We arrived late on Friday evening to a very warm welcome and the wonderfully appointed Queen Margaret apartment in Glasgow lived up to our expectations, accommodating seven of us with ease. We were so comfortable; the bedrroms, bathrooms & kitchen are amazing and the sitting room is to die for. On Saturday the weather wasn't too kind to us and about 4:00pm it was no hardship to head back to the apartment for nibbles and prosecco in front of the fire, bliss. Graham gave us some fantastic local bar and restaurant recommendations; we were a mothers and daughters group so the age range was quite wide but in the West End there was something to suit us all. On Saturday evening the girls stayed out quite quite a bit later than we did; taking advantage of the cocktails bars in the nearby West End! I can't praise the apartment or Graham's attention to detail highly enough; his advice for the West End and for the City was great. A two night stay wasn't long enough; for a weekend or longer stay in Glasgow it is the place to go; absolutely brilliant.

My sister booked this apartment to support a gathering of the family to attend my father's memorial service. With very generous room sizes and good quality furnishing/fittings throughout it was an ideal base to support the get together. Very comfortable and while the basement location limits the views the location suited our purposes perfectly, beds very comfortable we all slept very well through a mini hurricane that swept Glasgow during our stay. Highly recommended.

Great location close to Botanical Gardens and nearby scenic river walk. Easy access to amenities on Byres Road and good transport links into city centre. Luxurious, spacious, tastefully decorated and well equipped four bedrooms, three bathrooms apartment. The owner, Graham is both friendly and helpful and his attention to detail is excellent. We will definitely try to stay here again when visiting Glasgow.

We arrived very early - off the transatlantic plane - and the owner gave us a warm welcome - heat included - on a wet day at the end of April. We were given a detailed tour and shown how to work everything. During our stay there were a few glitches - including the hot water heater not working but all were fixed with efficient good humour. The place sleeps 8 comfortably with 3 bathrooms, so our whole family was very comfortable. There is a lovely big living/dining room with a gas fire and television and our relatives could visit us. It is within walking distance of Kelvingrove Art Gallery and the Botanic Gardens and lots of excellent restaurants on Byres Road. We would definitely go again.

Quite wee place to live in with friendly local convenience stores. Also for a quick get away the the kelvin walking is few yards away.

Good for students, good for working class.
