to transport links (bus, subway) to the rest of the city.

4 bedroom room ended up being 2 rooms 1 large and 1 box room with 2 beds top to tail. An absolute disgrace, worse still my daughter fell down the stairs and has bruises where she hurt herself. Could have been worse. Won't be back.

Great location. Comfy beds, clean rooms. We stayed over the road from main guest house. Everything was brilliant. Breakfast included in the price which was cheap for location. Will definitely return

Very clean and tidy. Staff were excellent. Would have liked staff to provide the toast alongside the tea and coffees. It was self service and people pushed past to use the toaster and wanted to put toast in twice as it didn’t brown well. Other than that very happy with stay and plenty buses and places to eat.

Only really used it for a place to sleep as we were out exploring most of the time. Close to local convenience stores, a large park and public transport to get you in and out of the city center. Breakfast was okay, buffet style with hot food, cereal, fruit salad and yogurt but couldn't see any normal fruit but sure they probably would've been able to provide if asked. The building itself was nice and warm which was great for when you had been out all day and got a chill. Overall a very nice place to stay!

Couldn't have chosen better accommodation. It's spotless, breakfast was amazing. 2 min walk from Kelvingrove. 20 min walk to city centre straight down Sauchiehall street

Staying since 5/9. Leaving tomorrow. Rooms are good. But in the basement. Down a light of narrow steps. With luggage we found it very uncomfortable. For breakfast you have to cross the road and go to Hotel. Reception in the hotel. Check in and walk across the road carrying heavy luggage. No staff to assist. But maintenance is good. Rooms are cleaned well.

Laid back hotel, great location, and clean rooms. It's really all you can ask for when you're travelling. We stayed here twice while in Glasgow because of the price and the service. Would likely stay here again. Beds are a little hard, but always slept just fine anyway.

Had a pleasant little room here rather recently, it is cosy, a nice looking spot too including the reception. The reception staff I dealt with were friendly and easygoing. The room was clean, no problems with the shower or toiletries or anything.

Stayed here for one night whilst attending a concert at the OVO Hydro arena. We had a warm welcome in to reception and an easy check-in. The hotel was easy to find however, parking limited to on street and was very busy so we had to park a couple of streets away (it is also worth nothing that during the week you must pay for parking). Our room was okay, the bed was comfy and room was warm. The room was also clean however, we did request a window view but got a back side alley. The walls were very thin and we could hear the conversations of our neighbour’s and the doors opening and closing sounded like they were coming into our room. Overall, would stay again if only using for a bed for a night but not for a longer period, it was a good affordable option.

Loved staying here and would have liked to stay longer. Staff was very helpful and nice, location is nice near the Kelvin Grove museum, a pub across the street and lots of restaurants nearby. The rooms were smallish but cute, clean and very comfortable. I felt very at ease here and would recommend.
