Staff are lovely here. Very budget hotel that ticks all the boxe. Doors are a little loud but it is what it is. Would stay again if I were in Glasgow Breakfast is served at the Sandyford Hotel on the corner.

I live in Glasgow and only booked this room because I was attending the Hydro and didn't want the hassle of getting home. A very warm welcome from friendly staff. My room was clean and tidy and I have nothing to complain about. Brilliant location just outside the city. Many shops, bars and restaurants close by. Also close to the Hydro and other venues. A little noise from the traffic passing but nothing that bothered me. Photos were taken after I lay on the bed, so ignore the crumpled duvet. Will definitely come back when I'm at other gig's.

We stayed here when attending an event at ovo hydro. This hotel is very well situated with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants close by. The rooms were quite basic but clean and had everything that you needed for an overnight stay. Our room was downstairs and a little cold however the was an oil filled heater provided which heated the room up fairly quick. Breakfast was good, small buffet of yogurts, cereals, juice, tea and coffee. Fresh toast and full scottish breakfast brought to the table cooked from fresh. Staff were lovely and friendly. Excellent value for money and we would definitely stay here again.

Great location, beautiful exterior and interior. If you have issues with mobility ask for ground floor room. The staircase is beautiful but difficult to climb. The lodge is in a great location, directly connected to downtown via sauchiehall. Quiet street, comfortable bed. Housekeeping could wash walls in rooms as there was a big splatter of tea(?) on wall. Shower small and needs updating. Walk to closest corner to the right reveals busy street with so much close by. Worth a stay

its a nice economical place to stay for a night with good breakfast. We stayed there for a concert in OVO Hydro. The event place was very close by just 10 minutes walk. Lodge room was clean, and towels were fresh. Windows can be double glazed to avoid any noise from outside!

For the price I paid (£50 a night) I thought it was great. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and it was within easy walking distance of the SEC. Absolutely no complaints about the cooked breakfast that was included in the price. Had no issues with the Wi-Fi either.

20 minute from the city centre. Breakfasts were good. Staff friendly. Just a room for myself which was good enough. Only bad thing I can say about the room was there wasn't much space in the shower and the water wasn't staying on the one temperature.

Located close to the West end of glasgow city. Nice old victorian building. 24-hr reception. Very easy check in. Rooms were a bit of a climb up but were really nice. Beds comfy. Toilets/shower good. Street parking (need to pay the machine/buy coupon -available at the recption) if parking during daytime. Good value for money. Highly recommended

Basic but brilliant. Spotlessly clean and the breakfast was great we were spoilt for choice. Can strongly recommend it. For the price you can not do better.

Perfect. Very clean and well presented en-suite rooms. Let me drop off my baggage before I went out on the tiles! Extremely polite staff. Will go back soon.

We stayed here for 2 nights. From the Queens Street Train Station, it takes 30 minutes on foot, buy bus circa 20 minutes. The bed was tidy and the main surfaces too. But the shower’s plughole was full with hair. In the room the tea tray and the switcher were sticky. We had to get our breakfast next door, which was great. These were the offers: muesli, canned fruit and sandwich ingredients, porridge and English breakfast. The staff was kind in every situation. Overall: we got what we paid for.

The location is ideal for access to so many eateries, bars, and music venues. The Sandyford Lodge has recently come under new management, which will hopefully see several rooms refurbished as they are needed. A room where the toilet seat is not fixed, the toilet roll holder is rusty, and there are no shelves in the bathroom for toiletries. It is not acceptable.

Horrible place, high stairs, double bed very small, shower a joke, very small with little water drizzling, parking very expensive, no service in this regard, 10 pounds for 3 hours!Just forget about this place.
