Facing Cochrane Street so extremely noisy - cars racing, bus stop, traffic lights, loading bay, buskers, pub at corner, George Square and so on. Best sleep between 130am and 530am as that's the quietest time. Room actually comes with ear plugs - see picture. Normally the rooms in older buildings have secondary glazing but that sounds like too much work. Goodness knows what happens if the fire alarm went off if you are wearing plugs. Strong smell of cooking/smoking in hall of apartment and approach to bedroom. Room well equipped and clean though smell was off putting as it was pungent. Great location for reason we were here but next time we will go a street back. We are in Glasgow a week at a time so there needs to be a balance between location and being able to rest.

We stayed in flat 3 which was clean and modern although very noisy at night as there's a bar restaurant downstairs and you can hear people shouting from George Square on a Saturday night. But that is not the biggest issue. The reason why we put the lowest score is because the management at the property after we departed the flat has claimed that we broke the bathroom mirror and charged us £50. This was completely untrue. I've been working in the hospitality industry for nearly 20 years renting service-apartments myself and therefore very careful and we did not make any damage. So if you have no choice and stay at the Saco Glasgow I highly advise you to take pictures before you leave the apartment as they might charge you afterwards for a damage you haven't done. Although it will be wiser to not book direct but via a third party in case any issue arises you'll have fair support.

Tras un problema, cuyo origen era anterior a nuestra llegada, consistente en goteras en el cuarto de aseo, nos hicieron dejar el alojamiento sin más compensación que la devolución de los días no utilizados y no nos dieron ninguna alternativa para alojarnos en una fecha de muy alta ocupación lo que nos hizo perder un día de nuestras vacaciones deambulando hasta las 22:30h por la ciudad hasta encontrar una alternativa que, además nos ha supuesto un sobre coste de 300€.

Está bien situado.
