👍👍 I am away with my family for a holiday to Blackpool. Yesterday the boat was launched for a rescue. I was amazed at how fast and efficiently they got this done. It was only minutes and they were back with someone the team had rescued. These men and women that work for the RNLI are hero's and shoul... People often mention shop, lives, great,

I watch Saving Life's at Sea and love seeing these volunteer in action. They usually park out at the beach and keep an eye on the folk on the beach. Good job!

Very self righteous and rude lady on counter. Telling me I was putting the life savers at risk because I entered the shop without a mask. I have worn masks religiously in shops over the last year but was under the impression that it was no longer mandatory. I would have happily worn one if I had known/been asked politely, but the sign was so small that even after being told there was one, I had to search for it! I don't appreciate being told I'm putting them at risk when I'm actually going in to support them. The lady in question wasn't even wearing a mask herself, just one of those plastic visors that was sticking up and not even covering her mouth. Real shame that people have to be like that

It was only minutes and they were back with someone the team had rescued. These men and women that work for the RNLI are hero's and should have a salary but do it as voluntary. Amazing human beings and selfless. THANK YOU

The hugely knowledgeable and kind staff were incredibly welcoming to my family, inviting us to the mezzanine viewing area to look at the lifeboats before talking us through the history of the station and allowing my young daughter to try on a helmet and lifejacket for a photo. The volunteers showed great passion but were warmly inviting and generous with their time, and it was a pleasure to spend some money on gifts and souvenirs to support the lifesaving work of this important charity whilst taking a needed break from the blustery and chilly seafront.

Modern Lifeboat station combined with a well-stocked shop and visitors centre. Located on the seafront 150m from the Tower. The station houses 3 lifeboats as this is quite a busy station, and there is a gallery above the shop that gives excellent views of the boats in the garage, as well as offering lots of info about the history of the RNLI and the Blackpool lifeboats.

Great little shop selling things for a great cause. Always pop in here whenever I'm in Blackpool. Great selection of items and always find something I want. It all goes towards a great cause too, the RNLI. Pop in and help support if you can, you never know when you or a loved one may need their service. The staff are a cheery bunch too!

Always give a donation to these guys even if you only have some spare change. It’s the least we can do when they put their lives on the line for us.
