Much maligned, don't know the reason why. Great little gem of a place, good for all sorts of swimming. Relaxed staff warm inviting pool.

Visited last week the life guard was amazing with a person who needed them. What a team fantastic to see. Lovely pool . Been visiting for years when in bute .

Tried to use showers while attending Butefest, one of the locals got very aggressive towards us and we no longer felt safe and left. That said the staff were lovely and dealt with our complaint all though we left without refund. Although we did not use any of the facilities in the end I do have to say that it was clean and tidy and looked to be a great local amenity. Sad that we had the run in with the unfriendly, unwelcoming local.

Didn't know there was a leisure centre in Rothesay. Went for a swim. The pool is a bit shallow but functional. The hot showers are great and the staff are really friendly and helpful

Great pool for kids, the main swimming pool has a shallow pool attached meaning toddlers can have fun without being out of their depth.We were on Bute for holiday so numerous daytime slots for family swimming was spot on. Mainly individual changing cubicles but some family one too. Lockers were free, no need to root around for change, and there were lots of them. Overall spot on.

Feiendly helpful sraff. Clean fresh pool water and whole byilding. No coin needed for locker.

Replaced the previous swimming facilities at Battery Place about 3 miles away. Whilst the previous pool was Olympic size, this one is much more accessible for children and the elderly. Has a small gym attached with no jacuzzi or spa facilities.

Excellent customer service. Fab wee pool, great layout for little ones.
