Loved it, welcoming staff and a lovely spacious room at the top of the hotel. Large bathroom with lovely scented toiletries and a big bath I could stretch out and relax in. A comfortable bed with quality bedding i.e. pillows and duvet. Only thing I felt was missing was a plug socket next to the dressing table to plug in hair tools. Added bonus of some minor activity- TV switched itself on at 2 in the morning waking us from sleep. Upon checking out the staff suggested a power surge. Perhaps they are right but with the reputation of being a haunted hotel- I like to think we had a friendly visitor. 🙂🤔 Would definitely stay again.

After a let down with alternative accommodation Laura came to my rescue the day before my parents were due to visit Glasgow for the night. She was the friendliest of hosts and was super accommodating to my requests (she even let me into the room early to add some birthday decorations before my parents arrived). This only added to a brilliant experience of a gorgeous room (with an amazing view), in a great location and at a very fair price.

Stayed for one night and wished we could have stayed longer, we had such a good time! Couldn’t recommend enough, the hotel is gorgeous and in a great location with views of the historic Necropolis. The room was stunning, really comfortable and perfect for a relaxing stay. We had dinner at the restaurant at the hotel - Celantanos which was absolutely delicious and has a bar and lovely outdoor terrace, great for pre or post dinner cocktails!

This is a lovely Boutique Hotel withing 7 minutes walk from the city centre. The food is superb, the rooms beautifully furnished and decorated. It really is one of the best places to stay in Glasgow.

We’re local to the area and went to try out the beautiful looking beer garden which had been newly refurbished and decorated. Although it has a lovely atmosphere the service could definitely be improved. They have implemented a one way system and also provide table service which is good, however, the table we were sat at clearly hadn’t been wiped and had rings and spills on it. We had one drink and would have had more if anyone had come round to the beer garden at any point (which I would have expected especially since it wasn’t busy). I feel this is a shame as it is a lovely place and we would be there regularly if the service was more attentive.

Great wee pub staff always friendly and welcoming. Great drinks and food selection and all at good prices. Only little gripe please change the hand dryer in gents toilet I would be quicker blowing on my hands. Still 10/10 though.

Can't say much about the service as it was self check in, but got all the details on email and it was no problem. Room was so cosy and the bathroom was absolutely lovely with a nice shower. Didn't see any ghosts but enjoyed the necropolis right across the street.

Cool boutique hotel across the Glasgow cathedral and necropolis. Try and get room 4, it has a great view of the cathedral. Breakfast is included in the restaurant downstairs (which is Michelin Bib Gourmand). Breakfast choice is limited, but the coffee is really good.

A lovely hidden hotel restaurant bar probably a secret place you'll love to discover

We were upgraded to room 4 which was absolutely beautiful. Humongous bed, plush carpet and blackout curtains, a fantastic view of the cathedral, spotless bathroom with high quality fittings and fixtures; the shower was amazing! Toiletries were really nice too. Plenty of tea, coffee, water with tunnocks biscuits. There was a book about Glasgow by the bed which was a nice touch as the building is in such a historical part of town. Would recommend dinner there too. Food was fresh and full of flavour.

We stayed in room 4, which had a great view of the cathedral just across the street. The service was excellent, we were so happy with our stay! Breakfast was homemade granola, fresh fruit and yogurt, homemade sourdough and coffee. Everyone was very friendly, would definitely stay here again! Thank you!!

This small 8 room hotel is ideally situated in the Glasgow Cathedral area which is a magical place to be. The host Laura is amazing and the associated restaurant has been awarded a Michelin badge…the food is excellent! Highly recommend staying here.

The room was cute and comfortable, with incredible views and an amazing bathroom. The design of everything is top notch. Breakfast was simple, but incredible and impeccably executed. I'm still thinking about the toast. And the bar downstairs is perfect. The owner was accommodating and just generally lovely. Highly recommend.

Really disappointed with this hotel. We were due to visit Glasgow for a gig on Saturday and had booked to stay here. Unfortunately the gig was postponed at the last minute on Friday afternoon, so we no longer wanted to travel (a fair distance from Newcastle), given this was the main purpose of our trip. Given the late postponement, we could no longer cancel our reservation for free and the hotel explained that they could not make an exception to their policy as they are a small family-run hotel with rising costs - okay fair enough, totally appreciate that. We then hoped to at least come to a compromise whereby we could keep our reservation for a future date (which we had already prepaid for). We felt this was a reasonable request, given the circumstances, however this was swiftly declined with no further explanation. So now we not only have the disappointment of the gig postponement but are also £160 out of pocket. The hotel themselves stated they are small family-run business but we saw none of the service that we'd expect from somewhere like that, with clearly no regard for future repeat business and positive recommendations.
