Great hindu temple with Radha Krishna, Lord Shiva, Lord Sri Ram and Balaji dieties. There is a vibrant hindu community here and attending Kirtan and arati makes one peaceful. There is a hygienic and spacious dining area and delicious prasad. There is facility to perform Havan and also book the hall for special occasions.

This is the best place to visit in Newcastle upon Tyne for Indians who are so religious. The Hindu temple has been started in a way that for those Indians who have moved to Newcastle and miss going to temple on the auspicious days. The Hindu temple organise poojas, bhajans and festivals like diwali, Mahashivratri, holi etc.,, Which one might miss being in a faraway land. I highly recommend this place for those that seek inner peace.

The Newcastle Hindu Temple is an absolute treasure in the heart of our city, and I want to share my wonderful experience here. Nestled amidst the hustle and bustle of Newcastle, this temple is a true embodiment of the rich Hindu culture, traditions, and the spirit of community. One of the standout features of the Newcastle Hindu Temple is its dedication to celebrating all Hindu festivals with immense fervor and enthusiasm. Whether it's Diwali, Holi, Navratri, or any other significant occasion on the Hindu calendar, the temple transforms into a vibrant hub of festivities that truly captures the essence of these cultural celebrations. Attending these events is a magical experience that brings the local Indian community together and provides a glimpse into the beauty of Hindu traditions. The temple also offers a unique opportunity for the community to come together through its special service dinners on Tuesdays at 8:00 PM and lunches on Sundays at 2:00 PM. These gatherings not only serve delicious and authentic Indian cuisine but also provide a welcoming space for students and the Indian community to connect, share stories, and build lasting friendships. The volunteers and staff at the Newcastle Hindu Temple are dedicated and warm-hearted individuals who go above and beyond to ensure that visitors have a memorable and enriching experience. They are always ready to answer questions, share knowledge about Hinduism, and make newcomers feel like part of the family.

The only Hindu temple in Newcastle though we have ISKON temple and a Gurdwara as well. The Hindu temple has Balaji and every 2nd Sunday of the month a Balaji puja is performed. Bhandara is done Tuesday and Sundays along with daily Puja and Aarti.

One of the most spiritual places in Newcastle. Most importantly you feel like that you are there in India and feel your culture and traditions near you.

Its an old Temple, every Tuesday evenings and Sunday morning Kirtans and Prasdam. We can book for small occasions or pooja/havan. Everyone at the temple are welcoming and it is just across the street from Indian groceries. Only downside is the neighborhood is quite dirty not well maintained by the council
